i am a children's therapist and definite concerns about this movie. It's marketed towards kids but content is not sutable for them. the makers need to try again. This movie and the sequel are very popular with children right now as they should be. these are toys marketed for children but the movies have lots of sex and violence. multiple studies have shown the effects of exposing children to violence. this is just a very bad idea. i am not a crazy zealot about being overprotective but movies like this are the reason children have increased aggression these days. Now the graphics are cool and story is fun but this is just inappropriate for children to see. Let them watch the cartoon and buy the toys and even the storyline is good. good vs evil. good has less people but prevails despite evil's increased strength and numbers in battle. teach the kids the lesson about the storyline and even buy the toys but avoid the movie for kids.

WE JUST WATCHED THE NEW TRANSFORMERS AND IF WE HAD A SMALLCHILD HERE AT THE TIME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY EMBARRASSING,THERE IS ALOT OF CUSSING IN THIS MOVIE NOT FOR A CHILD,THE MOVIE HAS GREAT ACTION GREAT COLOR BUT IT SHOULD BE MORE PLAIN ABOUT THE LANGUAGE THAT IS USED IN IT,I WAS SHOCKED I THOUGHT THIS WAS MORE FOCASED ON A CHILDS POINT OF VIEW BUT IT IS NOT

When I first saw the teaser trailer for the live-action film version of Transformers, I rolled my eyes. I'd seen the cartoon as a kid, though I'd never been a big fan. I knew who Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream were, and thought that the idea of alien robots transforming into everyday vehicles was pretty cool, but I didn't see how that could translate to a good, live-action film. I was expecting something really bad.

Then I saw the next, longer trailer. It actually looked halfway decent. I thought that maybe the film would be okay. Later I saw yet another trailer, and decided that I actually wanted to see the film.

So perhaps it was due to my very low expectations that I ended up absolutely loving this film. The Autobots and Decepticons were brought to very realistic life with well done CGI. The action sequences were fun and breath-taking. The plot was actually pretty darn good, as was the acting by both the human actors and the voice actors. A big...

My kids loved it. My son is almost 6 and really into transformers right now. I loved the graphics and the story was entertaining. Alot of action, with just enough comedy mixed in....

The indiana jones movie i think was the best movie yet. There was so much action, it was just perfect. I cant wait til the next one comes out. what will he come out with next. when will the next one come out? THIS YEAR!!! ???????????????????????? i WENT AND SAW THE MOVIE IN THE MOVIES AND JUST SEEING ALL TGHE ACTION ON A BIG SCREEN WAS AWESOME.

We just got the Transformers DVD for blue-ray because we just got a PS3 - put that on our 58" panasonic hdtv and it's like we were on the set of the filming. The movie is funny and keeps you on your feet. Throw in the Transfomers sound you remember from the tv show and it's like your a little kid without a care in the world. Shia Labouf is so funny and Meghan fox is so pretty - their chemistry together is really enjoyable. CAN'T WAIT til the new movie in 2009 - I'll go to the theater and buy on blue-ray!!!

Transformers was an excellent movie! I watched it on Blue Ray on the ship and made the decision, right then, to get a PS-3 in order to have a Blue Ray player.

My kids and I watched it underway and it was very fun.

I like the voices, LOVED the soundtrack, and the special effects were top notch.

Stretched the family values just a touch, need to explain some things to my 12 year old son now.

I liked how it completed this movie well, but left it open for a second movie.

The girl actress did well at portraying a shallow teenager. The boy a GREAT actor, loved him in Transformers AND Indiana Jones.

The mom in the show stole the show at times, she was SOO funny. The main alien division cop was great also.

Ok, so I thought that I wasn't going to like this movie, but was I surprised. Yes, the plot is a little thin, but the movie is so much freakin fun you can totally see pass that. The special effects were out of this world, and this movie turned me into a Shia fan. He was so genuine and comedic that I completely love him now!...

"Transformers" was a movie I was scared to watch, as I didn't want my childhood ruined. It turned out to be one of the best action flicks I have ever seen. The effects are amazing, the acting does its job, and the score is incredible. It is a movie about giant robots fighting an interstellar war. It has Megan Fox looking incredibly hot. What more could you possibly want in a movie?

I wasn't sure what to expect when my husband insisted we go see this movie. I will confess that I generally like the sci-fi/comic book type of movies, so I figured this would be good. I was really surprised by how good it is. There were some moments that I was lost since I didn't know the characters from childhood and there were some references I missed, but it was really funny in parts and obviously action-packed. Overall, I really liked it and am ready for the next one....

i am use to the older one when it was the cartoon to believe just like all the other old cartoons that are making a come back they almost have everything covered the cars were awesome the story line was the same if i remember correctly nothing really surprizes me when it comes to movies after i watched it i got in the mail my handicapped son enjoyed it along with me and my boyfriend he is so attached to my son an vice versa really a good movie i will watch again think i missed somethings as usual

I thought it had a lot of action and was amazingly cost to the animated version. I was quite impressed. My children loved it too. Most adults who didn't just love it didn't understand it. They were not familiar with the cartoon. Transformers has always been for children and I have always been a fan. I think the screenwriters did an excellent job of bringing the cartoon to life....

I was very excited when this movie came out because I had a lot of Transformer toys as a kid and watched the cartoon.

I thought the movie lived up to the hype. Great action, acting, and story line. Some of the CGI is groundbreaking and is a great "popcorn" movie.

I know they are making a sequel and I can't wait. Go see it it if you haven't already.
