What is it with ABC and this show. For months now 'BETTY' has either been pre-empted by a sports show or new sitcome. It has also been put on hiatus and moved to a different airing night. It never ends! This show deserves more respect.

Ugly Betty is a comedy show that will have you rooting for the underdog. It airs on Thursday nights at 8pm on ABC and there is so much drama you won't want to change the channel. The main character is a hispanic girl Betty who got a job at a high fashion magazine and isn't afraid of being herself and doing things her way. She has a great relationship with her boss who originally only worked with her after his father hired her to spite him. There is a good versus evil contest between Betty and her boss and the ice queen Wilhemina who wants to take over the magazine and will do whatever she can to succeed. The show not only revolves around drama in the workplace, but also the drama within Betty's quirky family and outside relationships. This show will make you laugh and make you cry, and will have you hoping each week that Betty will succeed and not be humiliated in front of her peers....

Ugly Betty is a great show. It has drama, suspense and comedy. The cast is phenuamenal.

Everyone should watch this show. It keeps you hanging on every episode and counting the minutes till a nother episode airs. Everyone should has a inner Ugly Betty in themselves. This show makes you root for the underdog and love all the "vilians". The show is full of colorful characters. all the men are hottties. You will fall in love with ugly betty.

It took me awhile before I decided to give this show a try. The commercials always seemed like it was too "campy" for me. But I really enjoy the Actress America Ferrera so I decided to give it a try. While laughing my head off and enjoying the way Betty handles herself I realized that being a "campy" show isn't necessarily a bad thing. While watching the show I did frequently ask myself when would all of this happen to one person? Then I reminded myself it's just a tv show and not to take it so seriously. Believable or not the show is hilarious and if your looking for a funny show with an eclectic cast who have very good comedic timing and great acting skills this is a show you should give a chance....

I just love this show. I can't wait to watch it every week, not many shows make you laugh, cry, and genuinely care about the characters like this show does. I think it is great what they have done for America, she was not a size 0 yet she is beautiful in her own way and that is another reason I love this show. I can't wait to see where they go next. The only thing that kind of bothers me is the way out there scenes, I'm not a big fan of fantasy and this can be a little far fetched at times. Keep up the good work Ugly Betty!...

The cast of the show keeps you gussing what is going to happen next, I never thought claire would go back to jail or that Wilemina could be any more a witch than she already was. Vanissa Williams is such a beautiful woman and a great actor. I remenber when she was Miss America, I didn't think she was that cute then but she came a long way. Betty's nephew is growing and maturing very quickly. Last night was a repeat and I was very disappointed, Looking foreward to next week its a new program...

I started watching the show when it first came on, and I wasn't sure what the show would be like when it first came on.

Immediately, I fell in love with the show. It has a very diverse cast. The humor can be for a lot of different ages. Plus, there is something in it for everyone. It mostly always has a moral to every story and you can relate to a majority of the cast in it. The scripts are always well-written and it always seems to suck you in to watch the next episode to find out what is going to happen next.

I would reccomend this show to anyone that likes a comedy show that also has heart.

Ugly Betty what a show. I have seen other ugly betty's the spanish version, but this one in particular it's great, diffrent, exciting, amazing. It's has many controversy with all the characters in the show it's not only about betty. It's full of comedy, tragedies, sadness, happiness and suspense. They are well open minded and it give the opportunity to other things like the sex change and other things that are happening now in our time. Well It's a great show. Don't miss it still on air. ...

This funny show will entertain you will slipping a societal concern into the plot. Problems with drug costs, immigration, familial responsibility, and acceptance of oneself have shown up. An enjoyable hour even with the beyond-believable plots. If you enjoy off-beat shows, this is the one for you....

The show started out with a bang but after about 3 episodes it just kind of went blah. I stopped watching because it got to oh hum and lost its being just funny. I think the writers are just getting to serious and kind of like a pre program mode like in life and people want a show to get out of the ho hum life.

Ugly Betty is one of my favorite shows. It is on at 8 pm on Thursday nights on ABC, and it just started its second season. Betty is the main character who is Hispanic and not a size two who works as an assistant at a fashion magazine named Mode. She is not very fashionable with her glasses and braces so she is the fish out of water at a magazine where everyone is thin and vain. In contrast, Betty's home in Queens is down-to-earth with her father, sister, and nephew. Newly out of the college, Betty hopes to run her own magazine one day and proves herself to be smarter than her boss, the owner's son, Daniel Meade. The show is based on a Spanish telenovela so it is very soapy and campy. For example, Daniel's sister used to be his brother, and Wilhelmina, one of the editors, is such a villain the fireplace burns brighter when she is around.

American Ferrara as Betty is the heart and soul of the show. I also love the characters of Amanda played by Becky Newton and Marc played by Michael Urie....
