I bought the weslo cadence g-40 a week ago. This treadmill is perfect for the price. I definately like the fact that it has different programs to use to build up your workout. My whole family uses it(our yougest daughter is 6 and loves it). It folds for easy storage, though we have it set up all the time in our family room. I would highly recommend this treadmill to everyone.
...

ALSNY says "A valuable treadmill for under $300." about Weslo Cadence G40 Treadmill

On sale for only $287 at Walmart, I put it on my Walmart charge card and didn't have to pay interest on it for 6 months, since it cost over $250 (if you have a Walmart card, that's just one of the perks - their customer service is great, too!).

It took two or three people to get it in and out of the car and into the house (weighs 250 lbs) and if you have a dolly it will help, but once inside it slides right out of the box with only a few pins to insert to get it up and running in 5-minutes. It has to be plugged in to work, so keep that in mind. But, it folds up for easy storage, fits behind a door or just against the wall, and has wheels that make it easy to move around.

The large LCD Display is great and can track your speed, time, distance, calories and pulse. The heart monitor is also built into the panel and is fairly accurate. I really like that perk. Plus, there are four personal training workouts which vary your speed, but adjustable digital speed control buttons are...
...

This product is ok for the money you pay for it. It is nice when you dont want to go for a run outside and can just pull the thing out and get a decent workout without going anywhere. I got my weslo cadence g40 treadmill about 3 or 4 months ago and I havent had many complaints about it, it could be better., But as with anything you get what you pay for. It is pretty sturdy and easy to use, at a good value. I would recommend it to anyone. It does have one problem I noticed. The railings you hold on to dont seem to be in the right position for shorter people. It would have been nice if they would have made it adjustable or something. I know when other family members use it and who are short, they didnt really like it too much for the fact that the bars were not far back enough it seemed from what they mentioned. They said they either had to reach out far which would be uncomfortable and awkward, or get a normal grip on it, but then they would be stepping on the tip of...
...

WESLO CADENCE G40 - ! This one works great! I have had Weslo Cadence G40 treadmill since three months now and it has been working great till now. I got this treadmill as a gift from my wife in last Christmas of 2008. I use it daily and work out for almost three continous hours. Which means I use is a lot and I dont see any sign of wear and tear yet. I have lost 50 pounds on it and I receommend this highly to everyone who want to loose weight by cardio excercise. This is good for winter time when I cant go out for walking. I have made my small gym at home and this one rules man. I am asked by many people who see a big difference in me and I give all the credit to my treadmill. It has a four training programs on it which works great. it concentrates on your whole body work out but need a lot of stemina. This one is very sturdy. It can also be folded when not in use, this is very helpful when you have a kid. I am very happy with my it and I recommend this to everyone who are planning to join...
...

This Weslo, like the others that I have seen, has one major problem. The railings you hold on to are not far back enough. When you walk, if you hold the railings, you will find yourself stepping on the front of the unit or stretching to reach the bars. This is a problem especially for us shorter walkers (ie me at 4 foot 10 inches tall!). The display is very good. You can see your speed and distance in miles or kilometres. The speed is easy to adjust but the incline is more difficult. You have to stop walking to manually change the incline. If you prefer to walk on flat ground, you have no problem. The surface is comfortable to walk on. There is a soft stepping surface with a light rebound. The carpet is not too narrow, like some of the treadmills I have seen, but it is not overly wide either. The treadmill is easy to store. You can fold it up and put it away behind a door. I would recommend this treadmill for its price. It is quite reasonably priced compared to other treadmills of the...
...

I would like to have one of these. Because so far only swimming helps me loose weight because too much heat to my body makes me very sick. I take medications for my illness. Well one of the medications that I do take causes me to have decrease sweating, and excessive exersizing will cause me to over heat and start cooking the insides such as my organs. So lately I find that swimming can give me the exersize I need without overheating. This machine here wouldn't cause me to over heat cause I will be walking and not running. I could do it in the privacy of my own home. I am very self conscience of my looks. I can't exersize in front of people because of my shyness....
