      <description>&lt;p/&gt;&lt;p&gt;Bought at Lowe's 3 months ago. Opened the door to retrieve an item this week and everything was totally thawed. Read warranty &quot;does not cover cost for loss of food&quot;. When I called for service, it would be 2 weeks before anyone could come out, and three days before they even returned my call. This is a brand-new (didn't buy it used) 3 month old freezer. The door was not left ajar, there was no power failure. Oh-and they can't tell you which day they will be out to your house, you can't schedule an appointment for a specific time, they will just call you an hour or so before they get there. so, for those of us who work for a living, you have to give up a day's pay on top of the cost of all of your lost food that's now thawed out. Bad Bad choice. Will never buy a whirlpool again.  &lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;In spite of the prevailing attitude that self defrositing freezers give freezer burn, do NOT believe it for one second.&#160; I have 3, the oldest being a Kenmore, that we received as a wedding gift 40 years ago.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;I've kept meat and all types of freezer goods for over a year and have never had a bad tasting product because of it.&#160; And, my family, including me, are very fussy meat people.&#160; &lt;/p&gt;... </description>
