I received a Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier as a gift for my child and have been very pleased with the results after using it when needed for about six months. With this humidifier, you will need to purchase the Vick's liquid medicine to add to the water when you fill the humidifier up each time. I found that for my 20 month old child, the recommended dose on the bottle of Vick's seemed a little bit too strong, so I use about half of the recommended dose each time. It really does work and help clear his breathing when he is lying in his crib at night. My husband has even used this when he is sick, so it is not just for children alone! I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a humidifier to help with breathing when sick from a cold or virus. In the case of my son, I know that I sleep better when using this humidifier whenever he is sick because of how much easier it is for him to breathe!

My boyfriend and I recently moved into a new apartment, and I started feeling bad soonafter. I think that the air in our apartment is really dry and stuffy, and nothing I did seemed to help! We decided that we would try a humidifier, but we didn't really know anything about them. We did some research online and talked to friends, and this Vick's Cool Mist Humidifier not only seemed to get good reviews, but we also had a friend who has one recommend it. We settled on this one because of this and because it's pretty reasonably priced (we got it at Wal-Mart for like $30). We've had it for about 2 weeks now and I love it! We keep it in the bedroom and use it every night while we sleep. I noticed a difference after about 2 days; I had been getting nosebleeds and had really bad sinus trouble, but this has really helped to clear it up. i recently bought a vicks cool mist vaporizer because my husband and i were both sick. this litt machine does an incredible job of humidifying our house. we have even noticed about half the static electricity we usually have. the machine does tend to cause a small damp spot where it blows out the cool vapor, but if you keep it just a few inches away from furniture shelving,etc. it doesn't cause a problem....

This cool mist humidifier is a great deal for the price... easy to use and does what it says it's going to do on the box. Only drawback... the high setting is very loud. You can't even hear someone who is in the same room with you....

I originally bought it for my 4 year old son,who snores,and has bad allergies. It helps me because I am taking chemo meds, and have a dry mouth. It helps us both! I love it, and have recommended to my cousin, who bought one for her sick infant son. Don't put it on a wooden surface though. My husband found out the hard way, and it warped the old table...

I love the cool mist humidifier. It works great on my infant when she has a cough or cold. I would recommend this product to any parent with small children. She sleeps a lot better with the cool mist humidifier when she is sick, she is not up all night coughing or sneezing. It also works great for adults....
