The Uniden phone is awesome for a large family. The phone comes with 4 phones in total and the extra 3 just plug in to work. You can page your kids from any room in the house, which I find really great. I have been using this brand of phone for 10 years and they have never let me down yet. I love the head phones that come with it and I love the belt clip, it makes for great no hands talking. I have even used the belt clip and head phones while exercising, to talk. You can also check and manage your messages from any of the 4 phones. Which I find very handy.

I love the fact that this Uniden has 4 handsets. There is no echo, like my other cordless had, this is a clean, static free sound. Easy to hold and it cradles easy on your shoulder.

Get a different phone. I mean, this one is great at first, but when the down button stops working, it sucks. As far as I know, you can have four handets. They all have speaker capabilities, which is awesome for our use. But there is no caller ID or numbers on the base. So you can answer on the base, but not make calls. The answering machine is very intuitive and easy to use. We have yet to figure out how to use the speed dial. We've had this phone for less than a year and have already had to replace one of the handsets for the down button not working, and it cost us $10 to replace it under the warranty. Now all of them are broken, which makes clearly hearing what is being said ridiculously difficult. It's all distorted because I can't turn the volume down!!! I find myself holding the phone away from my ear, and I still have difficulty discerning certain words. Not fun. On the plus side, the belt clip is extremely durable. To sum it all up, the phone is pretty, but generally useless after......
