Sorry to say the tiller has been in the shop more than my garden. The service man says the carburetors do not last a long time. I have to agree. I have had this machine for 3 years an it has been in the shop each year. I like the cultivator very much. The most prominent problem I have had is running the machine for a while, shutting it off to rest myself and not being able to get the machine to start again. Oh well maybe I run it too hard. I really do like the fact that the machine is 4 cycle. I do not have to mix oil with the gas. As long as it runs, it does a very good job.</p>... This machine was not cheap, but since I know how to garden and love it and will be doing a lot of ground prep in the years to come, well he gave in. On the initial start-up (which my husband did-but was hard for him) it worked fine. Mind you I have owned a much larger tiller in years past so I am no dummy to tillering! But, when he wasn't here I could not get it started! I tried and tried and wound up hurting my hand in the process. The whole pull the rope and hold your foot on it is just not for me or women for the matter. My husband being a man is much more stronger and he even had trouble with it. I can start a lawnmower just fine, but this thing is a lot smaller and it's difficult. I'm not dogging the company name just this particular machine wasn't for ME.
