This microwave came pre-installed in my new condo and worked for the first 18 months, but then it would no longer heat anything. The magnetron went out which is no longer covered by warranty after 12 months and cost me $275 to repair....

Excellent product Lasted over ten years and then

just gave it away due to a move or I would have still had it Easy to clean

although I really would prefer a microwave/convection oven combination which

would be great for more meals. Should include a recipe book as well

This microwave is the worst i ever had. It done the same exact thing as the other lady's, it fried and no longer works. It seems to me that there is an apparent problem with the microwave if there are several people reporting the same issue....

I use my microwave as often as I can. I don't use it to only reheat things. I cook meat, especially chicken, bacon, and of course I have to pop popcorn. It cooks my food evenly with the turntable. It is easy to use no complicated instructions. The only thing that frustrates me is when I pop popcorn. If I pop 2 bags consecutively, the 2nd bag won't pop, so I have to restart it. I don't know if it is supposed to do that to cool off? But other than that, it works good.

Our Whirlpool Microwave came installed in our new manufactured home. There was no problem for the first 14 months. The beginning of the 15th month the microwave began to give off sparks in the back left corner of the interior cooking area about every 20-25 times it was used. I never witnessed this, it was reported to me by the kids. A couple of weeks into the 15th month the microwave had a meltdown in the interior (the cooking area). The cover of the area that vents (looks like louvers in the upper portion of the interior) had melted and was giving off ash of a papery black consistency as well as a terrible burnt electrical smell. I immediately turned the microwave off, cleared the room and found the warranty papers for the unit.

The Whirlpool company is contracted with the Sears Co. for repairs in our area so a Sears repairman...

Shopping for a microwave oven was far more difficult than expected because many have negative reviews. This microwave works fine for us: enter a cooking time, press start, and it works. It is also easy to reduce the cooking power during operation and use of the timer is straightforward....

Whirlpool Microwave I just purchased it . Whirlpool makes great products at a great cost.They are low in price but high in quailty.
Believe me it is a product that you will love and use trouble free for years to come.If you are looking for a great product this is the one for you.........
