I am not that much right now into reading. I am tried when I come home from work. But my sisters bugged and bugged me to read the Twilight books. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought the firsrt book. I headed to my family reunion and started to read the book. At first Twilight started out a little slow. I am not that used to reading about alot of romance and as my brother-in-law put it all this junior hight lovey dovey crap.

But after I got through the first couple of chapters I really got into the book. Man it's amazing and no I haven't seen the movie yet even though I do have it on DVD. By the second day of the camp out I was completly done with Twilight and I was starting on the second book New Moon. I also bought that the same day I got Twilight. So far New Moon was my favorite of all the books. I am still on the third book though. I have not got to the last one.

What I don't like is the prise of these books. They are outragise any more. I managed to get...
...

I was totally resistent to reading the Twilight book series, but agreed to purchase them for my daughter who was in 6th grade. Everyone was reading them and some of the other mothers read them, so I felt comfortable letter her read them. My daughter, not an avid reader, was attached to the books for weeks. After seeing the movie, Twilight, I decided it was time to read them. Stephanie Meyers creativity astounded me. The way she was able to take a frightening creature and make this into the most impossible love story really held my interest. I picked up the first of the Twilight books and did not stop until 2 weeks later when I finished Breaking Dawn. The love story it portrays is a beautiful show of unconditionable love. I don't that anyone could read this and not see it. Get past the vampires and you will find yourself falling in love with the story. You won't be sorry you started them. On the contrary, you will feel sad when you are finished with the last page of the...
...

At first, like everyone, I got caught up in the vampire/Edward Cullen crazy, reading Twilight and loving the way that Edward acts with Bella. But after a while, you start thinking, why are these two people together? Because Edward is "good"? The only reason he's good is because he doesn't eat people; otherwise, he doesn't have anything going for him...
...

I absolutely love this series. I read them all several times and would be more than happy to read them again. I love the fact that they are not set for a certain age limit and than people of any age can read them and enjoy them. I did feel that there were some scenes that I would have been a little nervous to have my teenager reading but for the most part it can be for all ages. She goes into great detail and makes you feel like you are in the story with them and I love that.

I have never been one to get into vampire books and actually just picked this one up because none of the other books caught my attention. I needed a new book and looked for hours but couldn't find one that grabbed my attention with the story line. I read this story line and thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. i was hooked instantly and could not wait to purchase the next book in the series and be able to see what ended up happening to everybody.

cythiejane says "The best series since Harry Potter" about The Twilight Saga Collection

I actually just finished the Twilight Saga Book Collection and would have to say that I LOVED IT! As any reader might say, the book is better than the movie, and the same applies here too. I know, I know the movie was amazing but the book really is so much better, there is more to the story and the way Stephanie writes every emotion Bella is experiencing just puts you right in there with her. You actually start to feel as if it is you are the one having those emotions and are right in the book with the wonderful collection of characters. And that is not just with the Twilight book but with every one of the four books in the saga. These books make Vampires look good! There have been so many stories about vampires and such and they are all the same. It is great to see someone with origional ideas on the subject. Stephanie just makes you fall inlove with her characters (especially Edward) yet keeps enough excitement and suspence intertwined to keep it out of the strictly romance...
...

BCraig123 says "Best series I have read." about The Twilight Saga Collection

The Twilight Saga Collection is by far the best book series that I have read. I am not big into reading but this series had definately kept me interested. I found that I spent all my free time reading just to find out what would happen next.

Twlight (the 1st book) was by far my favorite. It introduces all the characters and begins the story of Edward and Bella. You can really tell through the authors descriptions what makes their love so intense.

New Moon (the 2nd book) tells of Bella and Edward parting and the new relationship that sparks between Bella and Jacob.

Eclipse (the 3rd book) tells more of the story, now with Edward back it is more of a triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob.

Breaking Dawn (the final book) shows us how Bella and Edward end up spending "forever" together and the obstacles they have to pass to finally get there.

I absolutely love the way that the last book ended the series. The author has answered many of the questions that anyone could have and still left it...
...

The "Twilight" series--the books that got my eyes back into "adult" reading after a decade of reading only children's books! My first encounter with Twilight was when my ten year old son asked me to take him to the movie the weekend it opened in theaters. I'd never heard of it, nor was I going to take him to a vampire movie without seeing it first. I didn't think much more about it until it came out on DVD, and I picked it up from Netflix. WOW!! I developed an instant vampire crush on Edward! I let my son watch it the next day, then I went out and bought the book. The book was 100 times better than the movie. I finished it in 2 days, then headed off to purchase the next 3 books. I was hooked. I finished all 4 books in two weeks. I'm hoping the movie version of "New Moon" is better than the movie version of "Twilight", because the book is incredible!! I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading books that are so great you don't realize it's 4am, and yet you don't care because you...
...

I loved the Twilight Saga, I was a fan from day one that the first Twilight Book hit shelves. Now 4 years and 1.5 movies later, there is a collectors set of all four Twilight books together. I had to have it.

The books are beautifully put together in a box that has each of the cover designs on the outside.

If you are a fan, this is a great thing for you. I have mine on my bookshelf upopened, because it is that awesome.

If you haven't read twilight, or it's sequels, BUY THIS. It is cheaper to buy the collection at some stores than to but the book individually.

These have the original covers. They don't have the Twilight The Movie or New Moon Movie covers on thses books.
...

This is a fascinating series that I laughed about in the beginning. I thought all these people (teens and their moms) were going nuts about this series, going on and on. I am an avid reader, my whole family is. So about a year after the second one came out I decided to read twilight. Well the rest is history, I was hooked! I read it before my 17 year old daughter who said she really wasnt interested in it ( primarily because everyone else was). So when I finished twilight and told her how much I adored it, and how quite frankly I too wanted someone just like Edward, like every other woman who reads the series and that she "had" to read it. First she rolled her eyes at me, said "I really am not interested in reading it because these people are freaks about it all". Well she got bored one day, decided to pick up the book for something to do and was "hooked" as well, she could not put it down. We then proceeded to read the other 3, purchased the movie the day it came out and became like...
...

For a whole week I didn't do anything but read. I never was much on the Vampire thing but she shows you a whole different side to them a... human side. She made vampires beautiful and lovable which without losing the fear factor of them. Stephanie Myer did a wonderful job making you fall for the characters. Who would have thought that you would be rooting for vampires to have a happily ever after.

WOW,,,,,What a beautiful love story that takes place in this series of books. I picked up the Twilight book on a Saturday evening and on that following Sunday I read the last page of Breaking Dawn. It took me 8 days to read all four books in the series. Getting to know the two main characters in the first book and then seeing the movie Twilight is what hooked me. The descriptions are so realistic almost like you are inside of the story. Edward and Bella overcame fear of what others thought and saw them as. Edward being a vampire falling for his beloved Bella that he has seen for so many years in dreams and thoughts. Then for it all to come true for him,,,,his true love finnaly within reach. Their family and friends a big part of each book. Not only are these books about an amazing love but also about a few other really important things we tend to overlook these days. Loyalty, family and friendship. The family and friends of Edward and Bella are important to these storys also. Both familys......

I hadn't heard of Twilight until the last book was available, and since I have always been into Vampire-type things such as movies, books, and what-not I decided to read the first book. I read the first chapter and I was hooked! The intriging way the writer was able to capture and describe things to the reader was amazing. I am one of those people who when I read I visualize an image like a mini movie for just me and the way she wrote this book was so fantastic. I ended up reading the whole series in a matter of 4 days. I couldn't put them down. The intensity drew me in and didn't let me go. I feel the only problem I have is that it is only a 4 book series. The emotions in the book felt so real and felt myself as part of the story. The uniqueness of the vampire traits made it feel like this could happen in today's time. Not all darkness and dismal, loved the creativity of the writer to be able to modernize the vampire world. To show that not all vampires have to be cruel and unnatural...
...
