Im a single mom of three. My little one constanly making a mess, his play pin needed to be cleaned so i took it apart except for the top rails that locked.They cant be removed, so i wash like hmmm i wonder???? so i folded it up stuck it in and washed it on bulky iteam..to my surprize, it came out like brand new no ripes or anything. I don't think there anything this machine cant wash!!

tHERE WAS A RECENT TIME WHERE I HAD TO GO HUNTING FOR THE PERFECT WASHER FOR MY FAMILY.OUR GRANDMOTHER LEFT THIS WORLD NOT SO LONG AGO AND WAS GENEROUS TO LEAVE HER VERY LOVED AND VERY LIGHTLY USED WASHING MACHINE TO ME.I AM NOT THE LITTLE LOAD KIND OF GIRL.LIFE IS SHORT STUFF IT TO THE LIMIT SO YOU HAVE LESS LAUNDRY TO DO.THEREFOR HER WASHER AND I COULD OF USED SOME HOUSE RULES BEFOR I OVER STUFFED ITS SMALL BELLY TO FULL TO OFTEN. I was so excited when I purchased this washing machine. After a few weeks things turned. From the start clothes came out very twisted and wrinkled, not to mention they came out cleaner with my old maytag. I also experienced coins falling thru the washer. When I called Whirlpool they basicly said 'Oh well, call a repairman'. This sure seems like a design flaw to me. I have a family of 6, so I DO CHECK POCKETS! Even so, things have been missed. It dosen't seem right to need a repairman to remove 15cents. F1 and load codes all the time. Now it is locked in a mode that won't spin or drain! This washer is energy efficient for Whirlpool, but not for me. This machine has worn me out!

Ok... this machine rocks!! I have 4 sons. 3 of them play contact football and get really dirty.

This machine gets everything super clean!!

I love all of the options for water temperature and load type.

It's very quiet too. Holds a ton of clothes and still gtes it all clean!

The spin function on it is awesome. When you get the clothes out they don't need very long in the dryer because they are almost dry. It does spin so fast that I end up ironing alot. I don't mind it though.

It's a great machine. I use it about everyday for at least 2 loads of laundry.

Highly recommend!

The Whirlpool Cabrio Washer is the absolute worst machine I've had! Even my old clunker was top notch compared to this. We purchased for the large load capacity, supposed ease of use, looks, and other features offered. So far, we have not been able to use the features -- they simply don't work! After about two years and a few servicings, we are down to using only the "Quick Wash" cycle and it usually stops 8-10 times per load. There are loud knocking noises, and that incessant buzzer when it's off balance has come to sound like nails on a chalkboard to us. We don't dare place large loads anymore, since they don't come clean and the stopping is ridiculous! It looks great, but as a busy Mom, I need it to function. Never, ever again!

I have had front load and top load washers but this one takes the cake. You can't hear it and it uses a lot less water. With some top load washers you can't smell the detergent or fabric softener and with front load washers your clothes don't get spun out completely. It is very gentle on my clothes unlike other top loaders. It is easy to use with places for detergent, softener, and bleach, my 2 1/2 year old does laundry!! (I'm not joking about that either) We have the clear top that we can look in and see what is going on and it provides entertainment for all who do laundry in the family.

I purchase my Cabrio Washer and Dryer used off Craigslist. It had been used for about a year and they had the receipts from Sears. The seller had to move to a condo that already had a washer and dryer and the new home owners had their own set. They really liked the machines, too. I especially like seeing my clothes through the window. They are easy to program and our clothes come out clean and in great shape. They are quiet for a washer and dryer and I haven't had any balance problems, even with comforters and rugs. I do delicate, small loads and big loads with great results. For a family a five with kids in sports, it's been a great match. We are very, very pleased with the performance.

any garmet that has long legs or long sleves comes out a twisted up mess....... It dosent matter what mode you use. Even when changing the spin feature they come out the same. Put them in the dryer the way they come out of the washer and you cant even iron out the twisted creases. I tried to return it to sears and they refused. Telling me To call a service man. See attached photos before you purchase this machine.

Bought the washer in November 2007 and have had the same problems ever since.The washer stays off balanced and if you leave a penny or anything else in pocket it will end up inside the washer by the pump and will puncture it. The old washers would keep the money inside the barrel but this one slings the money to the top and over it goes because of the improper balance. So if you hear something noisy inside then you better try to get it out before it puntures it. This happened two times and right after the repairman left it happened again because he couldnt find the other coin.

My Whirlpool Cabrio top load washer is great! I was so tired of trying to put clothes in & take out of my old front load washer--now my back doesn't hurt! It's so quiet & it spins the clothes nearly dry. It has the glass lid & I love watching it work--it's very intertaining! You're right--I lead a boring life!

I own a motel at the beach. Bought 2 of the Cabrio top loading washers. Love the big tub and no agitator!! However, after only 5 months for one and 3 months for the other, the cabinet is starting to rust. Have never had a machine to do this quickly and have owned several other Whirlpool washers.

i recently rented a washer from continental rental after mine brought down. i wanted a nice one. i found the whirl pool cabrio washer. i have seen it on t.v before adn fell in love with the size of it. i have a large family and i can fit so much into this washer. plus it saves on water and detects the load size all on its on. i love it. it is good for blankets to. my friends love it. the best product i have seen in a while.

I bought the Cabrio washer and drier set to replace my Kenmore set that I had for 16 years. Looking back I should've stayed with Kenmore. I bought this Whirlpool set two years ago and had the repair technitians out 4 times to fix the same problem with the washer. I thought it was just my machine but reading other reviews I see I'm not the only one having the coins in the pump problem. I empty out my pockets, then shake them to make sure all my coins are removed then my wife goes through the laundry and double checks for coins. On those occasion's where coins are missed, those coins end up in the pump. I don't care who you are your going to miss some coins every once and awhile. I've talked to Whirlpool about this problem and they have little to no sympathy for their customers who spend their hard earned money on their product. They say well you need to empty your pockets before you wash your clothes. I told them I check my clothes my wife checks the clothes the only...

I love the washer! It has it's faults, but it's great to use! It cleans clothes great, although the high spin cycle tends to knot and wrinkle clothes. The washer can hold a huge amount of clothes, towels, or bed linens. It tends to make a high pitch "jet engine" sound during mid cycle and before it ends. Overall great washer and energy saver.

This washer is very expensive and not worth your time or money. Yes it washes a lot of different loads and has no agitator so you can wash larger items or very large loads but it uses very little water no matter the size load and takes a long time to wash. The pros as stated are larger loads and use of little water as well as many different types of loads to choose from. It is digital and can give you a repair code at any time so I do recommend a warranty with it. The whirlpool repair man comes out and fixes it at no extra charge that way. You have to use HE (high efficiency) detergents, bleach and fabric softener as well. You cannot have too many suds or they won't clean well. Also you have to buy washer cleaner detergent as well for every few months. I can't find any in stores so it would be online only. When the loads are finished you get an end of cycle signal. But be careful, you also get a signal when there is a problem.
