Westinghouse seemed to make a good tv. Its a 46 inch tv, so its a good size the only thing is that its not a 1080p. Its a high definition tv. In my opion its a bargan at its price. the only problem i have with it is when you buy a tv at that size you have to have a 1080p for higher resolution because the bigger it is the mopr megapixils you need....

Westinghouse HDTVs including this one are outstanding. You definitely get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed. It comes with a built in ATSC tuner and the picture is amazing....

Westinghouse? Was told by an experienced repair tech that LG, Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba all are longer lasting, easier to work on when (& if) needed and doesn't put the repair facilities on the "send it in to us if you want parts or drawings" route like Westinghouse is apparently known for. Next TV if this one costs an arm and a leg to fix? An LG, Toshiba, Samsung, Panasonic, anything but Westinghouse. Mine is only two years old (an LTV-27w7) and is face down in the mud, so to speak......

I really like our 37" Westinghouse Monitor. We picked it up during an after Christmas sale for $799 and we haven't found any quality 1080p TVs that are close to that price since.

The picture quality is excellent, there are many hook-ups in the back, and it has a very attractive design. I love being able to mount it on the wall and not having it take up space. I haven't seen any TVs that are this nice for even close to the price that we paid.

I am a bit disappointed in the remote receiving ability. At first I thought it was a problem with the remote itself, but we switched to a universal remote that works great with all of our other devices but not the monitor. You need to have the remote pointed directly at the TV & only in a very small area. If you are 4 feet to the side of the TV you have to stretch your arm out to the side because it won't accept a signal from more than a 30-45* angle. I would have given the monitor a 5 Star rating if this wasn't the case, it is a really nice unit!......

I have 2 westinghouse lcd tvs. I love them both, the picture is amazing and they are very affordable. Maybe a sony or samsung plasma has a better picture/color, but it would be triple the price. I think the picture/color/sound on these tvs are comparable to many other tvs, and MUCH better than the cheap crappy brands like insignia....

I received this tv from a Black Friday Special 2006 from Best buy. I hadn't heard much about the brand, but from a friend I worked with.

One guy bought the Sharp Aquous and he had all these problems, but the guy with the Westinghouse had no problems. The TV has 2 AVI connections, DMVI, and HDMI.
The picture clarity is great! The sound quality could be better because sometimes when a loud commercial comes on it doesn't equalize the sound level.

All in All, I believe it was great buy for the price and for the amenities....

I bought the 40 inch and i really like it. It was also much cheaper and seriously if you can really tell the difference you watch way to much TV. I had to have the one with the DVD built in as well. It is a front loader and looks very good. It has HD tuner built in as well. I love it and it was under $1000 at Sam's club....
