We started with Travelers almost 2 years ago and do not plan to change anytime soon! The customer service is excellent. We first had our vehicles insured through Travelers, and getting set up was extremely easy. Any time I had questions regarding the paperwork, someone was there to take me through it step by step. We have had other insurance companies in the past, but none that can meet the kind of patience and attention that we get at Travelers. There is also a website available where you can download any documents you may have lost or misplaced. The website also offers you a way to pay your bill online, which cuts down a trip to the postoffice, or even trying to find a stamp! When we added our home insurance to this company, we not only got a discount, but the professional help didn't waiver. I am very disappointed in this company I have had them for as long as I have owned my home they are really a poor excuse for a homeowner insurance company everytime I try to file a claim they find something wrong with the problem. It is either not a claim for the company or the the problem is not insurance problem it is from the age of the house or they have never seen anything like it before and they are sorry but the problem is all on you to take care of and they are sorry for the inconvience and if there is any thing else they can doo please let them know the company is Travelers Insurance compay through

American National. I have a problem right now in my home that has messed up the wall in my cabinet in my kitchen the adjuster says that it was from a leak from the plummering that was behind the wall of the cabinet that a person would have know way of know that the problem was there because of the location behind the wall of the cabinet. so how would I know lf the plummering...

I have Travelers Home owner insurance through Geico Ins. It's over 8 months since I had a house fire ( January 2009) and to this day (9/30/09)Travelers still hasn't finished settling my claim. Travelers are so cold and unfeeling, I've been through a real tragedy, a hardship, I have not been able to live in my house these past 8+ months. The stress from all of this has been making me sick. I made it this far only because of help from friends and family. I couldn't afforded to pay for the reconstruction/repairs myself but even if I could've I was told by the Travelers Insurance Co. that I can't make repairs incase they need to re-inspect the property. So I'm at Travelers mercy, which they've shown me none. I've even filed a complaint against Travelers Insurance Co. and the adjuster with the NYS Ins. Dept. but all they did was forward my complaint to Travelers. Travelers weren't concerned, It seems that the NYS INS. Dept. have no real power or they don't care. About 3 weeks ago I received......

I lost my house to a fire and couldn't save anything. For some reason I can never get ahold of anyone and when I leave messages no one calls back. I have talked to a supervisor but that was a waste of time. I am still waiting for my claim to get processed and it has been 4 months. Appearently their claims agents are very busy doing everything else but their job. Travelers has made a dark time for my family worse. The price is great but trust me when you go through something like this the last thing you want to do is talk to lawyers about your insurance company....

Traveler's Insurance Company has been terrific in providing automobile and homeowner's insurance for my family. We had been insured through another company for about five or six years and we recently changed to Traveler's in an effort to find better and more competitive rates. We have been insured by Traveler's for about eight months now and we have been pleasantly surprised by both their competitive rates, and also their wonderful customer service, although I do have to say upfront that we have not had to file a claim on either our homeowner's or automobile policies.

By switching to travelers we saved about 700 dollars over the course of one year, or to put it another way reduced our montly payments by about 60 dollars per month, and that was just on the auto policy. On our homeowners we saves about one hundred dollars for the year. When we have contacted the companies with questions they have responded quickly and thoroughly and with very short wait times on the phone.

I joined with them 6 months ago and already they have significantly jacked up the premium with no accidents on my part. They don't really understand the concept of customer appreciation and loyalty....

The customer service representative helped me figure out how much coverage I needed. Without the discount that I receive as a result of being a state employee, the pricing wouldn't be competitive. However, with the discount, the price is great....

Travelers Group is not a company that I really trust. A few years ago back in 2001, my car was stolen out of McDonald's parking lot in Hartsville, SC. Travelers wouldn't pay for the damages that was created after I found the car striped of parts, mainly the high tech motor that was installed in the car at the time of purchased.

The local police did whatever they could to help me with my case. When I received my car, the motor was stolen, and the front wheel axles were damaged severely. All other parts to the car where found in the trunk of the car. The worst of the problem was where I found my car. I found the car in Bishopville, SC.

When I contacted Travelers about this situation, the representative had a very negative attitude. The representative was uncooperative. As you well can imagine, I was frustrated as well as aggrevated. They fabricated lies stating that people in my neighborhood called them and told them that I ditched my car, etc. No one in my neighborhood...
