I just felt it lost the "genese quois" from the book. The book was amazing but the movie just fell short. The ending pissed me off mostly. It just left off there without any explanation. Plus the character for Bella Swan just got on my nerves, she just came off as some needy, tomboy bitch. I didn't blame edward for wanting to leave her. And Taylor Lautner as the werewolf? Awesome choice but his hair just looks too weird. I love Jasper with his intense look of constipation. Had me laughing for most of the movie</p>... It gives you less of what's really going on between Bella and Edward to make you understand why she fill in love with him. The book itself gives a better discription in many ways. I guess in most cases, when you here things like the book is always better then the movie, thier usely right about 90% of the time.</p> <p>Kristen Stewart isn't really the best actress for this roll, They needed someone that could act a little better in the roll of Bella. But, now that she is, we get to deal with her in all the rest of the movies. Robert Pattinson is actually the perfect actor for Edward. He's cute, handsome and has some acting experience from having a roll in the Harry Potter movies, tell they killed him off.</p> <p>But, if you do buy the dvd in the store, get the two-disk special edition if you can. It gives you a seven part documentary on how the movie was created, some scenes that were deleted from the film. It will fill in some things.</p> <p>Over all, I hope...</p>... I love Edward as much as the next person. But I HATED the movie! I think they did a good job making some of the characters look how I envisioned them. I know that's probably really tough to do since everyone has a different vision. So they did pretty good in that aspect. But the acting was terrible! Nothing felt real, only like it was being read from a script. And most of the time the acting didn't give the scenes justice. Robert Pattinson once said in an interview that he hadn't even read the books! Edward is the dream guy to almost every girl, woman, mother, child...ANYONE who's read the books, and Mr. Pattinson didn't even try to read it and study his part that he's portraying! That's really nothing any actor/actress should brag about because I think studying and engulfing yourself into a role sets apart a good actor from a bad one. Also I think the special effects (ie. Edward glistening in the sun) were terrible, definately low budget. And seeing how big the...</p>... The actors were fine, but the whole story line....where in the book does Bella ever eat at a diner??  I will not spoil anything else, but the ending in the movie did not have to be dramatized as it was...it was perfect in the book and was even a little more intriguing.  Parts that should have been drawn out were cute and vice versa.  I cannot wait for the new movie with the new director to see if they stay closer to the actual plot of the book.</p>...
