Sally's Beauty Supply quit making the best eyeshadow primer around, so I decided to try the highly recommended and reviewed Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer. A lot more pricey than Sally's brand by at least $10, but I was unable to find one I was happy with. I purchased this at Ulta Beauty Supply for the high price of $18. All the sales ladies said it was the best and I was tired of looking, so I bought it. It does a really good job, but does not compare to the old Sally's brand. It has what I call a "chalky" type cream that has to be rubbed on with a finger even though there is an applicator. The eyeliner goes on pretty smooth and the eyeshadow too. They both hold out as good as a 4 star rating, but I really don't like the after feel on my screen when it needs to be removed. It still makes my skin feel strange, but then I'm a redhead and have a lot of sensitivity issues with perfumes, lotions and make-up. I started using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion about six months ago. I use it daily. The Primer Potion keeps my shadow on all day, keeps it from creasing, and makes my color shine bright. I usually only put it on the crease of my eye, and then spread it on my eye lid. The creamy texture is comfortable on my eyelid and stays put. I love how it makes the eyeshadow color really pop, more so than the color would without it. The color lasts literally all day, and it never fades. The only complaint I have about Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion is that it is fairly expensive. But luckily, a little goes a long way, and the product lasts a very long time. I have only bought one tube of it, and it has lasted me about six months. I use it nearly everyday, so to me this is a very good deal. I'm willing to pay a little extra for a product that will do so much for me, and last for so a long time.

This product( Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion) is the only thing I've ever used that does what it's advertised to do. Your eyeshadow will stay on no matter what, and it will not crease. my eyeshadow was still just as it was when I applied it. It also makes the color of your eyeshadow truer because it provides a base. I would however suggest applying it with your finger. I feel too much comes out on the wand.The shadow stays on until you take it off and stays crease free, too! The primer enhances the shadow color also. I am glad I purchased two tubes. Urban Decay Primer Potion is a great starting point for your eye make up. The Primer Potion is used as an eye shadow base that keeps your eyeshadow on for hours without creasing or smudging. It also intensifies your eye shadow colors, which means you don't have to layer on as a much to get your desired color, meaning your eye shadows last longer.

Apply the Primer Potion to your eye area after moisturizing. After it has dried you can then start applying your eye shadows and be sure to blend your shadows together well. I have found that I need to use less shadow and it lasts all day. Before my eyeshadow must have lasted a couple of hours, tops, and then would disappear. Urban Decay Primer Potion is by far the BEST eyeshadow primer product I have ever used. It comes in a great neutral skin toned shade, so you can barely see it after it settles and dries. It glides and smooths across the eyelid almost effortlessly. I wear make up daily so I know a thing or two about eyeshadow and the annoyance of fall-outs or creases throughout the day. When I use Urban Decay Primer Potion my eyeshadow not only goes on my eyes easier, but stays on MUCH longer, and there is absolutely no creasing at all. It not only retains the shadow on your lid, but makes the color POP.I love the fact that this product is waterproof. I can jump into a pool with my make up on and when I get out of the water my eye make up has not in the least even smudged, I love it! It is a little difficult to remove once it is applied and has dried, but a baby wipe or makeup remover towelette works pretty well. I would recommend Urban Decay Primer Potion to ANYONE.

Urban Decay Primer Potion is a little miracle in a bottle. Who hasn't wished that their eyeshadow would last all day, crease free? Well this is the answer to that wish. Just apply the tiniest bit from the little doe foot applicator and tap gentling onto your eyelid. Wait about 20-30 seconds and begin applying your eyeshadows. This stuff will transform even cheap drugstore shadows and make them look brighter than you ever thought that could. Also it prevents any creasing so your eyemakeup is sure to look as fresh at the end of the day as it did at the beginning. The best part about this product is the value- it will last you a good 6 months to a year. In fact it may even last longer- there is product hidden on the sides and bottom that you can get to by removing the little clear plastic ring at the top....and then you can also cut the bottle in half to get the stuff hidding in the bottom. Check out youtube for a tutorial to see how to do this easily.

I never go out of the house with this stuff on. It is absloutely incredible. My eyeshadow will last over 12 hours with out a crease or smudge! I can not recommend a better product. Ulta.com now sells a larger size bottle that will save you some money in the long run. Totally worth the purchase, you won't be dissapointed with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Urban Decay's Primer potion is a huge lifesaver. It makes any other brand of eyeshadow stay on better and makes the colors more vibrant. It doesnt matter if its Mac, Maybelline, or Wet n Wild it all looks the same once you use the primer. It doesnt take a lot of the solution and its not greasy or messy for real. The best place to get this product is from Sephora and its not expensive at all. The urban decay brand itself is the best cosmetics brand put out its just a little too expensive for me. Thats why I go to walmart for the rest of my makeup.

urban decay primer potion is great i have oily eyelids and i never knew how to get my eyeshadow to last all day i used macs prep and prime and it lasted longer but still creases way 2 early then i was introduced to udpp and now i dont have the creasing eyeshadow i love it i wud never dare to put eyeshadow on with out this first personally i use it for 2 reasons wen applied under eyeshadow it allows the true color of the shadow to show up the shadow looks more vibrate and ur shadow will last u till the next day i once slept with out washing my eye makeup and i woke up and my shaod was still there with no smudge i love love love this product...

I can't keep eye makeup on my eyes. Eye shadow just absorbs into my skin. I've tried lots of products that claim to keep shadow on for hours. None have worked. One day while in Saphora a sales girl recommend Urban Decay Eye shadow Primer Potion. I thought, sure, I'll try it. I've tried everything else, why not. To my amazement it worked!! I saw an immediate difference. My eye shadow went on smooth and the color was so rich. You could actually see it. Like I mentioned, color absorbs into me. Color never shows on my eyes. Except this time, I could see the color. 12 hours later, my eyes still looked great. I've been using it for three years now....
