I bought this laptop about a month ago, and I am very pleased with it. It is small enough for me and has a lot of memory. The price was the best part. The only thing I've had a small problem with is occaisionally it will freeze. If I shut it off and turn it on again, I usually end up right where I was when it froze.

This Tobshiba laptop meets all of my basic needs in regards to emailing, watching tv and movies. I recommend this highly because I have had two Toshibas and they both have been the most reliable laptops on the market. It has bells and whistles, but if you are a basic computer enthusiast then this machine is the one for you!

I purchased a new Toshiba Laptop March 2009, I have previously used Dell laptop and Hewlett packard and Compaque. I am very impressed with the Toshiba for the price. I spent $500 and have a great lap top that does everything I want it to. Don't really care for the Windows Vista operating system but I am getting use to it.

I bought this Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807 laptop almost 2 years ago from Circuit city. My old Sony VAIO laptop crashed and died, so i needed laptop for my personal use badly. Initially I considered buying either Dell or Toshiba based on feedbacks.

Dell is well known computer manufaturer and we use those computer for work and since having programming backgroud i know lot about Dell. But then i came across the review that mentioned that Toshiba is the oldest company in laptop computer and had really nice feedback from other users, so i thought i could give it a try and at that time this laptop was on deal with $100 mail-in rebate, so i jumped on it and purchased it.

After two years I am very satisfied with this laptop and would highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a laptop for everyday use with some low price. It is very good option for college students who does all their assignments and home work on laptop but want some nice and trust worthy laptop with low price.

I was fortunate that I won my Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807 in a contest. It has a nice screen size. Nice color. And it does what I need it to do.

My one complaint is that it will freeze at sometimes the worst moments. One thing I discovered to avoid the freezing is that I started shutting it down every night and that seems to have alleviated the problem. I was also pleased to find out that it will automatically save your work if it does freeze and you have to restart. I found that out quite by accident after spending a long time on a project only to have it freeze. When I rebooted, I was surprised and thrilled that it had miraculously saved my work!

This is one of the best laptops I have ever bought...it is worth every penny I spent on it. Memory is good, I like the built in webcam, the only draw back I have found with testing this laptop is it has vista....however once you get use to vista its not so bad and is just as good as xp....

Great laptop! My father-in-law is a hard-fast believer in the phrase "you get what you pay for" and in this computer the phrase holds true.

It's a wonderful machine.

On the flip side, you may want to do your homework on two things:

1) The availability of parts in the future, Ie batteries, etc.

and

2) How hot your battery gets-check out the serial numbers on your batteries to make sure they have not been recalled.\

My father-in-laws Toshiba go so hot from the battery compartment, he had a mild burn on his leg-this obviously should not be happening. So, please, check it out prior to usage!

i really enjoyed this new toy when i first purchased it in sept 07. i loved having a new computer that i can carry around. this is my second toshiba and the first one gave me too many headaches. this one is working fine but too me some things do not seem right. after a couple weeks of using my comp. i would place it in sleep mode then reawaken my comp later, it would work fine until the screen kept blacking out i noticed that this pattern was becoming more frequent and i learned that it was not a bios problem but something else. i decided to disable the sleep mode altogether. since then i have had no occurences of this. then later on i wanted to restore my comp. to an earlier date and i preceded to do so and it said that it was working then it would finish restart and then a error message would pop up saying that my comp. did not restore which was completely true. i sent a message to microsoft but they told me to contact toshiba which i do not want to do. i have tried at least three times...

I purchased this computer a few months ago. I really liked the laptop in the beginning, pretty fast and enough memory for what I need. It was also very reasonable. Recently I placed the computer on my table and the screen broke. I took it back to Best Buy where I bought it along with a service plan for $200 and they said it was a manufacturers defect. They sent it back to the manufacturer and they refused to fix it because we didn't buy two service plans. Apparently they have one for breakages. I am very dissapointed with the company and have no intentions of buying Toshiba again....

It has taken me over 6 months to find a laptop that reminded me of my desktop and witht he Toshiba it did. I love the monitor and the width it has along with the size of the hard drive.

I like that it is upgradeable and it has wonderful features to use. It came with many perks with the exception of Vista that I am still adapting to.

I am very happy with my notebook. It was affordable, has loads of memory, very easy to use, convenient customer service. I have had mine for 1.5 years now and haven't had to repair anything...and still have over 70g of memory left. I have downloaded games, photos, files, music and more....

I just bought my laptop computer a couple of months ago, and so far so good. I love the fact that my laptop has a web cam which is very easy to use. It has a ton of memory which is great for me. Im online all the time with the fact that my computer has wi-fi so that is very conveinent! I have told everyone I know of the great laptop that I have bought. The only thing that I dont like is the fact that the battery runs out of charge pretty fast. So i always have to have my battery charger with me on hand. Other than that its great!...
