High there, i have whirlpool refridgerator/freezer and it is great for a family a large family or a medium family, or a small family. It has a freezer on the bottom of the refidgertor and I lovr the freezer on the bottom rather than the top, It has shelves in the freezer and a slide out shelf as well it ia really great. Tghe refridgertor that I own is egg shell color, and a very nice size its pretty big, I have a family of four. On the top is the main part of the refridgertor and it has alot of shelves on the door when you open it to put all of your condoments on it is very helpfull. And it also has clear shelves that you can pull out to clean if you want to. It comes with four clear drawers with climate control so you vegetables, stay crisp and they don't freeze. It also has a deli drawer or a meat drawer very handy to to keep all of your deli meat in and cheese as well. Thw whirlpool refridgertor that I own is great I recomend it to any one.
...

This model has a water/ice dispenser and our kids can help themselves easily, it also has a light. Also the temp controls are in a practical place at the top when you open the door of the fridge. This is out of reach of children. There is plenty of lighting in the fridge and freezer compartments. Also its easy to hook up you water connections, there are instructions handily placed on the back of the unit. Like most other models you do not need to worry about defroster trays underneath. It evaporates away, so you don't need to check on that. You can hear it dripping in there sometimes. This means there is less maintenance to worry about
...

When my refrigerator went out I purchase a whirlpool side-by- side refrigerator model ED2KHA*V*0 and I must say that is the best one that I have ever owned. It’s easy to keep clean. The glass shelves just wipe off. The shelves are also adjustable with is a nice feature. The door bins which are big enough to hold a gallon of milk lift out for easy cleaning. The bottom drawer has a sliding switch that coverts the drawer from either a meat drawer to a vegetable bin. You can set the contro to one of the three meat settings to store meat at the right temperature. This is a very handy feature. The other feature I like about this refrigerator is the side freezer. It frost free and easy to arrange food in. It also has a tilt out bottom bin. The ice maker has a lot of nice features. I can select between crushed or cubed ice and it also has a water dispenser. The ice storage bin also lifts off. This model aslo a lock for the ice depenser that can be turned off or on. The door has a nice finish...
...

we just bought a whirlpool fridge about 2 months ago. are chest freezer when to heck, so instead of buying a new deep freeze we bought our whirlpool fridge.

We bought the side by side all fridge, and on the bottom is the freezer with the pull out door with tons of room. I think the square footage is about the same as our chest freeze was.

I can't believe all the room in the two door fridge, in fact it is hard to fill up. the best features it has is the energy saver for one thing, And some of the other things it has is the pull out tray for cans, and the big shelves on the door for mild jugs.

one thing i know we should never have to worry about is finding room in the fridge during the holidays.

And yes people it is quiet you can hardly hear it running, the only time is when the ice maker is making ice. But i would most likely buy another whirlpool fridge and maybe even other alliances.

So yes it is a nice fridge
...

My Whirlpool refrigerator bears the Energy Star symbol. It has a light which lets you know when the filter needs changed. Both a water and ice dispenser is included - which I love. The freezer and refrigerator are side by side. The vegetable bin has a crisper control. I have been very happy with it.

Bought my Whirlpool refrigerator about 5 years ago and it worked great for 3 years then had to get it repaired. The ice maker's never worked. Otherwise it works great. It's a bottom freezer. The main thing that I don't like about it is the drawer in the freezer allows things to fall through to the bottom. I found a couple of other manufactures that don't have that problem. I will purchase a Samsung next time.
...

My fridgerator is worth its cost. It has everything right there. I love the Ice cube maker, and the crush ice, cube ice and water all right on the outside . I don;t have to open the door unless i need something else. Having the freezer right there with the refridgerator is great for taking the frozen things out and putting them in the refridgerator until I get ready to use them that night. It dosent take up a whole lot of room. Like haveing both refridgerator and freezer. I can have room for other cabinet space or more breakfast area. It doesn't take much to unthaw the freezer and clean it, the refridgerator is easy to clean too.
...

When I first got my Whirlpol side by side refrigerator/freezer, I was a bit skeptical as to how good it would work with all those extra functions and parts. However I was pleasantly surprised. It was wonderful not having to dig in the freezer to see what was there and the convienence of having fresh filtered water and ice cubes always at hand was so great! I had that one for about 15 years and then when we needed a new one, decided to get another and of course it was a Whirlpool! I would reccomend these refrigerator/freezers to anyone who was looking for a new one, and I'd also stick with the Whirlpool brand. The only thing I would change is : making sure all have a changeable water filter set right in the actual unit, and making the water line screens known to the consumer so that they can be checked and changed periodically. The refrigerator/freezer I have now is 11 years old and I just started having the water line screen issues. Not bad!!
...

I HAVE ALWAYS USED WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES. TO ME, THEY ARE DEFINATELY THE BEST. THEY ARE RELIABLE AND FORGET ABOUT REPAIRS! THEY LAST AND LAST. I ADJUSTED MY WHIRLPOOL REFRIDGERATOR WHEN I GOT IT AND HAVE NOT HAD TO DO ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT USE IT. THINGS ARE KEPT AT JUST THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE AS I LIKE THEM WHETHER IT'S CANNED SODAS OR FRUITS AND VEGGIES. IT REALLY IS A GREAT APPLIANCE. NOT TOO PRICY EITHER AND LOOKS VERY NICE!!...

My Whirlpool fridge was good in it's time but it is getting old and it is not only falling apart but is very inconvientient. Door shelves are falling off when I open the door and I cannot find anything without at least five minutes of searching. Since my 21 year old grandson moved in with me and I have had to double up on food the old girl just isn't big enough and I know the overfilling adds to everything falling out when I open the door. I confess that since I saw the "french door" refridgerators my feelings about my fridge have gotten worse. I can't really blame Whirlpool for my troubles. I know they are one of the best in appliances and they have just the kind of refridgerator I want but their prices are in step with their efficiency and being on a fixed income I just can't afford one.
...
