One of the best shows on TV, The Unit has it all....suspense, drama, great characters and patriotism! The plots are interesting and the characters believable and likeable. It is facinating to see how they solve what appear to be overwhelming problems and their dedication to our country is great for the younger generation to see and emulate!

I really look forward to Sunday nights although I let the DVR get a head start on me because of other programming. I have worked in Defense related activities all of my working life but have never been exposed to anything similar to The Unit. It certainly gives one a view of our military that we would not have been able to see anywhere else. It is one of my favorite shows. I give it a "10."

The Unit used to be one of my favorite shows, but I'm not sure what the heck they've done this season. I really like the focus on the military and the pride we should feel in those soldiers who protect us behind the scenes. This season (and towards the end of last season), they tried to bring in all these hokey story lines that really messed with the feel of it....

Great show!! Since the first episode i find my self wiating for a whole week for an hour of greatnss. The unit is full of action. The plots always leave you guessing untill the last minute. Its also based on one of my favorite books "inside delta force" where they go through extensive army training to beplaced in an elite group which goes out and does top secret missions...

I will admitt that I was a little leary of The Unit when it first aired. Didn't watch it possibly for the first season but passing through the living room and it would be one you couldn't help but get caught in it. With its excellent caracters and roles, top secret missions and world saving feats, I was hooked. I love action movies, and this is like an awesome action movie that comes on every week. It also has a delightful mix of drama with the lives of the wives and children, letting you see how the families of men who do this kind of stuff are affected. The Unit is one of the shows I can't wait to see and you have to watch ever minute its on other wise you are going to miss a detail and be lost, and I love that in a show....

The Unit is one of the best shows currently on television. It is unfathomable that CBS considered cancelling the show following last season not to mention moving the show to Sunday nights. Check it out you will not be disappointed.

I enjoy shows like The Unit because of the story line, the content, and the showcasing of the different characters. But what has happened to it? Besides being MIA, the direction of the show has taken a downward spiral in this last season.

In the past, the fantastical story lines were written and acted in such a way I felt them to be close to believable. Something has happened in the directing and the writing of the show. I now wonder how the scripting will be post writer's strike.

I am still waiting with bated breath and fingers crossed.

Will they bring back the opening theme? The military cadence really put me in the mood of anticipation for the show. I hope so..

Mount up, here we go.

This is my Must see -cannot miss show.If there is one show that I had to watch over and over this would be it.It has romance-drama-action...I am not into the military type shows and movies but this show has changed that.I don't know what I would do if they ended this show.I am bitching at my tv or yelling at it during the show.When they killed off one of the main guys a few weeks ago-I cried.I started yelling-I just knew that the Col. had something to do with it b/c he got busted with Tiffy-I don't like her anyway.Mack is by far my fantasy soldier.He can cry on my shoulder any day. My BIGGEST complaint about this show is that the title music was changed. I love the original music.I even have it on my Ipod!You could be in any room of the house and hear it come on and the kids and I would all come running!This is the only show I watch that I do not forward through the opening credits.It has some of the sexiest damn pictures I have ever seen!I want a poster of the last one they show where......

In his role as Jonas Blane, Dennis Haysbert leads an elite group of soldiers into covert battle each week. His men, Bob Brown (Scott Foley), Mack Gerhardt (Max Martini), Charles Grey (Michael Irby), and the recently departed Hector Williams (Demore Barnes) face not only the challenges of each mission, but homelife struggles as well. With a strong supporting cast that includes Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) and Regina Taylor (Courage Under Fire), this show is well acted with belevable characters.

The characters are not created to be "supermen," but rather extraordinary soldiers who endure the same foibles as those of the civilian world.

The storylines are timely, and somewhat frightening if you stop to think about how truly plausible most of them are. This mirroring of today's headlines is one of the things that makes the show so enjoyable to watch.

As was shown just a couple of episodes ago, not all goes according to plan in the field, as evidenced by the death of Hector Williams...

Rifle says "A Great Military tv show" about The Unit

After watching the first couple of episodes I bought and read the book the show depicts.

The book "Delta Force" was written by a man that was in the initial forming of the Unit

and the show depicts many of the "tricks of the trade" as it were.

This show is full of action and shows some troubled family life of the members of the unit.
