I thought Wii - Rock Band would be a blast. Boy was I wrong. The first set we bought the dongle was bad and wouldn't even turn on. Took the set back to the store after finding out that the warranty requires you give them a $125 Credit card deposit before they will send you a new dongle. The second set, the dongle worked but the drums wouldn't sync with the wii. We are now on our 3rd set. We really wanted this to work. They look like a lot of fun. No go. Its going back too. Tech support is worthless. My husband has been on hold for an hour now waiting for someone to come to the phone and help him. Save your money. Wait till something better comes along. Even the MFG web site message boards are SWAMPED with complaints from these not working. SAD SAD SAD. And the reviewer that said "just insert your Wii Remote and your ready to play" probably hasnt. you dont use a wiimote you use a dongle that plugs in to your wii system USB port..

The rock ban for wii is for young adults. The songs that they offer are not kid friendly, at least not for mine. On the other side my kids have fun playing the instruments.

LOVE this product. We are Guitar Hero/Rock Band junkies in my house. Any free time we have is spent strumming away. Only downfall is that the downloadable content took too long to make it to the Wii gaming system.

The Rock Band game is awesome! Our family will sit and play this all night and never even realize how much time has passed. It has helped get my son really into learning an instrument and now he has mastered the Rock Band drums and moved onto taking drum lessons. I do not know if we would have even found out about hi incredibledrumming skills without seeing on the Rock Band set first. Absolutely Great Game!...

Rock Band for the Wii is awesome! I was skeptical because the Wii isn't much of a hardcore gaming system, but Rock Band...well...rocks! The songs are good, they have expansion CDs and it's fun to play with your friends. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact you can't combine Rock Band 1 and 2 like you can on other gaming systems.

Rock Band is so much fun. Especially when you get a few friends together add some drinks and before you know it your neighbors are calling at 3 am to turn the music down. Expand the music library with expansion packs and you can play for days. World tour mode puts some pressure on for those that are looking for more of a mission based game but this is really about having fun with friends. It would be nice to have a kids mode that doesn't fail out so the kids can play, but it will challenge them to learn how to play on the easy level. Tutorials are good as well and I really like how you can slow down a song to get it right. Great game with great replay ability....

I just want to say that rock band is a fantastic game that you will only have to play once to get hooked. Most of my friends are gamers, but even my girlfriend and her friends that don't play games love rockband. You get the drum set, a guitar, and a mic with the game, and each instrument is a lot of fun to play. You can play with friends, or you can play with the instrument of your choosing and play by yourself. The song list is a lot of fun and fairly diverse, so everyone should find music that they will want to play. It's one of the most interactive games I have ever seen and is a brilliant idea for a game....

So like, you want to rock out don't you dude? But do you have the money and time needed to actually become a performing gig? Didn't think so. Not to worry, there's always Rock Band! Get a couple of friends, some drinks, some food, and you're good to go on ROCKING OUT. You can have a drummer, bassist, guitarist, and a vocalist, all you really need to start your own band. Sure, it's virtual, but it sure is fun to play! If you're bored, or just at a party with random people, you all will get along as soon as you guys start playing! This game is a must to anyone who owns a PS3, Wii, and I believe Xbox360. Rocking out is just a few minutes away!...

I love Rock band for the wii. I love the fact that no matter our ages, we can play it together as a family and all have fun.

The only frustrating thing is the fact that the microphone and drums plug in to the system and the electric guitar uses batteries (non-rechargable). Ultimalely, we end up without a guitar whenever we run out of batteries. Wisih we could use the Wiimote battery pack/ charger.

Looking forward to more songs on rock band 2.

rock band for the nintendo wii is a outstanding video game one of the best games i have ever played maybe an average looking game but the game play is why the game is great you can sing to the songs thourgh the mic play the drums the the drum pads i like the drums play bass gutiar or rock out to the lead guitar fun for the one two three or four player mode its fun for the hole family my nine year old boy loves this game one of the best games out there online is fun as heck play with people from you city to around the world...
