This chair is wonderful for our small house. We do not have a separate dining room, meanning that we have a table and four chairs in our already too-small kitchen. We knew there was no way we could fit a high chair in on top of everything else - the answer was this little chair. It is easy to set up and use - just strap it to a chair and go! It is very easy to remove from the chair to be able to take it to grandma's house or wherever.

I have been using this chair with my son since he was about 2 months old - there are four different positions, so the chair can adjust as the child grows (he is a supported sitter now so we have it on the second position). The buttons to adjust are a little tricky at first and tend to stick, though - I feel almost like I need a third hand to do it. The tray is very easy to put on and take off. The chair (without the tray) will scooch in under our table in the second position (I think this would depend on your own chair and table heights) but...
...

Bought this high chair/booster chair to safe space. What you see is what you get, space saver, grows with child, durable, washable, easy to assemble and dismantle. Only thing sometimes I think its not too sturdy, I feel as though my daughter might break it. Yet its very convinient, probably wouldnt want to keep you infant or toddler sitting on it for long only for feedings. If your looking for somewhere where you can sit you child to do more than just feeding than this is not an optiong for you. This is allmost like your typical boster seat at a restaurant. You can take along with you very easily and takes no space. Good for the price I paid $20 at Kmart when it was on sale. You could use as an extra maybe to leave at babysitters or grandmas house if you already have a regular high chair. The tray space isn't as big as normally it should be but againg its purpose it to save space so you would expect that. It also doesnt containg a cup holder of anykind. Stapps may also not be resistant...
...

This Safety First feeding seat is great! It was easy to put together and it is easy to clean. The tray is easy to get on and off to wash in the sink (I don't remember if it is dishwasher safe, as I don't have a dishwasher). The cover is easy to take off to wash and to put back on, it is machine washable. It is also of a material that some things will easily wipe off of it. The buckle is easy to adjust and to open and close. It adjusts to different levels of reclining, although when I first got it and put it together I had the hardest time adjusting it. I tried for quite awhile and finally gave up since I didn't need it yet at that point, my son wasn't eating in a seat then. When it was about time for him to start eating cereal I tried again and finally got it to recline. After getting it to move just that one time, it loosened up. It was easier to adjust it to the next step and much easier to adjust to the next after that.
...

The First Years High Chair / Booster Seat was a good buy for our baby. It didn't cost much more than the others available and personaly I look not only for a good deal but also quality and this product did it for me. It's one of those high chair that you position on top of a chair and is securely tight to it with 2 harnesses. Also it has a harness to secure the baby when sitting that my son always tryes to undo but never can, very very good! The cover is washable and that is definetly a plus that not many other chair have, it makes it easy and quick if there is a spill out to take it off the plastic seat and through it in the washer. Also has a detachable tray that I was also in the dishwasher if I need to. It fits I believe many kind of chairs so it is usefull also if you go somewhere, granma, restaurant (little bulky for it but it does the job) etc.. Also I like that it's lightweight. Only thing bad that I could find is that it's all plastic, but onestly for the price it's ok and besides...
...

The First Years Booster Seat/High Chair is so practical I don't know why anyone wouldn't buy it. I live in your average size house. I don't have a huge kitchen to really store any bulky high chairs so when I became pregnant and registered for my baby shower a friend recommended The First Years Booster High Chair. To this day it was the BEST recommendation for a high chair I have ever received. The chair is reclining so when the babies start to eat, you can lean the chair back since babies aren't usually sitting up by four months when they start to eat baby food. Then as they are growing, your First Years High Chair grows with them. Another great feature of The first Years High Chair is that when your infant becomes a toddler, you can use the chair without the tray and push it up your dinner table and make them feel like they are Big Kids while eating at the table with the family. The First Years High Chair cover is removable and washable. The whole chair is washable and anyone...
...

Booster Seat by The First Years

Do you have a baby? Well, then you know that a highchair will be in your future. Did you know that a portable highchair could be just as useful as the main highchair in your home? If you already know that, than you're one step ahead of me. I didn't realize it until we took a long weekend away when our son was 7-months old. By then, he was adept at eating in the big-boy highchair, so feeding him in his car seat was problematic, to say the least. I won't go into the messy details, suffice to say, the following week I picked up the Portable 3-in-1 Booster Seat by The First Years.

Pros
Initially, I was pleased with the seat. It's easy to clean, and to maintain. There's a lip around the edge of the tray so spills can be mopped up before baby hands start splattering liquids everywhere. Food gets caught between the crevices a bit more than in the main highchair, but that's due to it's design for portable use. It's collapsible, and can be completely disassembled...
...

As a mom of four children you'd think I'd have everything I needed. With the space limited around here and the baby needing to be tilted for feedings being so young I needed something not so big and bulky yet reclined and was comfortable, soft and washable. Purchasing something that could grow with baby was important to me. I wanted a portable high chair that reclined, had a removeable washable seat pad and a belt to keep baby in and safe, and a nice tray that can be used as the baby got older. Fist years had it all.

First years Booster seat had a great design.

Several different reclining position

A removeable tray with a numbers and alphabet sheet that was washable

softwashable seat pad

nuetral colors

I loved this booster seat so much that I purchased one for my neice the following week. These are great when you don't have a lot of room to store a full size high chair or you just need something for grandma's or a sitter to keep when they watch baby. I would recommend this to all...
...

My mother and I found the First Year's Booster Seat at BJ's Wholesale club. It hadn't occured to me before I saw it that it would come in so handy. My son had just started eating solids and we were perplexed on how to feed him when we were visiting places like "grandma's house". We saw this product and thought it would be great and solve our problem! My son loves to sit in the chair and it is confortable for him. It works pretty easily and is almost like his regular highchair back at home. The only problem that i have encountered is the straps that hook it onto a regular chair. They were confusing to figure out and i gave up after spending about 10 minutes with an inpatient and ready to eat child. I ended up just putting the chair on the floor and sitting next to him to feed him. Not ideal, but a lot easier then struggling with him on my lap. I'm sure with a little more effort the straps wouldn't be such a problem, but i was also a bit concerned about the safety of the chair...
...

The First Years booster seat is absolutely awesome! It is light and easy to clean. I have twin girls so I needed something easy to move. Even when they aren't eating I let them sit in it to watch television and story time. They absolutely love it. The reclining is nice not just for when the eat, but when they fall asleep. They have bouncy seats, but when I don't feel like getting them out, this chair is comfortable enough for them to sit in for a little. I could go on and on. Their are also many things that come in this box that were great bonuses. I won't give it all a way. That will be a surprise for whoever purchases one! Buy it, buy it, buy it!
...

The first years reclining feeding seat was a piece of crap. When I put it together it was unstable so I thought I may have done it wrong so I had my husband try to fix it but it was still unstable, the seat on the higher setting was loose. It may have been fine in the lower setting. Also, it took 2 people to recline the darn thing; one to press in the side buttons and another to push the seat to the reclining position. The tray also requires both hands to remove. I returned this product....

I received the First Years booster as a shower gift when I had my daughter. I loved it back then and still use it for one of my twins. It's a nice space saver, but there are a few flaws. The base is pretty wide and doesn't fit nicely on some chairs, so it sits crooked. Also there are big gaps between the seat bottom and sides, so a LOT of crumbs fall underneath. It also doesn't have any special way of folding up for travel. You can fold the seat back down and lock the tray over it, but it is still pretty bulky that way. I also have the Fisher Price booster and am much happier with that one!...

We found out that we were expecting our 4th child and needed either a new high chair or a new pad for the one we currently had. We were very limited on space and had heard about the space saver high chairs. However they were quite pricey at around $50. We were at our local Target when we saw The First Years Newborn to Toddler Reclining Feeding Seat. It was reasonable priced at $29 and was much smaller than the other space saver high chairs. We purchased it and have been very pleased. Our baby is now 14 months and still loves this chair. The chair pad is easy to remove and wash. The tray is great for when we need extra space at the table and can be put aside and the chair used as a booster seat when she wants to sit at the table like a big girl. We were able to recline it when she was a baby for the first feedings. It is also very light weight and can be taken with you very easily. I wouldn't suggest taking it to a restaurant but it is perfect for taking it to Grandma's. ......
