I am a home health Physical Therapist Assistant. I am given directions to every home that I have to go to. Sometimes the directions are not reliable. My Tom Tom has saved me from driving around and wasting time trying to find my patients. The directions given to me by my coworkers are not always reliable. However, my Tom Tom is. This device has saved me time and saved my professional reputation. I dont like telling my patients that I will arrive at a certain time and then not be on time. I never have to worry now that I have my Tom Tom. All homehealth personell need to have this device. Your organization should furnish them because the Tom Tom will make you more efficient. I am able to see more people now because I dont have to waste time trying to find them. My Tom Tom takes me right to them. It has not failed me yet. I use it on trips as well. I have been to three different states by myself without worrying about getting lost. This is a life and a sanity...

I love my TomTom for the city but it doesn't work well in the country. You can get lost on backroads and yes I do update the software frequently. I have noticed though that if I do know where I am going and know the shortcut, TomTom will take the long way to get to the place.

My parents got me one before I had a car. I'm a hopeless dingbat when it comes to navigations and I consider this thing to be an absolute miracle. There're glitches here and there but still prefer it over a paper map any day.

I simply don't know what I would do without it. It's a real life saver. As A Foster Parent I do LOTS of traveling especially to areas I don't know and well I simply would be lost without this little jewel. God Job! I like the sound quality, and everything about it. I received this as a gift so I don't know how much it cost but I would certainly recommend it to anyone and everyone I can think of. When I stop and think of all the school meetings, meetings with county workers, agency workers, probationers, biological family members plus all the things I need to do for myself personally it becomes instantly clear that this device is not a vanity item but a real must have. I can say that many of the places I go are to areas that I have only heard of and not actually been to and have to go on a regular and consistant basis and with the turn by turn directions I get from the little jewel it's like I have gone there all the time for years. Ride with my friend alot. We go everywhere from day to day and never know where we are going the most of the time. Like alot of people out there we used to get lost until we found the TomTom unit he bought at Best Buy. We love this little unit. It goes right on your dash and it's not all that big. But what is does for it's size is a amazing thing. We can set it to go to a certain place and if we need to change the settings it will let us even if we are half way threw the trip. That makes it worth all the money we paid for it and more in my eyes. Most units I have come across doesn't have that function. You most the time have to stop and start the process all over again. But with this unit. This fuction saves us alot of time and it will you too also. If you are like alot of us, we change your minds alot with in a trip even more if you are not pressed for time or destanation. It does a great job and does it everytime. This unit is user friendly and it as a good looking look on your dash....

I have used this model to got to springfield and it worked great. It got me where I was going and back home again with no problems. I love the feature that I can save my trips in the gps. It allows me to change routes in the middle of my trip. I love the turn by turn directions. The gpr unit is the best thing that I have come acrossed. The tom tom is the greatest thing for someone who gets lost easy and the tom tom helps you find your way back to where you started. I would recommend the tom tom to any one that gets lost or has a person that drives and does not like asking for directions to the destination. I think they should have come out with the tom tom a long time ago and it would have saved a lot of lost people driving to a family members house or where ever they were going. It helps me to stay on time for dr appt. that are out of town and I do not now where I am going. I will be buying another tom tom - 910 gps navigation system for my other car next year.

I have the Tom Tom 910 and i love it. you just cant get lost. even if you know where you are and take a different route, it will tell you exactly how to get there. Many times i like to just see the roads around me and it has every road. If you miss an turn off or exit, it quicky recalculates to show how to turn around, or find you a new route. The voice is great because if i am not watching the screen, the voice will prompt me to look and see the turn off. I can also take it from car to car with me since i just stick it to my window

I attend rabbit shows in some places that I have never been before. When I didn't have the TomTom to use, I was driving around and around. I occasionally was late to check in my rabbits.

With the TomTom, I enter the location of the show and I have the assurance that I will get there on time and be able to check my rabbits into the show. It has brought my anxiety level down greatly.

The TomTom takes a little learning curve at first but once you have played with it, learned that you can change the screen from a day screen to a night screen,ignore the annoying voice when you know your direction home, it's great.

My husband keeps the TomTom in his car but if I am traveling with my rabbit buddy to a show or road trip elsewhere, I take it and put it in my car. I really think that we need two of them but we just fight over the one. It is such an essential piece of equipment when traveling and I can't ever imagine not having it when I am traveling.

The Tom Tom 910 is a great device and is very easy to use. The only thing I hate about it is when it is time to update maps they make you pay for it. Other than that is is a great gps system

I purchased the Tom Tom two years ago. I don't know how I ever functioned without one. I find the woman's voice annoying sometimes. I have noticed that local directions are sometimes inaccurate however that is to be expected, especially if you already know the back country roads. I would recommend this to anyone. It is mostly reliable.

My experience for this device I have is that my friend owened one and no matter what happened or were he was tom-tom always got him to me. It was very usefull due to the fact that I didn't have to be on the phone all the time and just incase I didn't know the street address tom-tom did. Plus my friend was also able to hook up his stereo equipment, dvd player, video games, and even his car alarm. The tom-tom also has many different setting and is easy to use.

My boss bought a Tom Tom 910 GPS Navigation System to use for meetings at potential clients homes about 18 months ago. I was very intimidated at the thought of trying to figure out how to use it since I do not consider myself computer savvy at all. I would take it along to meetings with a printed map just to make my boss think I was using it. One day I decided to just play with it a bit and prove myself right that it was too complicated to use. To my surprise it was so easy I had it down pat in three to four tries without ever looking at the directions. I love the different languages it gives directions in since I speak several and have tried out every accent on it as well. There's just something great about having someone in an Aussie accent tell you to make a right turn in 400 yards. If you think you know a better way to reach your destination and go off the chosen path, it is able to reroute you within 5 seconds.
