haysfamily97 says "Quiet Partner III loads tightly, is thorough & quiet." about Whirlpool Quiet Partner III

We love our Quiet Partner III. I like how I can load dishes tightly, getting lots in, particularly bowls one after another without leaving spaces between them. It cleans pans well and silverware thoroughly, and my family's always overpacking the silverware. I love that the silverware basket can be placed in the door or on the front of the lower rack. I also enjoy being able to tell easily when I need to add a rinse agent. The upper rack raises and lowers, which is convenient. There are other accessories, but we're pretty basic.

This dishwasher is VERY quiet. We have an open floor plan in a new home with hardwood floors. We were concerned about the noise level of a dishwasher and being able to watch TV or listen to music. We seldom even remember that the dishwasher's on.

One thing we do have to keep in mind: We have to make certain there are no "tall" items, such as longer knives or serving spoons in the two left sections of the silverware basket or the detergent dispenser...
...

randtwpcl says "Whirlpool Quiet Partner III is just that -- Quiet!" about Whirlpool Quiet Partner III

My poor old Maytag dishwasher was 16 years old -- on its last leg. After working with my daughter reviewing both internet sites and visiting stores for feastures, etc., I narrowed my search to a few necessities -- quiet, movable pins for dishes, need height for larger pans, removable parts for odd shaped items.

The Whirlpool Quiet Partner III has all the features I wanted plus!

I can't believe how quiet it runs. There are times when I hear a little click or noise and have forgotten what is running in the kitchen only to find out it is the dishwasher. It has 6 cycles and 5 options including a rinse only cycle, delay start, power saver, power water burst which is great for pans and casseroles that have had stuck on foods. I can get my largest cookie sheet in it with ease! The silverware tray can fit on the door or hooked on the bottom rack which is a nice option. I run the machine with the silverware on the door. I like that the pins can be moved or removed for those odd shaped items....
...

DrLadybug says "The non-energy efficient dishwasher" about Whirlpool Quiet Partner III

Brand new home with like appliances - that unfortunately "came with" the home. We opted for a black top, stainless steel DW in an ENERGY STAR certified home, and this is truly disappointing for a DW. Though it may very well be energy efficient, it runs through TONS of cycles and uses TONS of water. First, water runs and a couple mini-cycles are completed *before* the dishwasher ever shows the time remaining. When the clock does begin, the time display (on the "normal" setting) shows 90+ minutes remaining. Please tell me how it's energy or water efficient when a DW takes an HOUR AND A HALF just to clean dishes! In our former home, we had a perfectly good, inexpensive Fridgidare that took 30-40 minutes, used minimal water, and was quiet; for a new-fangled model, this one pales in comparison. The stainless steel tub is a nice feature, but the energy and water inefficiencies are enough to make me say with confidence that we would have never voluntarily bought a Whirlpool Gold...
...

We had a dishwahser that finally broke down and we bought the Whirlpool Quiet Partner III. It says it's quiet but it's not. Other than that I think it does a fine job cleaning dishes. You don't need to wash them then put them through the dishwasher. I like it....
