lobofan says "Treadmills are not made for all people." about Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill

The Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill is a good product. We bought it at Academy Sports and Outdoors. It was reasonably priced. I was so excited to get it home and get it set up. I set it up in the bedroom, I didn't use very much in there. I feared it would become an overpriced clothing rack. So, I moved it to the living-room to be in front of the Television. That worked for a little while, but only a couple of weeks. I just could not get into walking and not going anywhere. I tried Television, music, you name it. I think if I had a book on tape it might have held my interest a little longer. The treadmill is a little loud so you have to turn the television up to compensate. The treadmill is now folded up in our storage room collecting dust. Some day I will sell it to someone who can actually enjoy it. I guess I just prefer walking outside. But for those of you who enjoy treadmills, this is a good product, folds up easily and is not that exspensive. Plus, I'd sell you one pretty cheap:)
...

I bought this treadmill about four months ago and use it almost daily. Great value, sturdy and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone. I used to use an eliptical daily, now I have moved on to the treadmill and find the transition was easy since my endurance was up. I am not sure how easy this would be for a beginner but I imagine no problem at all....

Cadense can stand up to the more expensive brands. For me I prefer it. Easy to walk on, no rails to get in way of arm swing, and sturdy. Had it for years with no problem....

Jo says "Hop on if you are small, elderly or way out of shape." about Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill

To the Point

I have now tested the Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill many times. I do believe that we often get what we pay for and that's the case with the Cadence C44. Not that it doesn't have a redeeming quality; it does and for that reason I will recommend it.
A Closer View

The specifications:

The Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill measures 64 inches by 28 inches by 52 inches. This is a small machine. The belt on which you walk, jog or run measures 16 inches by 47 inches.
The maximum user weight is 250 pounds which is on the low end for treadmills but you will only pay $400 and probably considerably less on sale.

Most treadmills now have absorptions systems that have a name. Weslo calls the belt on the C44 Treadmill comfort cell cushioning.

Unlike most treadmills this one has an incline ability of just three levels: 3%, 6% and 9%. The machine has to be manually changed by a system that locks the unit in the incline position.

You can get the speed up to 10 miles per hour with arrows on the console....
...
