When I saw this product, which is touted as an easy way to get the look of a meesy up-do, I thought it sounded great. But little did I know what pain and frustration was in store for me! I tried for about 45 minutes to decipher and implement the instructions given with this little hair tool! It was not clear AT ALL what you were supposed to DO with the darn thing, and although I tried several different ways, none of them worked. I finally just decided to take it back and get a refund. The hole in the center of the thing was too small to get any hair through, which is what you are supposed to do with it. Also, it would not twist and stay in my hair - it kept falling out. The directions said to make a ponytail and place the thing on top of the ponytail - not sure if that meant on the literal top, or on the back. I tried both, neither worked. This is horrible!I searched THE WHOLE INTERNET! There wasn't anything helpful at all! DO NOT buy this it stinks! The fan tail was a whole waste of time making!

This product "The Fan Tail" SUCKS!!!!! It will make you want to beat the tar out of someone! If you can even get it to attach to your hair by using the clockwise motion, you had better have a buzzer available just so you can shave your hair off after the darned thing gets entangled in it! And the pictures on the package (what a joke)....They show ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This lady needs to be executed for lying on her advertisements!!!!!!! Shes nuts!!!!

About the only thing this would be good for is melting it back down just to watch it disappear!!!! Or just to make something new that actually works for the consumer!!!!

A friend tried helping me get this thing in my hair and we could not do it. Even tried using smaller amounts of hair. Better off leaving this item on the shelf and your money in your pocket. Tried going online to see if there were any tricks for getting it to work better and only found other poor reviews....
