I bought this refrigerator about sixweeks ago and it doesn't seem to work right all the time. Sometimes it is so cold it freezes lettuce in the crisper and other times much of the stuff in the freezer half thaws out. It makes a lot of funny noises. About half the time there is a funny crackling sound. I purchased it from a national chain and when I called them they assured me the sounds were normal and would eventually go away. A call to the company just got us the same answer that eventually the sounds would go away and they claimed that we must must not be shutting the door all the way for the freezer problems.

We are in the process of trying to return it. I thought we would get a good value for a Whirlpool because I had done a lot of research and that seemed like a good brand. There was also good reviews for the GE brand but the refrigerator we replaced was a GE that didn't last very long. Based on my experiences I could not really recommend either of those brands....

We needed to get a few appliances all at once. Our old refrigerator had been a wedding gift from some of my co-workers. It was oky, but I know it was the cheapest one they could find. So about 5 years later it died in a bad way. First the fridge part died so we tried keeping stuff in the freezer. Then that died too. After living out of a cooler for a few days we finally got our new Whirlpool fridge. It iss great. It is not the biggest one you can get, but there are only two of us and it has more than enough room for all we need plus more. I love that you can move the glass shelves to differt level. And easy take out for cleaning. I also love that the shelves on the sides of the doors come off easily for cleaning too. In fact that id one of the reasons we bout this fridge. I had to try to clean the shelves on the doors when you can't just take them off and wash them in the sink. And as I said that is no problem with out new Whirlpool refrigerator. Also I love the icemaker,I have never had...

I would hope for a cheep fridge that Whirlpool makes, the motor would not make so much noise.
the icemaker is too slow.
I cannot seem to get the temp just right to keep my vegtables,cold
they are always getting ice.
While on one of our moves I accidently dropped the cheese drawer, and ,
my husband had to make numerous phone calls just to get the right part sent....

My Whirlpool refrigerator is the best investment I have made in a long time. It saves energy, easy to clean. Shelves can be moved around to accomodate any size bottles or cartons. Easy open doors, automatic defrost. I can't say enought good things about my purchase. I bought the item from Lowe's and they were prompt, courteous, delivered the item the next day and they took away my old refrigerator. The delivery people installed the new one and waited to make sure everything was working correctly....

This is a good quality refrigerator. i have had no problems with it. Keeps food fresh for a good period of time. I like the way it looks. It makes my kitchen look elegant and modern. It has plenty of room to store the things I typically keep in my a refrigerator....

The Whirlpool refrigerator is the best refrigerator. It runs quietly. The temperature of both the freezer and refrigerator remain stable and even. The freezer and refrigerator handles are easy to use. The crisper definitely keeps produce crisp....
