This blender does everything from make juice to hot soup all in one machine. there is no mess to clean up and it is fast and easy. You get all the vitamins and nutrients you need and never have to make a mess. Clean up is easy too.

This is by far the best blender I've ever used!!!

I've had it for a couple of years & I've used it nearly everyday...sometimes several times a day!!!! It's great for smoothies, custom coffee blends, nut milks, nut butters, soups, fruit & vegetable juices, pancake batters, syrups....you get the point....it's great for everything!!!!!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful this blender is!!!!!!! The best part is; after all of those things you can make...it's super easy to clean!!!!! :D

The only small complaint I have is that while The Vita-Mix comes with a 7 year warranty, it didn't cover the tamper when I needed a replacement. One of my friends' kids put my tamper in the dishwasher when I wasn't paying attention & it fell to the bottom during the cycle, burning a hole in it & making it unusable. I called Vita-Mix for a replacement & I was told that it wasn't covered by the warranty because they're not supposed to go in the dishwasher...I was a little disappointed,...

The Vita Mix is the most powerful, awesome blending machine known to man. Okay, maybe that's a slight exageration, but not by much. The Vita Mix is the most supremely awesome blender I have ever owned. It's so powerful that you can even use it to make pudding because the blades spin so fast (or so I have been told.) The only possible drawback that ever will cross your mind is the fact that sometime you don't want to obliterate the food/drink in your blender and it can be difficult to retain some kind of texture. You can circumvent this with careful supervision. The Vita mix can blend anything you can think of, pesto, fruit, soup, smoothies, etc. It's also relatively easy to clean as well, which is a huge bonus. It also comes with a recipe book. Basically, if you love cooking, you should do yourself a huge favor and get a Vita mix. Your stomach and your friends will thank you.

I recently purchased the Vita Mix 5200, with a 10 speed, 1500-watt motor. After much research, comparing Vita Mix brand with Blendtec and other less expensive blenders, we found that overall the ratings for Vita Mix were excellent.

My husband and I were first introduced to the Vita Mix 5200 at a local Home Show, where a demonstration was taking place. We were fascinated with the capabilities of a blender.

My pervious experience with a blender was making a fruit smoothie with a 450-watt motor blender that struggled to crush the ice. Now we were watching a young lady put whole fruits and cups of ice into the machine and within seconds a wonderful fruit smoothy was produced. We were also amazed as she put vegetables into the blender and with a couple of minutes we were being served hot vegetable soup. On and on the demonstration went. Now months later we are the proud owners of this high powered machine. It is fun creating new recipes using our blender.

The Vita-Mix 5200 is a wonderful product and worth the cost. Capability of making the following, just to name a few things: smoothies, ice cream, soups, whole food juice, vegetable juices, margaritas, cabbacino (with coffee - yum), etc. It is consistent in its blending, whether you are making the soup or ice cream, and cleaning the unit is the easiest....put some warm sudsy water in and turn it on and rinse....no messes. It says something when the grandkids go to the fair and want to see it demonstrated in every building. What a healthy way to get them to eat those fruits and vegetables..

We owned a Breville juicer in the past but it was so big and cumbersome.....the juice separated from the pulp and made a big mess!

My husband and sisters all chipped in and bought the VitaMix for my birthday! I absolutely love it! I have been having so much fun making smoothies and juices from recipes and some of my own creations. I haven't even attempted to explore all of the other things my VitaMix can do like soups and desserts.

My main concern right now is for health and energy. I have recently been diagnosed with liver disease and a pancreatic tumor so changing my diet was a must. With little to no appetite and poor eating habits the VitaMix has been a God send to me in changing some of those behaviors!

I now look forward to healthy green smoothies and fresh veggie and fruit drinks! I would recommend this juicer to anyone who wants to change their life without a lot of hassle. Clean up could not be easier....rinse off the lid and rinse out the container. If you really need to clean...

I have had Vitamix blenders for at least 13 years and never had a single problem. We use it for mixing smoothes,making frozen deserts,making batters,soups,grinding coffee beans,chopping nuts,crushing ice and anything else you could find for it to do in the kitchen. The best part is that you do not have to peel or deseed the fruit or vegetable before processing it in the mixer. You get all the benefits of all the fiber. It will freeze smoothies(adding ice) and will actually make hot soup caused by friction created by this powerful unit. It also comes in handy for making composting quick and easy too. We use a separate mixing container for all garbage which is then added to composter in our garden area. The Vitamix 5000 is so easy to clean! Just add a drop of dish detergent ,two cups of water,replace the top and turn it on 15 seconds and it's clean.Great Unit!!

We bought our Vita-Mix a few months ago and absolutely love it. I haven't tried everything that there is to do with it yet, but, with the things I have done, I can tell you that it far outweighs any blender or juicer that I've had. We have used juicers before, but the cleaning process of them caused us not to stick with juicing for very long. Therefore, they always wound up in a cabinet not being used. We happened to be in Costco one night when a gentleman was demonstrating the Vita-Mix. We tasted some of the food that he prepared using the machine and was amazed at how good it was. We liked the idea of a more healthy diet, plus the convenience of the Vita-Mix. My husband and I debated about whether to purchase another machine of this type an decided to make the purchase. We have not regretted it since. We do smoothies for breakfast that take no time at all to make. We've made ice cream in it as well as sauces and soup. The cleanup is a breeze, unlike the juicers...

I was hesitant to spend the cash for a VitaMix mixer even though I was really impressed the the demo I saw at Sam's Club a couple of years back. But when my blender died I gave VitaMix a look and really wanted one. Their website has refurbished 5200s which is their current model at a great price. Also it carries the same warranty as a brand new one. I figured I couldn't go wrong so I ordered one and found a free shipping promo code to boot saving me $25. I was impressed with the fact that VitaMix is made right here in the good ole USA and has been a family run business based in Ohio for years. When my VitaMix arrived it looked brand new and came with a cookbook, instruction manual and demo DVD. I was totally impressed with what it could do. But 3 months later, the motor started to sound funny and a burning smell came from the base and finally the motor stopped altogether. I bought my first "VITA-MIX 3600" out of the classified ads for only $65! They said they paid a lot more money $$$ for this so called fancy "blender!" Which they said they hardly ever used! Calling the Vita-Mix a blender is such an understatement! That's like calling the Grand Canyon a small, tiny little valley! The VITA-MIX is SO MUCH MORE then a common blender...it is the "ROLLS ROYCE" of juicers, blenders, choppers, food processsors, soup makers, smoothie-frozen drinks/ Margarita makers, grain-ice cream maker etc.... it's my #1 kitchen appliance! I found my second VITA-MIX in a box of junk at a garage sale. I traded a $10 rug for that one... which I keep in our RV! (yes, I've been blessed!! TWICE! )

If our house or RV was on fire and it came down to saving either "my wife" or our "VITA-MIX"....I would...mmmmmmmmm... save my wife...as long as she was carrying our VITA-MIX!! It she wasn't.....well here single twin sister loves our VITA-MIX as much as...

Vita Mix pro is fantastic. Now we could enjoy to be vegeterians. Makes soups better than those in best restaurants. Makes perfect drinks. You don't have to be chef to be great cook with this blender. Bought at Metro Kitchen. A bit pricey but it is worth every penny and it is self cleaning.

I love my VitaMix, my mother had one when I was little and she made everything in it from juices to soups and pizza dough. Her original unit is still working today, with no repairs since purchasing it. The VitaMix brand has been around for a while and is reliable company regarding repairs and quality of the unit itself. The unit is a versatile kitchen appliance that I have found to be indespensible in my own kitchen. My VitaMix is easy to clean with water and a squirt of soap, it never has to be put in the dishwasher. Unlike a juicer, the VitaMix breaks down the pulp and solids that a standard juicer would dispose of, so the liquid is smooth, all the nutrients are there along with the fiber and nutritional benefits still remaining in the pulp. I find it odd that more people aren't aware of VitaMix since it's the blender/juicer used on the Food Network's Iron Chef, and can also be seen at the bar in some restaurants because of it's superior ability to crush ice and frozen fruit with...

I had to wait quite a while and save up my pennies to buy a Vitamix and I have not been disappointed!

I use my vitamix every day. It blends until literally smooth. It makes ice cream, nut butters, pancake batter, fruit smoothies that are smooth even after I add flax seed (!), chops hard cheeses that just about killed my food processor, makes soups, grinds grains, does awesome salad dressings without having to chop first, and the pesto - YUM.

My sister went through 6 blenders in less than 2 years until she bought her vitamix. She was burning them out making fruit smoothies - even the smoothie makers! She hasn't had to buy a new blender since she bought her vitamix 4 years ago. My mother swears by hers as well. We ALL love them.

I was unable to use things like frozen peaches in my other blender - they just wouldn't come out smooth. With the vitamix it is a breeze.

The recipe book that comes with the machine is to die for - so many recipes made with whole foods! We don't...

My husband purchased the Vitamix 5000 in October of 2008, right after we saw a demonstration at the Texas State Fair. I wasn't 100% on board of the purchase - as we had other blenders, that I would not use. The first week, he was the only one to use it. I think it was more that he was addicted to using it. I was able to have my chance when Mike went out of town, I was in the mood for a shake, and I took the plunge. Let me tell you - the Vitamix 5000 was as easy as everyone made it seem. The clean up was simple also. I have never had an appliance that was this simple to clean. We have made Shakes, Salsa, and Soup in our Vitamix 5000. My 13 year old daughter made herself a milk shake and cleaned it herself. The most impressive was when my 16 year old son made his own Queso dip in it for Nachos. It's as simple as adding the ingredients that you want, turning the dial. To clean - Rinse it out, fill the container with water and a drop of soap - turn on the Vitamix 5000...
