I have been playing golf for my entire life now, and have just recently been getting good. I have started playing the titleist Pro V1 golf ball and it is by far the best ball that I have ever played. It has such a soft cover, so it gives you tremendous feel around and on the greens. The core is solid enough to give you great distance, but soft enough to give you tremendous spin and very soft landing shots on the greens. The cover is tough enough that it does not get cut very easily. It is the best ball ever.

I have recently started using the Titleist golf ball and feel that it out performs other brands.It's condition after a round or two remains good.However.I would like the ball brighter as the white is duller compared to other brands.Having said that,I would be reluctant to change my golf ball at this stage as my golf scores have been improving since I started using the Titleist Pro V1.

The Pro v1 is without a doubt the superior ball in the golf world. The only competitor would be the Pro v1x which is strikingly similar. Expensive, but worth the money if you want the best....

I think this is the best golf ball I have ever used I will not play any other golf ball but the Titleist Pro V1. It has amazing feel on all shots especially love to putt with this ball. This ball has great bite on shots from full length to shorter shots around the green. I do think I lose a little distance off the tee but the feel and play around the green make up for the distance. Great golf ball!!!!...

I would highly reccomend this ball for any golfer. When I switched to these balls I got 20 more yards off the tee and my overall game improved drasticly. This is a great ball that should be used by all. It's definitely worth the price!

lacks distance when compared to lower cost balls like noodle. Not enough backspin on approch shots to justify lost yardage on fairway....

While these are admittedly terrific golf balls, they are only essential for very low handicappers. Unless you are in the single digits, you will find balls that perform almost identically for considerably less cost. If money's no object, they are the best. But if you are a value golfer, look elsewhere.

I tried the Pro V1's and wasn't impressed. They are over priced, over hyped and don't get the distance of many of the cheaper balls. If you mis-hit them a tiny bit with an iron they cut very easy. I would not reccommend these unless you have money to throw away....

After years of using the latest golf balls from the likes of Callaway, Maxfli, and Nike, I finally decided to play the "#1 ball in golf" - the Titleist Pro V1. I can't believe it took me this long to believe the commercials.

I was looking for a golf ball that had plenty of bite around the greens, without sacrificing distance off the tee. I wanted it to feel soft off the putter, but still hold up after hitting a tree or cart path. And let's face it, I wanted to feel popular with that prestigious brand name inscribed across the golf ball. Let me tell you, the Titleist Pro V1 does all that. I am extremely happy with the performance of this golf ball. Honestly, it is the #1 ball in golf. The 2007 version even added a black line to help line up putts.

About the only downside of this golf ball is the insanely high price - just under $50 for a box of 12! There are usually better deals online, but these are consistently the most expensive golf balls on the market.
