http://www.viewpoints.com/Transformers-Revenge-of-the-Fallen-reviews Sun, 22 Nov 2009 07:09:09 GMT Latest reviews about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen http://www.viewpoints.com/Transformers-Revenge-of-the-Fallen-review-cc590 <p>I loved Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen!!  This movie made me laugh, made me cry and had me sitting on the edge of my seat.  It was totally entertaining and that is what I go for in a movie.  The characters and plot are of course totally unlikely to be real but that is what I want in a movie.  I want to be entertained, not think about real life.  I routed for the robots and the main characters and booed the bad robots.  I cried when Optimus "died" and the main character "died", I laughed at the dogs and the hilarious things said by the characters and I sat on the edge of my seat with my breath held during the battle between the good guys and the bad guys.  I loved the movie so much that I bought it on blue ray and will watch it over and over again.  Even the dog made me laugh with his shinanigans!!  And I felt for the girl every time the main character didn't get a chance to say I love you.  If you just want to be entertained, this is a great movie!</p>... A great sequel to the first movie, it is a great movie that has something for everyone, including action, comedy and romance. The plot and storyline can be a bit of a stretch at times but the special effects and action definitely make up for what the plot lacks. I went to see it in the theater and was definitely impressed and satisfied with the experience. If you liked the first movie then you will almost certainly enjoy this one. I recommend it to anyone who has not yet seen it.</p>... I love a good action film and <em><strong>Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen</strong></em> is a good, fun action film. But this movie was slammed by the critics even after it became the highest grossing film of the summer. They missed one crucial point about this movie. This is a movie about a TOY! How can anyone expect it to be more that it was. They slammed the actors but they were just what the script called for. They needed a female lead that is HOT. Megan Fox on a motor cycle meets this requirement. They need a male lead who keeps being put in totally unreal situations and somehow manages to come through. Shia LaBeouf meets this requirement while providing a combination of laughs and crazy stunts. There is eye candy for the men so it might be nice to have eye candy for the women. Josh Duhamel fits this category and is very likable at the same time. And finally the special affects. The Transformers. They were amazingly done. The details,...</p>... Its a definite collector's item that needs to be in every transformers buff collection!!! This dvd is NOT a disappointment and a great gift idea!!</p> <p>Shia LeBouf and Megan Fox return to bring us another actionpacked movie along with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Continuing with the storyline from the first movie as they head off to college and end up inthis great action packed and amazing special effects in saving the world from evil domination from the evil decepticons. I was excited I couldn't wait.   The day we left to see it I could hardly wait to get up to the nearest movie theater. </p> <p>The movie was amazing.  I thought it was so much better then the first one. Gets the movie going in the right direction. However, the moment they introduce Megan Fox into the movie, it begins to go over the top. I would like to remind the readers, this is a movie based on a kids toy. It should have been targeted to the kids, with some action excitement for the adults. This trend in Hollywood is going over the top. When you have a young lady wearing "daisy duke" shorts straddling a motorcycle, for no other reason then to stimulate the men and young boys in the audience, THATS A PROBLEM. It doesn't add to the story, it takes away. Then we wonder why our society is so sex crazed. Or how about the little mini robot humping the leg of Miss Fox. NOt at all necessary. Lacking a complicated plot or storyline is key in this movie. Everyone can understand it, everyone can relate and everyone favors the little guy. The end kind of reminded me of watching a Pokemon movie which believe it or not I'm a great fan of. It's seeing the small, unimportant guy who nobody believes in triumph over this great evil power that's got incredible odds stacked up in its favor. It's basically David beating Goliath.</p> <p>SImple message, great movie. The action is non-stop and touches upon transitions from high school to college which almost everyone can relate to. The special effects once again are large-scale and unbelievable. If you're planning to watch a dramatic award winner, this is not the movie to go to. The story line was great, kept you on the edge of your seat. I was very pleased that it exceeded the first movie. Had all the same main characters in the film. Loved the comedy aspect of the parents.  Has more transformers in the movie which was also great.  Love the actors, who wouldn't. It is definitely a must see on a big screen and worth addingto your DVD collection. The tiny remote car transformer and the old timer transformer were the best, so funny. Shia and Megan are both so hot.  Can not wait for more Transformers movies to come out. This is definitely one of those movies you want to keep tabs on. I just love how those vehicles transform on the big screen. If only this could really happen in real life. This is my first review hope it gives you what you need in order to make a judgement on this film.</p>...
