The Toyota Yaris is by far the best car I have ever owned. I preeviously had a Ford Mustang and this car has it beat hands down! Number one is the price. The best value on the market. Next is the roominess of the driver and passenger seats. My boyfriend is a big guy and he always felt cramped in the Mustang. Here he can be comfortable and relaxed (all 250 pounds of him). I love all the storage compartments as well. Plenty of room for all the essentials (CD's, mints, tissues, sunglasses, etc.). However the best thing is the handling. I can get into any parking space! And, the gas milage! I fill up every three weeks. I love this car!
...

My 2008 Yaris Sedan is great over all. I am happy with the mpg. I drive my car a lot for long distances and short everyday to work. I live in the prairie Minnesota and the wind can make it feel like a plastic bag in the wind. We have not had much snow yet. But when we did it did slide around a lot. I am also worried about the winter because it's low to the ground. It is a little louder in the inside then most cars but not bad. The center dash controls should be tilted towards the driver. And the drivers right arm rest could be better. One should not have figure out the mpg by hand with a 2008 car! Normally there are only two adults riding in the car and they ride in comfort. I really like how I can have four adults in the car and they also enjoy the ride. I also have had car seats in the back and all and I thought it worked well. I love the fold down back seats for moving things and skis. Overall, I would buy this car again. Great car for the money!
...

God, I love my car! I got a 2007 Absolutely Red Yaris liftback in Feb of 07 with 3 miles on it! I got a base model with manual windows and locks. There are a lot of super great things about this car that I love, and some things I could do without.

First, it had a lot of room inside. My previous car was a 03 Ford Focus 2dr Hatchback. The Yaris is roomier inside, BUT it has no trunk to speak of. I can fit about three to four paper grocery bags...and that it.

The car is nice and small and easy to manuver and get into all those tight parking spots, especially when you live in a big crowded city, as I do, BUT its small size also makes it very light and in the winter months, with icy road, that makes me feel unsafe at times. Also when a stong gust of wind blows on the highway, you tend to be blown around a lot. It can be pretty scary the first few times!

The gas milage is pretty good. I primarily drive in the city through rush hour traffic, so I typically get about 28-30 mpg. But I've heard...
...

I bought my Yaris new in 2007 and I love it! I have had it for over a year now and have had no problems. I only have to go to the gas station one every 10 days or so and I spend little compared to others to fill up. THis car has aot of pick up too, like it can go fast! LAlso, it is very roomie inside!

I sugguest everyone try and at least test drive a Yaris, it is better for the environment and your pocketbook!

(Do get the alarm and power window/locks upgrade, worth every penny!)
...

I absolutely love my 2007 Toyota Yaris! It is especially roomy (I've had very very large friends in the car before and they agree that it is larger than it looks). On the highway and country roads I usually get 40 mpg, although I have gotten over that on long trips up north. It's very simple (mine doesn't have power locks or windows), but you can't beat the value! I do know that some people have commented on the position of the speedometer, but now that I'm used to it, I really like it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if I had it to do over. ...

I really love my 3-door liftback Yaris. It's perfect for me. I don't do too much driving and my commute to work is only about 20 miles round-trip. I drive easy too, meaning I don't floor the gas pedal when the light turns green, which results in high gas miiage. In the summer time I consistantly get around 40mpg. In the winter it drops down to about 36-37mpg. There's plenty of room in the back for a cooler and a couple of those portable lawn chairs for when I go on picnics and stuff. I have the base model, so it doesn't have a lot of features (like power wiindows and locks). but considering i usually the only person in it, I don't need any special features (plus that's less stuff that can break down later) I do very much enjoy my cd/mps radio w/ an aux jack for my mp3 player. I've only had it for 1 year and i've paid it half off. So I plan to keep it for a long, long time. and if I want something with more features in the future, I'll just lease....

I would definitely say that this is the greatest car ever made. It drives smoother than a mini van. It is small enough, but very roomy. And the best part is that it gets GREAT gas mileage! Up to 40 mpg! I like that the spedometer in the middle instead of behind the steering wheel. I would say that overall this car is great. The trunk is very large for such a small car and it easily seats five. Great for families or singles. With gas prices shooting up like they are, this is the car to choose! I can honestly say that I don't think there is anything bad about the Yaris. I have driven many Toyota's, and all are very durable and with proper care, they last up to 200,000 miles. I wouldn't buy any other brand and I think that the Yaris is the best car they've come out with yet. It is by far a great car. My favorite hing about it is how smooth it drives. You can go over a speed bump and barely notice it. And of course, it's affordable!!...

Although at first I didn't find the car all that attractive, now I find that it is the best kind of car there is. It's great on gas (up to 40 mpg), small enough but very roomy inside. I love the centered spedometer. I have yet to find something that I really don't like about the car. It's freaking great. You will love the way it drives, very smooth almost as good as a mini van. If you ask me i's the best car I've ever driven....

I've had my Yaris (4 door sedan AT) for about 2 months now. I use to have a Town & Country, so I realize there is a huge difference in comfort. Also, I guess my expectations of Toyota were much too high because I am not happy with the value. We lease the car and the payments aren't cheap. I regret not taking more time to shop around. Anyway, I am disappointed with a few cosmetic things, the handling and the gas mileage. I do drive mostly highway and am getting less than 30 mpg. I drive the speed limit so it's not my driving. I also feel like it sways too much on the highway. I thought there might be something wrong with it and brought it in for service, but I don't think they even tried to find the problem. The stereo speakers rattle and vibrate sometimes and again the service people said they couldn't duplicate the problem. The stereo screen is hard to see also, there always seems to be a glare. The cupholder is a pain, it blocks the air vent and doesn't hold the cup or bottle upright......

We purchased the 2007 Yaris sedan in late December 2006. It is a small car that is really roomy on the inside. We get almost 40 miles to the gallon, so it's easy on the wallet, too. This car is cute, practical and unique. If I could afford to buy a second one right now, I would. And that comes from a girl whose entire family works at or is retired from Ford....

I'd never thought I'd buy a new car, but Toyota made it awfully easy to do. A roomy, comfortable, well-equipped and fuel efficient car for under $15k? Done. I went with the automatic transmission, cruise, armrest and power package and haven't had a single regret in the six months I've tooted around in it since. Add to that an average of 33mpg (mostly in town - normally 30mpg in-town and 45+ highway), and the cost of ownership stays mighty low.

Most surprising about this subcompact is how much more pep it packs than similarly sized cars. Punch the gas and it zips off! The interior is beautifully designed and sports more room than seems possible when looking from outside. Driver and passengers have more leg and headroom than a sedan and the back seat comfortably seats 3... or folds flat for 25 cubic feet of space.

Comfortable to sit in, fun to drive, excellent equipment options (definitely recommend the power package), great fuel economy and tons of room - there really is no downside to this......

For city driving this car is the BOMB... small nible easy to park and sits up high so i can see about some traffic. thought the car looks small the interior is incredibly roomy... and plenty of head room... it sits up tall so getting in and out with the large door is a breeze... and though it doesn't have but a dinky trunk the rear seat folds flat to take everything i need to tote around I would buy another in a heartbeat...
