rrockinrenee says "A good english muffin and source of fiber and protein" about Thomas' English Muffins

Even though these english muffins are kind of on the expensive side, I buy them when they go on sale and freeze them. By keeping them in the freezer and taking them out as you need to means you won't be throwing any out because they went bad. That is the only time I do buy them is when they are buy one get one free. There isn't much you can do with them so it's not like i need to buy them all the time, but, the wheat english muffins are a great source of fiber and protein where as the regular ones are not good for you.

I like to make breakfast sandwhiches with them and put a cooked egg on them after they are toasted with mustard and cheese and maybe some ham, sausage, or bacon. Or have breakfast for dinner sometime and use them up with that meal. Also, I tried on my grandson to toast the wheat (he ddint like the wheat with just butter) and make peanut butter and jelly and he actually ate it.

While I agree that Thomas's English Muffin's have gone up in price and have gotten thinner, I for one, like the change - at least the thinner one change. Before I didn't like the way they fit in the toaster. They would always "catch" and tear on the way out. They are great for anytime of the day.
...

have been buying Thomas English for over 50 years. It has consistently been a quality product, and well worth the premium price. However, I now find they have decided to substantially lower the quality. The muffins are thinner and the taste is gone. It is amazing that companies underestimate the intelligence of their customers. I am not in the habit of voicing my opinion regarding products, usually I just stop buying. This time I decided to speak up. I am sure there are many people out there who feel the same way, and will just stop buying them, resulting in another fine product bites the dust, and what was once a company with integrity goes belly up. I can only hope someone from Thomas reads this and they smarten up, but I doubt it.
...

Thomas' English Muffins have been priced up too much, for the Omega 3, raisin cinnamon and hyped name brands, as well as for ordinary, named "nooks and crannies' types. Six months ago I would buy them at a quarter to a third of the current prices on frequent sales, and loved them. Why this pricing up in a recession?.
...

I am a long time buyer of Thomas english muffins but in the past few months my hubby and I have noticed the muffins are NOT the same. They are much thinner than they ever were before and after splitting n placing into the toaster what comes out is a shiveled discusting dried up piece of I don't know what....it's not even a memory of an english muffin anymore!!! We are discusted with the way companies are cutting corners on quality BUT still expecting consumers to pay full price IF not higher prices! Thomas muffins will no longer be getting my business thats for sure! As a matter of fact I am going to learn to make them myself!...

I love bread, but so many choices are high in calories or made with preservatives. Thomas' English Muffins are a huge exception because they taste great! I love that now they come in a whole wheat flavor for even more nutrition. Did I mention each muffin is only 100 calories? They are perfect to toast up in the morning and always taste light and fluffy. I love topping them with peanut butter for a tasty and whole grain breakfast. They come in a yummy cinnamon raisin variety too. Even the plain has so much flavor and they are perfect with anything. They are a great substitution in sandwiches for sliced bread and make fun pizzas. I love these muffins because they are healthy but still taste great. They make breakfast YUM!...

Thomas' is with out a doubt the best english muffin there is. No other comes even close. Thomas' are so versitile. I have used them for sandwiches, pizza, cheesy bites just to name a few. I am sure those who have tried will agree with me. The nooks and crannies are great but its the flavor that will win you over. They cost a bit more but are worth every bite. I highly recommend Thomas'...

I have enjoyed eating Thomas English muffins for a very long time! It has been my over all favorite bread to eat. Being regular, 100 calorie, Whole wheat or grains, nothing can beat a Thomas English Muffin. Toasting them to perfection and adding buttery so it melts into all the nooks and crannies. *(Just like the commercial states). I have one every morning for breakfast. Eat them for Lunch in place of bread. Have even tried making pizza bites from them or placing a hamburger with cheese. They are the correct size for a preformed hamburger patty. Yum Yum Yum
...
