I sigend up to get a Walmart credit card a few months ago and had no problem in attaining one. Though we really didn't want another credit card I thought it would be helpful just use it for the Murphy's gas station the on Walmart property. You get 3 cents off at the pump with the card. I figured if we only use for gas and pay it off at the end of the month it would be okay. You can get a Walmart gift card and put what ever amount of gas you want on the card an use that but this way I wouldn't forget and could still get the 3 cents off with the cridit card. After having it for only a few months, all of a sudden they lowered my credit limit to $100. There was no real explanation and our credit hadn't change, or if anything, may have improved, since I got the card. Only one time did I use it for something other than gas and that was less than $20 and we did pay off our balance when we got the bill. I almost feel like I am being punished for paying my bill on time an not carrying a balance...

it is the wallmart crad. ti is the best card out ther today for somebony to us. i got it to buy a nicr computer. and is great!!!!!!...

This was the first bill with the card. Have online payment set to pay entire balance on date it was due. To my surprise they added a $25 late fee even with the payment listed as paid through their electronic system and a valid processing number. CS stated it would take up to a week to remove. They can add it fast...... but taking it off.....will watch this company like a hawk....

our walmart card didnt work right before christmas our credit limit still had 1300 left and guess what . called them said had 6 bucks left never missed a payment and never been late merry christmas. think ing about taking a class act law suite againast them.

ge bank u suck and so does walmart...

Walmart slashed my credit limit with the excuse that the country is in an economic crisis. They did this with no warning or notification. I found out when I tried to use my card at the checkout counter surrounded by other customers and had to suffer the embarrassment of my card being rejected. I had never missed a payment on this account. You reek Walmart. Your practices stink to high heaven and I will never spend another dime in your store....

I dont usually like to use credit cards, but with the economy i have had no choice. It has allowed me to buy things for my family. It has been a life saver!...

I love this card. The finance charges are not that much and as long as you pay on time there is no hidden fees. There is no annual fee either. This is a good card to have in case of emergencies....

Why not a wal-mart credit card. It comes in handy, and since you can also use it at the pump to save the 3-cents per gallon, it beats having to add cash to a gift card. I think it's a great deal! Wal-mart should have thought of this along time ago. It also helps that you can get a little cash at the register if you need it without having to go to an ATM....

It's a terrific card. It's there when my budget is tight. Whether in need of a tank of gas , a haircut ,a quick gift, or a food item. They are open 24 hrs. a day. Very convienient to my busy schedule....
