worthit says "LIKE THIS TV A LOT" about Vizio - VX32L Television

My hubby and I purchased the Vizio-VX32L television this year (2009) because my teenaged son's television was a bit old and finally went out. So, we gave him our tv (okay, just an excuse to get a new television for the bedroom!). Anyway, we wanted a flat screen at a great price so we went to Walmart and looked around, liked the picture the Vizio gave, and decided to purchase it after reading great reviews on it. Well, they were out, so we had to order it. But, when it finally came, we were very impressed. Picture quality is very good and we didn't have to spend and arm and a leg on it.
The only issue I have with this tevlevision (and it could be User Error), but the color sometimes does something weird. All of a sudden, the faces and bodies of people on the screen will be outlined in red. Now, it could be that we need to just adjust the color or something, which we did try, but to no avail. So, we will be calling customer service because it is a little early on to be having problems with......

I have a model VX32L that is 1 year and 1 month old. The power comes on but no picture. I called Vizio support and spoke to Carlos (Badge #66908) who told me that it was a bad backlight, and that it would be cheaper to buy a new television than to fix mine. My first and last Vizio.
...

SeanR says "Great bang for the buck, especially as a bedroom TV." about Vizio - VX32L Television

I bought this about 8 months ago at Sears, and I have been very pleased. I wanted to replace the 12 year old tube tv in my bedroom, but I couldn't justify spending a lot since its just for bedtime and getting ready in the morning. The Vizio was about 25-50% less than may of the major brands like Sharp, Sony, and Samsung. My only complaint about the TV is the sound quality, but its not a problem unique to Vizio. In fact, most flat panel TV speakers are subpar, since they lack "volume" of space needed for optimum sound quality from most speakers. Overall, great TV, especially for the price. But I wouldn't buy it for my home theather - I bought a Samsung for that....

Vizio 32. The picture is great. The sound is not very good and there is a large difference between reqular broadcast and HD. The HD is very much lower in volume, even when changing to the same show. Like the set very much except for that.
...

We bought this TV, then bought the HDMI cable and the picture and color is amazing. Everything is so rich and real. The football and sports is amazing. My fiancee still can't get over the picture. It's such a great and affordable TV. I've seen others that cost hundreds more, but why pay that when Vizio can offer the same quality and save you hundreds?...

I purchased my tv 5 months ago and it is the best deal. A great tv at an affordable price. I searched high and low for the best buy. We compared all of the latest styles and brands, but no tv beat the vizio on price and overall satisfaction. I hope anyone that is looking for a tv will consider the vizio. Some people may be focused on the brands they've known for years, but don't be fooled thinking they are the best deal. We came close to spending more for a well known brand, but quickly came to our senses. I have nothing negative to say about the product or the price....

If you are looking for a lcd tv that is not too big and not too small but for a reasonable price, this is the model for you. It has a crisp picture, enough connections in the rear for your HDMI, S-Video, Component and RCA equipment. It has a great picture, good sound, although more than likely if you are adding this to your home theater you would most likely use your surround sound system. There haven't been any unforseen issues or repairs needed. TV works as described with an excellent picture and good sound.
...

This Vizio is simply the best tv on the market and actually the best bargain. I have already recommended this tv to 3 people and they love it. If you need a tv, this is your only choice!
The setup menu is pretty simple and most people should have no problem with that.
I have mine on a stand but I've seen other people who have it on the wall. Either way, it looks great.
It really is nice when watching movies, sporting events or especially when playing video games.
Once again, it is a great bargain and the best tv on the market by far....
