We used several of these colors to paint our living room. They went on smooth and the lighter colors only needed one coat of the "premium" eggshell type. The darker color did need a second coat but it dries pretty quickly so we were able to accomplish it in one day!

I was very, very disappointed in this product! I usually buy the cheap $10/gal stuff at Wal-Mart but REALLY didn't have time or the energy to put a second coat on so I decided to spend the extra money and bought the more expensive $26/gal Valspar paint at Lowe's to try to save time and trouble. I was extremely disappointed! I was going from an off-white to a tan....not a lot of change so you would think that it would cover good...I was wrong. I put the paint on as thick as I possibly could and still had to put a second coat on probably 75% of the room. I think one of the things that irritates me the most is that I specifically asked the person mixing my paint if this was one coat paint and she said since I was just going from off-white to tan it should do really good. I will not spend the extra money on this paint again. If I have to paint twice I may as well pay half as much or do some research and buy some paint that really is one coat paint!

This brand offers poor coverage. And the paint peels after just a few weeks. Spend the extra money and get a brand you know.

I purchased the Valspar paint for masonry. The price was compariable to other masonry paint. The Valspar paint was purchased for my basement floor. When using the paint I noticed that the paint went on very smoothly and covered the floor easily. The Valspar paint was also very easy to clean up off the brushes and off the hands. It was so easy that I was even able to have my 7 year old daughter and 11 year old son help with the painting and the clean up and I did not have to worry about the floor not being covered properly and also not having to worry about clean up. I did not have to use any strong chemicals to clean up the brushes and the children, because of this the kids had a great time and my project got done in half the time. The paint was also very quick drying so I didn't have to worry about not being able to be on the floor for long periods of time, within an hour or two I was able to put stuff back on the floor. I've bought Valspar paint for years and it was only after a momentary switch to another brand that made me appreciate it all the more. I recently repainted my living room from a moss green to cream with a blue accent wall. I picked to shades from Lowe's Valspar brand of paint and love them. The paint was thick and covered the green with absolutely no problem at all. The cream took an additional coat but I had expected that as the green was a medium hue.

The only problem I had was the ditsy salesperson I started with at Lowe's but she passed the buck to someone else when she couldn't answer any of my paint questions.

Valspar paint has such a nice, thick texture. It looks rich on the walls and is holding up nicely. The trim work with brushes went on easily, as well a when we used the roller. It didn't drip or run when it was put on the walls, and you couldn't see any brush or roller marks after it dried.

I highly recommend this brand and will continue to use it.

I bought this paint at Lowes. The associate recommended this paint for my bathroom remodel. It is mold resistant, easy to clean and has a satin finish. The room looks great!! The satin finish is perfect for a small bathroom and 6 months later, it still looks new.

Love this paint....

I have used gallon after gallon of this paint without any problems. It goes nicely on the wall and the coverage is good. There are a fantastic amount of colours to choose from and each come with several different sheens.

I actually bought 5 gallons of this paint 3 years ago and still have some left, the colour and texture are still the same as the day I bought it. I have tried several different brands of interior paint, but I keep coming back to Valspar.

Some of the problems with the other brands are too watery, dry too quick, don't go on the wall smoothly or are difficult to clean up. This has never been the case with Valspar. Clean up has always been a breeze, whether it's rollers or brushes this paint will wash out easily. Once on the walls the paint is durable and easy to keep clean and looking like new too. I most often use the satin or eggshell since I have young kids and walls often need a clean or touch up!

My husband and I decided to have all the interior of our home painted at one time. Valspar Signature colors at Lowe's seemed like the best value for $30/gallon. We chose Linen for our living areas and Kraft Paper for the hallway and two of the bedrooms. Every room has required two coats of this "one coat" paint. The rep said that the problem was the age of the previous paint job. He also said that if the walls had been primed , one coat would have been enough. We will never know, because the second coats were already applied. If you buy this paint, be prepared to do an over the top prep job before applying the paint. Might as well go with less expensive paint, if primer is required....

Over the course of the last 5-7 years, my husband and I have used only Valspar paints on both interior and exterior surfaces of our homes. After trying other brands previously, we found the Valspar paint brand to splatter less, cover better, and look great! Valspar's "American Traditions" is the type we use most often on the interior of our home. It's always done a terrific job for us. We use satin on the walls and semi-gloss on the trim work.

As for the exterior of the house, I believe we used Valspar's DuraMax exterior paint in Satin and the Semi-gloss on the trim. It's...
