I BOUGHT THIS COMPUTE TOSHIBA SATELLITE A20 AT WALMAT ALMOST 2 YEAS AGO FO THE CHEAP PICE OF $400.00 ON A POMONTIONAL OFFE, THEY DONT SELL THESE ANYMOE, IT IS A GOOD LAPTOP FO THE PICE ALTHOUGH IT DOES HAVE SOME ISSUES, I HAVE HAD TO SEND IN MY LAPTOP TWICE FO FIX TO TOSHIBA COMPANY, THE FIST YEA THE MOTHEBOAD JUST WENT OUT UNEXPECTADLY AND LUCKILY I WAS 2 DAYS TILL MY WAENTY WAS OVE, I SHIPPED ITEM FO FEE AND GOT BACK IN A TIMELY MANNE. THE 2ND ISSUE NOW IS THAT SOME KEYS AE NOT WOKING SO I WILL BE SENDING BACK TO TOSHIBA FO FIX AGAIN TODAY, LUCKILY EVEN THOUGH MY WAENTY IS OVE, THE CUSTOME POEOPLE A WHEE VEY HELPFUL AND LETTING ME SEND IT BACK FO FEE TO GET EPLACEMENT KEYBOAD. THE THID ISSUE IS THAT THE CLAMPS THAT HOLD THE MONITO DOWN HAVE BOKE OFF SO I HOPE THEY CAN EPAI THAT AS WELL. AND THE LAST BAD THING IS I HAVE HAD TO EPLACE THE POWE CODS A FEW TIMES, I HAVE BOUGHT OFF EBAY SO I DONT KNOW IF THEY WHEE JUST CHEAP O IF ITS A COMPUTE ISSUE. THATS THE BAD SIDE, OTHE THAN THAT...

FOR THE PRICE,THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST VALUES IN COMPUTERS.

IT HAS EVERYTHING I NEED FOR DAILY USE AND ITS EASY TO OPERATE.

WITH THE WIDE SCREEN,ITS EASY TO SEE THE DISPLAY AND READ EMAILS AND SUCH.

THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT !

I UPGRADED THE CAPACITY AND ITS MUCH FASTER THAN BEFORE.

MY CHILDREN ENJOY USING THE MANY FEATURES INCLUDING POWERPOINT AND EXCEL ,FOR PROJECTS AND HOMEWORK.

THE PRICE HAS GREAT RANGES FROM $500.00 TO $900.00,

DEPENDING WHERE YOU PURCHASE IT.

I PERSONALLY PURCHASED MINE AT WALMART,THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST,

BY FAR.

IT COULD BE A BIT LIGHTER IN WEIGHT,BUT IM NOT COMPLAINING.

I'M RUNNING OUT OF THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS LAPTOP.

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY FOR THE PRICE,YOU GET YOUR MONIES WORTH !

I HAVE HAD MY TOSHIBA FOR BOUT 3 YRS NOW,AND HAVENT HAD ANY

PROBLEMS WITH I.

I USE IT ON A DAILY BASIS,AS WELL.

I WONDER IF I HAVE SAID ENOUGH ABOUT THIS COMPUTER ,YET ?

The Toshiba A205 that is use belongs to my daughter. I always hated laptops until I started using this. I found that most laptops were very irritating. I love this computer. It alows me to sit in my livingroom to surf and to check my email. It very convienent and reliable. The screen is large and easy to see. I find the quality of this Toshiba A205 to be superb. I have a grandaughter who like to push the buttons, it has held up against her abuse as well. My 20 year old daughter has used this for college, she loves it as well. The whole experience with this computer has been very good. I will embrace the laptop and try to continue to come into the 21st century. Since I have started using this laptop,I have signed up for facebook, and alot of other really cool sites that halp me with my illness and personal issues. I would not be able to do this because I have chronic pain and can not sit in front of a desktop computer long enough to get into any of those site....

I started shopping for my own laptop shortly after our desktop hard drive died. What a nightmare to have to be without a computer while it was shipped off to a clean room for data recovery. Now that we have more than one computer it is easy to keep vital imformation backed up. This has been a great little computer for that purpose as well as for getting online, emailing and playing games. I am not a serious gamer but enjoy spending a little time unwinding after a long, hard day. This is my first laptop and lack of user knowledge has probably been the biggest drawback to using its full potential. I love the multiple usb ports and the fact that we can connect it to our television. We really enjoy watching movies on our wide screen, hi definition set. I do wish it had a slot for a SD card but it does not. That problem was cheaply solved with a sd card reader that plugs straight into one of those usb ports though.

I was a little dismayed when I brought my laptop home, opened the box, and realized that I did not have a memory card reader installed...but other than that, I have been very happy with my purchase! There is a large storage capacity for my needs...lots of pictures and TONS of music! I have yet to run out of room; with my previous computer (a Dell desktop) I ran out of memory with less than what I have already put on my Toshiba. I take it everywhere...it has saved me on business trips (instant movies on Netflix!). It is a little on the heavier side, I must admit, but the screen is a nice size. Overall, I'm a "happy laptopper." :)...
