Courtney86 says "An exciting, clean city full of friendly people" about Toronto

After visiting Toronto only 3 times, my fiance and I have decided to move there next year! It's the most beautiful city I've ever been in--so clean, and a perfectly functioning public transportation system. We stayed at the Global Backpacker's Inn, and I highly recommend it. Private double rooms are only $60 a night, and if you don't mind sharing a room with strangers, prices go as low as $27 a night.

Make sure to visit Chinatown and Kensington Market. You'll find a lot of neat little shops and 420-friendly cafes. It's a great city for both young people and families. Also, the economy is booming and jobs are plentiful.

For a visit, check out the CN tower, the Steamwhistle brewery (tour and free samples for $6 if you stay at Global Backpacker's!), and Centre Island. Bring LOTS OF LAYERS if you're traveling between, say, October and March. Summers are absolutely gorgeous. There's a nude beach on Centre Island, just a short ferry ride away, as well as family-friendly parks and swimming.
...

typeamom says "This clean, friendly city has a surprise around each corner!" about Toronto

I have visited Toronto several times, and there's one thing that I find amazing about it. Each visit, I stumble on yet another cool neighborhood I've never seen before. There are beaches and islands, busy chain-store lined avenues and quaint neighborhoods with cheese shops and cafes. You can even see the underground city.

I've visited Toronto as a couple, and as a mom. I've met up with another couple with a kid for a family getaway. I've even done Toronto with a baby during the blackout. I've never had a bad Toronto experience.

Toronto has all the diversity and vibrancy of a big city, but very little of the trade-off you must endure in other large cities such as crime and general grunginess. This is a clean, friendly, fun and fascinating destination.

This is also a city that has a little something for everyone. I'm partial to the St. Lawrence produce market, but my husband insists on visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame each and every time we go there.

You will probably not get a chance to visit......
