I just have to say how much I have enjoyed refering to viewpoints on almost every single item I have purchased since I became aware of this web site. I can not imagine ever purchasing another item without first consulting with this site and opions posted here. I am so very grateful to all of these people and their honest opinions about products so that I don't have to make such costly mistakes anymore. Every time I have had questions about anything from hair products, cleaning products, car products, and even pet products, I have turned to viewpoints to figure out the best possible product to buy rather than waste my time and money with trial and error which is basically what I have done all of my life, and let's face it, that's a lot of time and money wasted which nobody can actually afford.

I have reviewed pantene hair products, windex and clorex cleaning products, off products, and Iams pet products just to name a few.

I just think this site is extroidinary and have referred...

Great site with wich you can help others save time by guiding them in the right direction in everyday theins such as great movies, books ect. For example i love to travel to orlando and can help most people know their way around and find great deals!!...

ViewPoints, well, to me, is almost as addicting as blogging on MySpace. I started reviewing today, have reviewed 2 items, and will probably review even more items today. ViewPoints has a fun but simple design, and that, combined with the ability to blog, add friends, and webchat, gives this site it's own touch of uniqueness and style. I give ViewPoints.com a five out of five.

How many times have I posted a comment about how much I love this wonderful community affectionately known as "Viewpoints" or "VP?" Too many to even begin counting now! Well, I just posted a review on AOL, my Internet provider and I saw the review for viewpoints.com I never thought to review the site that I would be posting the review on but here I am!

I joined sk-you.viewpoints.com on August 18th of this year. I had been shopping at Kmart and when given my receipt the cashier suggested I go to the website and take the online survey. I might win a shopping spree. I came home that evening and did the survey and was rerouted to the sk-you.viewpoints website. At first I wasn't sure what I was viewing but I read a few highlights and thought, "This might be something I would enjoy." So, I joined sk-you.viewpoints. Then the fun and confusion began!

Well, this is my 200th review and I am rapidly approaching my 6 month anniversary here at Viewpoints. I thought this might be a fitting place to review this very site:

Great Welcome! CyndiA, my sister, encouraged me to write for Viewpoints when it was just beginning. Frankly, I wasn't so sure about signing up because I didn't tend to put any information about myself on the internet, so I procrastinated for quite a while. After joining, LOTS of other people on this site made a point of welcoming me and giving lots of feedback when I first started. Cyndi and I were even featured in the blog pretty soon after I came on board.
Writing Experience. I've had the opportunity to practice more on my writing skills here at Viewpoints. This has encouraged me to work toward creating my own website, and I've started submitting more of my writing for publishing consideration.
Got the Viewpoints Bug. I wasn't sure if I would be able to find much of anything to review, but now I seem to be constantly snapping...

Viewpoints is relatively new to me, but so far it's been pretty cool. There are so many great things about it. I love how you can review absolutely anything in the whole world. If it's not already listed in their databanks, you can add it. It's great!! So far, I have read tons of reviews, several of which helped me to make purchases I would not othersie have made, because I did not know if I could trust the manufacturere! It also saved me from buying things I would have hated because of unforeseen problems. Thank you, viewpoints reviewers!!!...

I discovered Viewpoints initially through one of MyPoint's campaign. I have written a couple reviews and I like the clean interface and ease of use. The way the websites are categorized makes things easy to find. One of the unique feature of this site is the "I am" tag feature. It allows a user to look for reviews from individuals who shares the same personality or value.

One draw back I found is it doesn't automatically link back to a website if a user enters an url. Instead of simply click on the link to visit the website, a user will have to copy and paste the url individually.

One of the interesting things about many stock phrases - cliches, if you will - is that though some may seem corny and eye-roll inducing, they nevertheless contain a grain or two of truth.

Consider this, Exactly one year ago today, I was writing what was then only my third submitted review here at Viewpoints. Only 11 days earlier I had registered as a member, and I was still trying to find my "writer's niche" in this still-new community of online reviewers.

And - if I may use another cliche - here we are, Gentle Reader, a year later, and it seems though it was only yesterday that I was putting the finishing touches on that review of Star Wars - Episode I: The Phantom Menace. I still remember feeling some apprehension at the time about investing so much of my writing time to a review in a site that was competing with other, more established sites, but I put that bit of negativity away and plowed through the proverbial door of opportunity with enthusiasm...

Okay, the site seems good. But maybe it's due to the promotion with Mypoints, or maybe it's just because people are lazy, but way too many reviews are just taglines, no details. And these average in equally with the full reviews. If all you have to say is "I like it," then you shouldn't be writing a review.

Still, navigation is easy enough, and the site shows promise.

Also, why are you reading a review of the site you're on? You're here - make up your own mind.

I'm doing this bass-ackwards on porpose. I'm adding a foot-note to the top. I'm getting very tired of "Quickie" reviews, here on Viewpoints stating only "I Like It" or "It's Cool". That's not a review. That's a jr. high school kid screwing off. Go do your homework. Half the time, one can't tell what they are supposedly reviewing. One review stated only "very good" about Die Hard. (No photo.) Is it the Sears car battery, or the movie? I couldn't tell. Can you? I'm about ready to jump ship to Yelp.com.

Sound off? You bet I will. Both about this site and some of you out there in cyberspace.

The good: Anyone can review anything. All one has to do is log on, (using a secure web site) create a profile and start reviewing. Most of the time, if you browse around, a picture of the product is already in Viewpoints file. But, I still try to add more if I think it will help. I've written glowing reviews of some products, and not-so-good reviews on others. ...

Viewpoints Website is a great site to visit and it is easy to express your opinions there on many different products. It is not aways easy to get your point across by just taking a multiple choice survey, but this site gives you the opportunity to really say what you think....

Whenever I join a site I look at what they require to join - are they making it easy to join or frustrate you when you are trying to join - and mechanism for finding information.

1. Joining - it is very frustration for sites which have handles or aliases if sites do not let you check if handle is used making you re-enter password information.

2. I looked for a hotel I stayed in recently and rather than listing them by how close they are to where I am located they listed them in some internal order. I tried to refine by location but I could not narrow the search area beyond US.

Also it logged me out when I in middle of first review which does not help my opinion.

Viewpoints is a neat idea. I like to voice my opinion online and especially when you are given the opportunity to earn points, gift certifiicates or money. Well it says that I have to write a longer review but I do not have anything else to say because I just joined and do not know a lot about this website.
