I love Top Chef! Unlike some of the other cooking shows it has true talent not just personalities that would collide or cause drama. The show also always moves along nicely from start to finish, I never fast forward it, which is good for me. There are two challenges every episode so there is plenty of variety. I usually find that the right contestant wins in the end too, which obviously means the judges are fair and accurate. Never miss an episode!

Top Chef is an outstanding TV series! I cannot wait for each episode ! It's fun to see what they will be challenged with and what they come up with to cook! The personal dramas don't hurt either!

I can't say enough about this show-- obviously, once you become a fan of this show, you will be a loyal one. This is the only program that I actually look forward to each new episode and can let very little in my busy life interfere with me watching it right when it is on (can't stand to try to record it and watch it later...) and then I will watch the "encore" episode all the way through when they replay it immediately after!!

Top Chef is one those TV Shows that I wait impatiently for it to begin each session. It has a good balance of experienced Chefs versus those that have not necessarily been technically trained, but cook for the masses. While I usually initially think the experienced Chefs will be the front runners, I find myself often being pleasantly surprised by those on the other extreme. Not only do I want to root more for the "underdogs", I find myself wanting to try to recreate many of dishes I see made.

Each sesion they have a good mix of new challenges among soem that were considered favorites from past seasons. This keeps it fresh while letting us re-enjoy those that we liked from the past.

One thing I dislike about the show is the often inconsistent judging panel. It sometimes seems as if the things they criticize people for one week are the very things that they praise the following week. It almost seems like this happens because they (the judges or Producers) are trying to manipulate...

This show always excites me because the producers continue to build excitement to bring viewers back each week. The challenges the Chef's take part in are real and fun and thrilling. There really isn't one great part of the show because they are all really exciting. It's also cool when they bring in a famous guest judge or when they get to prepare a meal at a famous restaurants. The show is great and keeps me coming back for more.

Top Chef is a show that tantalizes your taste buds and stimulates your imagination while making you feel like you may want to try this at home.While there are occasionally arrogant contestants on this show, (everyone needs someone to dislike) even they earn your respect with their ability to create appetizing dishes from some of the strangest ingredients in only 15 minutes hoping to achieve immunity for the next round. The following round has them pitted against each other, either as individuals or teams, to determine who has the best food and who will ultimately go home. You will find yourself immersed in the show and its cast of chefs, waiting impatiently for the next weeks showing so that you can see what happens next. You wait and watch for the grand finale of the season with anticipation to see who wins and then are saddened because you have to wait for the next season to watch it again. If you like good TV, this is one reality show that whets your appetite for more.

I've enjoyed the Bravo TV series, Top Chef for years. Basically, they start out with a bunch of aspiring chefs, run them through a number of culinary challenges, eliminating one a week until the wonner is crowned. The winner receives $100,000 worth of equipment in order to start a restaurant.

This year, they have been competing in Chicago, with Chicago-based challenger such as tailgating for a Bears game, feeding some Chicago policemen and the like. My wife and I have been enjoying the Chicago locale, even seeing the Whole paycheck (err... Whole Foods) stores that the aspiring Top Chefs shop at.

However, this show is more than just the culinary challenges. There is a lot of human drama involved. Some of the contenders are more likeable than others, and some are more talented. The last person eliminated was a very strong chef, but got saddled with a team of poor team players. He may have been set up by his teammates, who are both real weasels. I don't remember how I found this show...but am so glad I did. This is the third season that I am watching and look forward to it every week. The show is re-run so many times a week that if you miss the initial episode, you can always catch it another time. I guess this show is made for people like me who love the food network, love reality tv, and just love food. If you fit into any of those categories...this show is sure to entertain....

Top Chef is an amazing show!!! Bring together all these different Chefs from aroung the country and testing their skills amongst each other!! The challenges are great and throughly entertaining. Never know what they will come up next!!! Thge only thing they forget is not everyone eats "gourmet food". What happened to normal upscale everyday food????...

This is my love hate television series. I am completely hooked on it yet I don't understand the choices they make when they cast the show. I guess it's more important to cast people who will be volatile rather than great chefs, but this country is full of talented cooks. But I watch it anyway. I love seeing what people can come up with on the spur of the moment. I am very suspicious about how people are voted off. If you read -- very quickly -- the small type at the end of the show, you'll notice that it says that the person voted off is chosen after consultation with the producers of the show. In other words, not just the food judges make the decision. It really is based on the personalities involved. Too bad. But still I watch....
