I hate shaving my legs but hate looking like bigfoot even more! The Venus Embrace razor is my lifesaver. With 5 blades I get a quick, smooth shave without razor burn or annoying stubble, and the conditioning strip is awesome. My legs stay smoother longer, which means I don't have to shave as often. My husband says I have legs the gods would die for! I don't worry about nicks and cuts anymore either. The razor is comfortable in my hand and easily controlled, even on the tough areas. Changing the blades is easy and I really like the way the refills are packaged so my hands don't even come in contact with the razor - just push the button to release the old head and slip the handle into the new one! Although the refills can be a bit spendy, I find that I actually spend less on the Venus Embrace refills versus other disposables because the Venus seems to last longer. My husband has even started using the Venus Embrace to shave his face and the difference is amazing! No more...

The Venus Embrace razor provides a very good shave. It leaves your legs smooth and silky. The head of the razor pivots with the curves of your body providing a closer shave. I like the handle of these razors as they fit your hand well and are easy to grip. My daughter and I both have found that this razor meets most of our needs for shaving. No need to worry about this razor getting dull quickly either.

I have been using the Venus Embrace razor for several months now and I have to say that it is by far the best razor I have ever used. I have hair that grows very fast and having to shave all the time starts to become a pain. With the Venus Embrace, I find that I am having to shave less often and that I often have a much closer shave than with other razors. Also, the blades seem to last a lot longer than other razor blades, and they do not seem to rust. I would reccommend this razor to anyone, and have often added it to gift baskets I make for people. I am definitely a Venus Embrace user for life!

My name is Kristen and I wanted to let you know about the Venus Embrace razor!

I had been using a combination of an electric razor for my legs and disposable razors for my armpits, without much satisfaction.

I initially decided to try the Venus Embrace razor sysetm because of my dissatisfaction with the one's I had been using and because I had found a good coupon for it. I'm all about the bargain!

Once I switched, I was hooked right away! This is a fantastic razor!

Firstly, the handle is great...very ergonomic. It's easy to hold onto even with wet slippery hands. It also has a feminine appearance so it can't be easily mixed up with the other razors in my family's shower (I live with my husband and three teenaged boys).

secondly, and of course most importantly, I was thrilled with the close shave I got each and every time. In the six months that I've been using it, I've yet to get even one nick or cut either.

I would reccommend this razor to any wwomen out there...

I am always looking for a good razor, that will give me nice smooth legs and a that I can use more than 1 time. I bought the Venus Embrace because I thought that it would be worth the money in the end. I only got one use out of each razor and then I put them on the razor hanger in my shower with the cover on and when I came to use them a second time, the blades were rusty. I decided to switch back to a cheaper brand that I could only get a few uses out of, but they never rusted.

I loved the shaving with Venus Embrace, it was smooth and gave a good feeling.. .. Until I discovered the rust on the blade the NEXT DAY. I thought it is just one bad product, and bought another one from another drugstore, and got the same result. It got rusty right away. As I said, I loved the feeling, but I love my health more. So no more Venus Embrace for me....

Whoever had the idea at Gillette to make razor cartridges so ridiculously expensive was one smart cookie! Women still buy them regardless of price, myself included! I used to shave with the original Venus until I saw the Gillette Venus Embrace in the store; desperate to find a razor that worked without drying or knicking my skin, I bought it. It boasted:

five blades for extra closeness
a ribbon of moisture to protect skin and
a soft grip handle for ultimate control.

A lot of these features sounded like they could be nonsense but what is a girl to do?

I wanted smooth legs and underarms and I am happy to report that the Venus Embrace razor did not let me down. The wide catridge head helps lessen shaving time and it also minimizes the chances of missing a spot or two [or three]. I was under the impression that the ribbon of moisture didn't do very much, but the other day I ran out of Embrace cartridges and had to use my old Venus razor and ouch! I missed the ribbon...

I purchased the Venus Embrace razor because of a coupon. Little did I know that I would be purchasing the most awesome razor. There is nothing like having a razor-sharp razor with moisturizing strips on either side to remove my hair so easily and flawlessly.

What I was most impressed with was the razor clean up. The backside of the razor does not catch and trap the hair. The most annoying thing is having a razor not be able to remove hair because of excess hair trapped between and behind the blades. You rinse a regular blade and you have to tap the head against something, rinse, etc, and there is STILL hair trapped. Trapped hair will hold moisture and rust blades, making you have to change out the head before its time.

The Venus razor is simple! Shave a usual and lightly rinse. Hair is gone. No tapping needed.

The best part is that it leaves your legs silky smooth!

The Venus Eembrace Razor feels so good aginst your legs, you feel silky and smooth after you are finished shaving. However there is a few down sides. by the end of the day you don't feel like you have shaved at all. With other razors i usually shave once a week and it not bother me. With this razor i feel like i need to shave 3 times a week, i just don't have that much time to do that. My showers are in and out as quick as passable and this really slows me down. Also feel like i can not shave in "certain places" with this razor because of the way the head tilts. good for legs but not much else and that is if you love to shave every day! I give it a 2.

YEAH for this razor!!!! sorry im so happy i finally tried this...i kept seeing it on tv and was like yeah right it will never work..nothing does.i always end up cut myself and yes i do it alot..i've been using this razor for about 4 months now..haven't cut myself one...YEah for me...im truely in love..haha i love the shave gel bars they make my skin feel soft and smooth, it smells really good too. and i feel truely better about myself now..i wear skirts and shorts all the time and not affaid of my husband rubbing up against my legs...its nice not having to worry and another plus is it shaves for clothes i don't have to shave as much..so it all adds up to use this razor soft, smooth, smells great, no cuts not a bump no razor burn nothing but good comes from this...and the razor looks cute too..and the changable heads are extremely easy to remove, trash and replace with a new one..if i were you and don't have one i would go get one now its great...

The Venus Embrace is an awesome razor. I love the ease of use, and the excellent one-stroke-needed smoothness it delivers. The only drawback I have found, is that the blades seem to dull much faster than the original 3-blade Venus. Even so, I will buy The Embrace again when there is a discount, such as a sale or if I have coupon.

The Venus Embrace shaver is the best razor I have ever used. It is light weight and easy to use, leaves you smooth in which ever area you use it on, (underarms, legs, etc.)It also has non slip grips ,which makes it easier to handle, even in the shower.

My Venus embrace razor was actually a freebie through the mail. I like getting freebies, this way you can determine if you want to put the money out for new items. I buy disposable razors all the time and they don't seem to last for more then 2 or 3 shaves. However, i believe I probably got about 8 or more really smooth, no nick shaves from theVenus Embrace.

I absolutely love the Venus Embrace Razor! It has just the right shape so it doesn't slip out of your hands while you are shaving your legs. My preference when picking personal things for myself is always to go with feminine colors and things that are prissy, and i think this was truly pulled off by the Venus embrace Razor. Gosh,This is the first time in my 54 years that I shaved my legs and did not feel like I was donating blood! I never fail to nick my ankles, my knees, or the long stretch of shiny skin on your shins! Then when i get out of the shower it looks like a murder took place from the bleeding. That's not...

The Venus Embrace boosted my confidence level ! I have always had extremely sensitive skin and have suffered for years from rashes, bumps, and irritation after shaving. I was always the girl wearing capris in the hot summer sun because my skin was red and irritated. Along came the Venus Embrace and it changed my life !

I must admit at first I was hesitant, afterall I had spent hundreds of dollars tyring to get that smooth just shaved feeling without the red irritated after "GLOW". A glow that was truly unwelcomed. I decided to give it a whirl.

The first thing I noticed was the five blades neatly aligned and ready to do it's job ! Surely these five blades were going to cause 5x the trouble for me ! Just the opposite ! The five blades gave me not only a close shave like no other but the biggest bonus of all was... I HAD NO BURN, REDNESS, OR IRRITATION AFTERWARDS ! An hour after my initial first shave with the Venus Embrace I was still waiting...Waiting for that unwelcomed "AFTERGLOW"....
