My daughter has a Camry it is a great car. She bought for $3000 used at a Ford Dealership. It is a very stylish car. It has a very reiable car and excellent on gas, she has put so many ,miles on it. it is roomy and comfortable. They are really nice cars.Only thing she had to replace is the transmission. But it had one owner before she bought it so you don't know how long he or she owned it or how they treated it. It was in excellent shape when she bought it. I love the toyota car I would recommend them for a beginner driver because they are so good on gas.
...

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry that has over 200,000 miles on it. I get about 34 miles to the gallon and the engine runs great. This is a very reliable, long lasting car that I enjoy. The transmission slip some when moving from reverse to drive and the driver side door handle has come off (I saw another 94 camry with the same handle missing, so it must be a defect). I would recommend a camry to a friend any day! Of course, you should always change the oil and such in a car this old and with this many miles on it. But, if you take care of it, then it will be good to you.
...

I purchased a 1994 Camry knowing it had some cosmetic work but was assured it was mechanically sound and was told by the lot, Lawrence Hall Supercenter in Abilene , Texas that their mechanic tested it and it was in good running order. They outsourced to a mechanic in town and I went to talk to him and he tells me the car has a shot cylinder, and he had disclosed this to the salesperson paying for the damages however, now no one is taking responsibility.

I am disabled and needed a car to be able to get me to my doctor's appointments which are over 100 miles one way. I was assured that car was mechanically sound verbally by the salesman .I paid $2810.05 cash for the car which now needs expensive repairs and was suggested an entire engine would be the best bet which is approximately $2000. I ran a VIN check on the car and it has been totaled out by insurance company and is a salvage piece. I still to this day do not have a copy of or original title to this vehicle and I feel that the mechanical...
...

I used and abused this car the first five years I drove. It gets you around town quickly, doesn't use much gas, is easy to park, and needs little pampering. I didn't change the oil in it for 2 1/2 years and never noticed a difference. Only complaint I have is that the windows tend to fog up a lot and it's tough to get them cleared out.
...

My 14 year old Toyota Camry is very near and dear to my heart. We purchased the car when I was 8 months pregnant, and our son is almost 14 years old, and so is the Camry, and it runs like a charm! I wouldn't trade it for the world! It has almost 200,000 miles on it and "takes a licking, but keeps on ticking!" I'm very sentimental when it comes to certain "material" possessions, and my Camry is one of those possessions! Of course, my teenager is mortified when we pick him up in the Camry, but one day he will understand and appreciate the good things in life!...

When I bought this car new in 1994, I thought I was overpaying. Maybe I was, but the car is still running with nothing more than a regular oil change. When it finally gives out, I'll definitely be looking at another Toyota. Why can't an American car company build a product with the same quality? It's not American workers, because I understand that my Camry was built in Ohio....
