lindyk8 says "The Incredibles is a terrific movie for the whole family!" about The Incredibles

Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles is a perfect movie for the whole family! It has action, comedy, adventure, romance and suspense! The storyline is fresh and original, and the characters are very likeable - well, at least the good guys are! It is a fun ride for even the youngest viewers, while having themes about adolescent anxiety, midlife crises, marriage and family issues and parenting that teach without being preachy or heavy handed. By the end of the movie, you've learned important lessons about liking yourself and knowing what's important in life, and you've had a great time enjoying the story in the meantime...

julimi says "Very Funny and Family Oriented" about The Incredibles

This is another Disney hit. The Incredibles is definitely a movie for kids but adults will definitely enjoy it as well. It is about a family of superheroes who live a double life as their came a period when the society said that they didn't need superheroes. These superheroes then went on to live ordinary lives but one man missed the glory days and he does everything he can to stay in the action. (Listening to police radios and saving buildings that are on fire.) His actions eventually get him and his family into trouble as their is a group of villains who are trying to destroy all the superheroes. It's both a comedy and slightly love movie as the love between the two parents are rekindled as they go through an adventure that truly bonds them. It's also emphasizes the fact that you should be all that you can be and captures a lot of moral lessons. There is also a special section on the DVD that has a little comedy on the baby which is absolutely hilarous.
...

lorihall2861 says "Have probably watched this 20 times!" about The Incredibles

I love this movie! Love me some Jack Jack! Can not get enough of this movie! Have watched it like 20 times and will probably watch it again and again!

Love Samuel Jackson and his Frozone character!

This is a movie that you can laugh at everytime you see it! I laugh everytime Mr. Incredible beans the guy on the balcony with the coconut!

Story line is excellent and everything fits together! Enjoyed how the incredible family tried to be like normal people (while using their powers) until Mr Incredible opens the door for all to come out of hiding! Sorry, loved when he put his boss through the wall! Elasti Girl trying to be the good mother, Dash getting in trouble at school, Violet being the shy geeky type daughter, Jack Jack just being a baby until Kari with a K comes. Hope they make another!

Love the extra Jack Jack DVD that came with the movie! This answers questions as to the powers Jack Jack has!
...

The Incredible kept both my three and five year olds attention. Most movies don't appeal to both my kids, but this one did. There is great lessons and fun moments in the movie. My son loves super heros, so this really appealled to him. The movies wasn't too long, either. It is a great Disney movie for sure....

fredbigotti004 says "The Incredibles is quite possibly as perfect as a movie could be" about The Incredibles

The Incredibles has raised the bar for all animated films.

This Disney Pixar film tracks the life of a family of "Supers." Due to many law suits the superheros have been forced to live a 'normal' life, pretending to be like everyone else. The movie deals with the way that everyone in the family struggles with their dual life. While the movie reaches children with the message of "Be yourself," and "You are special the way you are," just to mention a couple. There are deeper themes that children will miss but that will reach adults. These themes deal with failled mentorship and what can happen when a person is forced to live an unfulfilling life.

The movie is filled with some of the best animated action sequences I have ever seen and is accompanied by one of the best movie scores I can think of. I went into this movie expecting it to be a disappointment and left with an new favorite movie. Producer Brad Bird is truly a genius.

...

This film was the best animated film I've ever seen. My children, husband, and I had the pleasure of seeing it at it's release in Walt Disney and to this day watch it weekly. It has something for everyone and is classicly funny. I hope Disney puts out a sequel to this wonderful picture! It is great of film as Toy Story!...

disneymagic says "Not your father's superheroes!" about The Incredibles

The superheroes and plot are amazing in this film. Over the past few years, Disney has been making "cookie cutter" films - they all look and sound alike and they do not hold your attention. I was leery about The Incredibles (and worried about violence and scary parts), but my son insisted on it for his 3rd birthday. I bought it and we watched it as a family. Needless to say, we ALL loved it. Adults, teen, and toddlers. It has been almost 3 years that we have owned this movie and it's still one of our favorites. It has great action, very good messages about good and evil, and lots of sweet family moments as well. It's a film for the entire family to enjoy together....
