After almost a decade of being waiting, the Simpsons FINALLY have their faces on the big screen. Sure many have been waiting forever for this to happen, but the wait was well worth it! It was laugh out loud hilarious in theatres and even more enjoyable watching it in the comforts in my own home. The practical and simple jokes are enjoyable to listen to over and over again. I have yet to forget any of the scenes or characters within the film. Not to mention this is one of those movies that anyone can watch and not be offended in any manner. I must say that I would like to see another one hit the big screen again, but I've waited this long to see one come out, I'm sure I can wait long enough for another.

I thought this was really funny, plus it goes back into the old style of the simsons, when they did more episodes with morals. I miss those.

The Simpsons Movie is the next step up for the TV family. I purchased it right after it was released on DVD and myself and my children enjoyed it. It was on the same concept of the Fox show but longer. It was funny to a certain point. I was expecting more from it than what I saw. But all in all The Simpsons being trapped under the dome then escaping was pretty predictable of them. I would recommend a one time screening if you are a Simpsons fan. The ending was pretty good though. With Homer actually beiing the hero for once. So if you like the Simpsons then I hope you enjoy this movie.

The environmentally-themed story sees Homer J. Simpson alienate himself from his loved ones and fellow citizens of Springfield in what is arguably his most foolishly destructive act yet. But what's Homer to do when the silo is full and, thanks to Lisa's public campaigning, dumping in Lake Springfield is now prohibited? Take a wild guess.

Springfield undergoes an environmental disaster as a result, prompting President Arnold Schwarzenegger (voiced by Shearer) to take drastic -- and permanent -- action against Springfield to contain the trouble. The president, however, is but a pawn in the machinations of cunning EPA chief Russ Cargill (voiced by Brooks).

i watch the simpsons every night with my family and i love the show; i have been watching it for 15 years, of course when the animation was still horrible. i saw the simpsons movie when it first came out in theaters and i was pretty unsure about the movie. it didnt have a very good review when it first came out. while the animation has clearly gotten better; it seemed almost as though the writers for the movie had no idea what they were doing. i did laugh out loud quite a few times but otherwise i thought the humor was meant for simple minded people, and didnt have a great story line. i love homer he is my favorite; simply because he does play the role of the oblivious dad with a good heart, but it seemed like they changed homer's character in order to fit homers part into the movie. i continue to watch the simpsons every night but next time a movie comes out in theaters i will think twice before seeing it

It was ok at the beginning but gets much funnier. The whole simpsons cast is there from the hilirous series. Kinda different from most simpsons episodes they defintely stepped out off their comfort zone. Could watch again and again. When I first heard of it I thought... wel it might be okay and when I started to watch it their was a giggle here and there but about thirty minutes in I was non stop laughing. My younger brother who is ten and my father who is forty-two was laughing just as hard so you know that it will get laughs out of all age groups. This goes for everybody and anybody if you haven't seen it I recomend you do and if you have seen it even more then twice SE IT AGAIN ! if you like the simpsons you'll love this movie and if you don't like the simpsons you will now it's a fuuny and enjoyable movie for almost everybody. It' a perfect definition of a comedy, and it will bring you to love the simpsons more and more.

It was the moment the world had been waiting for. Finally a SIMPSONS movie! I know i waited for over a year for this great movie! The comedic that is The Simpsons will never die. If you thought they werent doing good, they knew how to change the way you thought.

The Simpsons movie is a Comedy\Drama\Love Story movie with fun all the way through through Spider Pig To Hairy Plopper. Lisa finds her true love, Bart skate boards naked, Maggie defeats a criminal, Marge gets embarrassed again, and Homer... well Homer dooms Springfield because of his laziness, a fat pig, and donuts.

Of course The Simpsons made fun of more people and politics. Starting with Presidint Shwrzenagger, ( Please ignore my spelling ) Spider Pig, and Hairy Plopper.Or how about a visit to dome depo? Trapachino anyone?

So the first time I sat in the theater and watched The Simpson (The Movie), I was thinking in my head that it was going to be better than the TV show. As I begin watching it, I thought it was funny and getting to the whole point of the movie. But after what seemed to be several hours, it was going nowhere. Most movies get to a certain point and eventally ends with you sitting on the edge of your seat what was going to happen next, but not this movie. They just kept drawing it out, further and further til you almost got really bored with it. I really just wanted to get up and leave at about the middle of the movie, but decided (and was asked) to stay and finish watching it. Ok so get to the point now! I understand that there's a freaking bubble over the city, but why save the town. Why not end it and come out with a second one? I think if they would have broken it up in two different parts it would have been such a better movie.

My overall of the movie is quite down than more recent...
