Torrid has quite a few tops I would LOVE to buy if they weren't so expensive. I do not want to pay $98.00 for a tank top ( I don't care what logo is on the front of the shirt.) Although at times they do have SOME good clearance items (although 30.00 for a shirt on clearance isn't a good deal) and good discounts (50% off clearance,) it would be nice if their website would work during those deals so I can actually purchase them while they are on sale. I tried to make a purchase on 2 different days and neither day would it allow me to complete the purchase. Now the sale is over and I don't want to pay 30.00 dollars for a shirt on top of shipping (since there isn't a store close enough for me to go to.) Overall Torrid got my hopes up. I was so excited when I heard about the store and went online to check it out for myself. it was definitely to good to be true. I find that they take advantage of all the plus size girls who look hard for a cute look at a good price. You can definitely find...

i have purchased around 10 shirts by torrid, and they are really high in thread count, and quality. the ones i bought two years ago, still look new, and the buttons are still tight. torrid has cornered the market for me lately...i like them more than my ed hardy ones.

Torrid offers a much better stylish selection of plus size clothing for ages 16-24. However, they are way over-priced and some of their products are vulgar..not something I would want young kids learning. The clothing line seems to be very focused on sex and breasts. I did not find anything conservative in the store. To top it all off not a single employee greeted us or offered their help in locating specific styles or sizes. Overall I was very disappointed and would stick to department stores when helping friends shop....

I'm sooooo tired of online outlets only selling fashionable clothes for skinny chicks. Since I hurt my back and put on weight 9 years ago, I've had to wear what fits and often that means giant tents with black pants. I decided to look, not just for plus sized clothing, but for something that would demonstrate my personality. I found torrid.com. The clothes CAN be a little expensive, so I tend to look for sales items, but everything I've bought for them is very well made and cute as all get out! I highly recommend them to any larger lovely lady looking for some clothes with spunk!...

Torrid.com and Torrid stores feature fun clothes for the plus size chick. They are specifically engineered for junior plus girls, which I think is awesome because there aren't a lot of selections in this genre.

That said, I've gotten to try on these clothes in their stores and they are:

very formfitting - could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your taste/body type
a bit pricey - I considered buying one top and a vest, full price, and it would have been $80 plus tax... honestly, that's more than I like to spend
trendy - fun and sassy fashion is hard to find in plus-sizes - this is it!

They do have really excellent clearance prices, but watch out - you cannot return a clearance item. I don't feel like the quality is that great; I would say, shop clearance if you can and launder gently.

I've been shopping and Torrid off and on for the last 4 years, I even worked there for a back to school season prior to moving out of state about 4 years ago (I hated working there, let me tell you, they expect you to be like the used car salesmen of the clothing industry).

Anyways, I've always thought their clothes were WAY over priced for what you get. But lately my experiences with them get worse and worse! I bought a pair of jeans from them about 3 months ago, spent near $50 for this one pair of jeans, and they are already worn out. I wore them maybe a couple of times a week and where my thighs rub a little they wore in a hole! After 3 months!!!!!!!!!! I also had bought a $44 tank top with adjustable straps, after wearing it twice one of the plastic adjusters on the strap broke, after a 3rd time the other one broke! I also recently bought a pink 3/4 length sleeve cardigan off of their clearance deal, I bought it in the same size as all of my other cardigans and when I......

Unfortunatly the store in my location is closing, but while it was open i did shop there.

They had trendy stuff for plus size girls at good prices. Always felt comfortable and good customer service.

would definetly reccomend for any plus sizes/

my friends who werent even plus size would buy accessories there

I found Torrid a couple of months a ago, and I love them. I usually shop the sales and clearance items. I am a thrifty shopper!! There clothes are quality and seem to last, so I don't mind spending a little more on them!...

I'm so much in love with this store. The styles are very trendy and up to date which is very important. The only issue I have is the clothes are a little high in price However, I'm tried of people thinking that since I'm Plus Size that i want to wear clothes that have no life. This is a different time and we are no-longer sitting in the back hopeing that no one will notice. We are up front and enjoying all of our sexyness even if socitey says we should be doing other wise.

I love pretty much everything about Torrid from the moment I step into the door until the moment I leave. The stores are designed to create an atmosphere of warmth and welcoming. The employees are friendly and helpful. The employees are ready to lend a willing hand to provide what you need while in the store. They know the merchandise like the back of their hands and will gladly give an opinion when needed. The clothes are quality, fun, and make you feel great about yourself. The prices are a little expensive but well worth it if you're searching for something that will last the long haul. I'd recommend Torrid for any plus size woman looking to feel fun and great about themselves....

This is the greatest store for moms and girls who love Hot Topic, but are "gifted" in the bosom area. Both my daughter and I are DD-DDD, and have trouble finding nice tops to wear on dates. This store is "the bomb"! Now they have opened one closer to Baltimore so we don't have to travel to Annapolis to buy their clothes. Their corsets are great fitting, and their jeans are perfect for me, as I have a tiny waist and larger hips. I love their skinny jeans and my daughter loves their capri length tights and also their socks. Even though their regular prices are high, their divastyle club can save you money, as well as frequent email sales that have lots of coupon sales!...

I REALLY LOVE THIS STORE. THEY HAVE THE BEST CLEARANCE(50%!) AND THE REGULAR PRICED ITEMS ARE NOT THAT BAD EITHER. I LOVE THAT THEY ARE FOR YOUNGER PLUS SIZED GIRLS. ITS NICE TO FIND A STORE THAT ADDRESSES MY PROBLEMS AND SATISFIES MY NEEDS. THEY CARRY A LARGE VARIETY OF URBAN APPAREL AS WELL AS STYLES THAT WILL SUIT THE MOST SOPHISTICATED WOMAN'S TASTE. Torrid has some of the most over-priced, poorly made, and oftentimes, hideously styled clothes I've ever seen. They charge waaaay too much for their clothes, the fabrics on everything I've ever gotten from there is paper thin, cheap, and ravels after one wash. They have several cute items, but some of their items, you just have to wonder what the person was thinking (or drinking) when they designed it....
