HATE THIS MATTRESS!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! We bought the Serta Vera Wang Love Mattress 4 years ago & at first love, love, loved it. After 4 months it started to slump on both sides. We took it back under warranty & "upgraded" for an additional $200.00. This new mattress at first was great for 6 months but it now also slumps on both sides. We are literally sleeping in a whole. We are not even able to cuddle next to each other because the center of the bed (about a 2 foot strip) is as firm as the day we bought it. You have to "climb up" out of the whole. Because it sinks in the middle, we toss & turn all night, our arms get numb & we wake up with headaches and backaches every morning. Although my husband is 100 pds heavier than me, my side of the bed is worse & we flip a coin or play rock paper scissors almost every night to see who get to sleep on the better of worse side of the bed.

When we complained they would not honor the guarantee because the white mattress...

The Vera Wang comfort mattress is VERY comfortable! At least at first! The price is way too high for the actual quality though. I have had this mattress for just over a year and it is already sagging in the middle, even though I rotate it. I have discovered that I prefer a mattress that you can flip.

I have to admit, this mattress was not my first choice. My husband and I were torn between two mattresses. I wanted a Verlo because the company will repair/replace the mattress during its warranty period, even going so far as to rebuild the mattress if it doesn't hold up to its original standards. My husband wanted a Serta because it's a name he has heard of. He was even more convinced when he found the Vera Wang mattress.

The pilow top is what makes this mattress so comfortable. The fabric is super soft. The cons of this mattress are that you need the super-deep-pocket sheets or you need sheet suspenders to hold them. One aspect that is a pro and a con is that the mattress is not flippable. You can only rotate it. This is supposed to cut down on stirring up allergens but it does result in fewer options for turning the mattress to reduce the wear patterns.

I have had this mattress for over 3 years now. It is still holding up well and I hope it continues to do so.

The Serta Vera Wang Sequins mattress is appalling. I bought it because they said it was made of Talalay latex, which is the best quality material there is. They did tell me that there was a layer of fire-retardant material on top of the latex, which I wanted to remove so I could sleep directly on top of the natural rubber. Today I actually cut open the mattress and discovered that the mattress is made with many layers of artificial foam and one 3/8" layer of latex, which is practically nothing. To advertise it as Latex seems illegal or at least incredibly deceptive. How many people would ever find out, because who wants to cut open a $1400 mattress?

One and a half years after buying the Vera Wang Sweet Touch by Serta, which should be renamed the Vera Wang Will Disintegrate With One Touch by Serta, we are very dissatisfied. The mattress no longer supports any weight in its center and after going to Sleepys 4 times today and calling their customer service at least the same amt of time, I'm never doing business with Serta or Sleepys again. Let me tell you why ... Serta and Sleepys are saying that because the product doesn't visually sag we will not send someone out to inspect it eventhough we offered you a 30 year warranty with the product. Serta made one version of the "Sweet Touch" specifically for Sleepys. We looked online and saw a cheaper version of Vera Wangs Sweet Touch with less latex for $1000 less. We agreed to go with Sleepys version because their warranty and customer service was so promissing. One year and a half later we spent our whole day trying to take care of our problem mattress issue only to come home to...

We have had this Vera Wang Pillow top mattress now for a year, and reading other reviews I'm surprised we're still on it. Within the first week I noticed that there was an indentation where I slept and a different one on the other side where my husband slept. Now, a year later, it's like trying to sleep on the side of a mountain. Rediculous. Don't buy it. Sorry we ever did. Clearly Ms. Wang doesn't investigate the products she endorses.

The serta Vera Wang matress is like no other mattress I've ever slept on. It contours to the shape of my body and takes all of the pressure off my back and joints. I've had problems with sciatica for years and then I got this mattress and except for a couple of flare ups I live virtually pain free. I've never slept better in my life. I love getting into my bed and letting it absorb me. I feel so safe and protected. It's like being hugged by angels.

One of the only downfalls of this mattress is you have to spin it often and switch were you sleep on the bed or else you have a dent which is no big deal because it's your dent and fits your body but when you make the bed it looks silly. Since I don't bring a lot of company in my bedroom I don't really care if I have a dent.

There's one more downfall about this mattress...when you sleep out of town at friends houses or you sleep in a hotel it feels like you're sleeping on a rock after your body gets used to this bed.

After a Simmons World Class Pillow-Top rapidly fell apart on us, (3 months and even the coils were squeaking) we were talked into a Vera Wang Euro-Top. We were told that the mattress was all latex but this isn't true. Only the two higher end versions are all latex. In any event , my husband really liked the bed. He likes a firm feel. I found this the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. It was like torture going to bed at night. I tried three different toppers to ease the discomfort but they all made is worse. Finally went back to a Simmons Plush world class which is comfortable but perhaps too soft. We'll give it a try for a few weeks but may be on to our third (or fourth) bed. Don't get the Vera Wang unless you want a very firm feel or are willing to pay quite a lot for the higher end models. If you want latex I would go with a different hand made model through foamorder.com or I've heard Habitat Furnishings recommended.

Last week I walked into the local Sleep Train to find the perfect mattress. After lying down on several and almost making my mind up - I saw the Vera Wang collection. Dropping my tired body onto one of her mattresses was like floating on a cloud. I loved it! It was even more exciting to hear I could have it delivered the next night - couldn't wait. Well, 2 nights later I was back on my old bed due to a musty smell coming from the mattress. I haven't seen any other reviews about this problem and I hope it's an isolated incident. Has anyone else experienced this? I was really happy about my organic purchase but what's up with the scent????...

Had the mattress about 2 years, I rotated like the directions say. Like other reviews the mattress does not spring back and it develops holes/indentations where you sleep. Not sure if this happens with all latex beds. I slept on a tempurpedic at a hotel and loved it, too bad it is made form petroleum or I would replace my latex.

We bought a store model display Vera Wang pillow top mattress from Gustofson sept 0/8 ,With in a month the mattress developed slopes where you layed.I spoke to the sales person about the problem and she said there was nothing she could do ,So now we have a matteress we can't sleep on.I will never buy from gustofsons again! Yeah I will agree that at first, like the first week, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Then the sag started. Now it's like sleeping in a taco shell. Way too much money for such a poor product. I guess Vera Wang and Serta are laughing all the way to the bank. The mattress is two years old and I stopped sleeping on it a year ago. I now sleep on the couch since I don't have another $2,000+ to drop on a mattress. When I went mattress shopping, I went with my best friend who also bought the same mattress and has the same problem. We both can't wait to get new ones. She jokes that her cat's afraid of falling into the hole so now won't go on her bed. Buyer beware. All your paying for is the name and maybe some bragging rights, you trade off being comfortable and having durability....
