The Toshiba Satellite A105 Is a wonderful and simple laptop. I purchessed this model last year and have been totally blown away by the features avalible. This machine has four USB ports to handle all the other perrifials so I do not need a USB hub. Before this I was a loyal HP user and basically did not trust anyother computer products. I was sceptical when I bought this brand but the price was the best for what I needed. Wow what a value I got.

My Satellite has traveled several thousand miles through Airports, Border Check Stations, and numerous Court Houses X-ray scanners without any hardware or software problems. My computer came pre-loaded with all the bells and whistles that the major name brands were equiped with. The options to upgrade for free was something I did not expect. The fact that it survived my daughters "OOOH NOOO" drop test was just proof that we had made the right decission
...

I am generally happy with the Tosiba that I bought. The only issue I have, well actually two of them. One, it tends to get hot on the bottom. I bought a cooling pad and that has taken care of the issue.

My biggest gripe would be that the battery has very little life. They need to work on making it last longer when you are unplugged. Also, I had to have the battery replaced.

In generally though it is a decent computer.
...

Okay... let me start by telling you I DO NOT work for Toshiba and do not know anyone who does ~ Cool, just wanted that to be up front!</***************** align="left">

Alrighty then, I purchased my first of three Toshiba laptops back in 2005, the A105 model.... it is still up and kicking; I cleaned it out and restored to factory..... gave it to my sister for a present and she uses it as her main computer! I still have the other two and use one daily, the other one weekly. I have had absolutely no problems or issues with any of the Toshibas at all - NONE! I know laptops are not as powerful or quick as desktop computers, but they're so **** handy, especially with the wireless; I can go anywhere in the house and out on the patio when the weather is nice, and do everything I want to do on the computer!

One of the most important things I love is that Toshiba always includes the recovery disk in case you need to, or want to clean out and restore you computer to factory new condition! Let...

...

The Toshiba Satellite A105-S361 is for media lovers who are passionate about editing video, watching movies, and uploading photos to Flickr. This mainstream unit combines portability with a 15.4-inch widescreen, and though this machine is not meant for gaming, the rest of the components should satisfy your need for speed.

A+
...

I have to admit to being rather hard on my laptop. I frequently take it to school with me, and I have dropped it down the stairs (while in the laptop bag) more than once. Miraculously, it still works. If you have to buy a laptop, I would definitely recommend a Toshiba. They can handle the abuse! :)...

This Toshiba laptop is great for an at-home-only laptop. The battery doesn't last very long on it's own and it's too bulky and heavy to take out with you. Other than that, it's a great computer to use at home and has a lot of memory....

Need a workhorse, reliable laptop computer that can frequently be found on sale in large office supply chains? Look no further than the Toshiba A105 Satellite.

Mine is a media center computer with a wide screen, making it a bit heavier than some laptops, but I spend 6-8 hours a day looking at the screen and am an avid reader and video watcher, so I am thoroughly satisfied with this machine.

My unit came with XP, with the promise of a "free Vista upgrade", which I never received, but from what I've heard, that's not much of a loss other than for the fact that I am limited to 32 bit processing. Still, I expected them to make good on the offer, something they have refused to do. Other than that, I have had absolutely no problems or complaints.

I recently carried the computer in a backpack (I use crutches) on a lengthy trip and found it a bit heavy compared to the tiny, high-priced machines you normally see business users with on airplanes, but the weight was still manageable.

I use a chill mat...
...

I've owned the Toshiba A105 for over a year now. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I use it every day for several hours. I have a few friends who are trying to recruit my into getting a MAC and I might, but not until this one bites the dust, which I hope isn't for another few years. I think it was an average product for the price....

This has been a good laptop. I have owned it about two years.

I have really enjoyed the built- in wireless. It is nice to be able to use the computer anywere. I also like the glide point mouse. It has stood up to my two year old using it some.

Replacing the fan is the only thing we have had to fix....
