I loved the mening behind this movie. It show a lot about how people can take life for granted at times and how you never know when or how your life can end. You have to make every moment, kiss, hug, laugh, cry, I love you, day, and night mean everything to you and last like it is your last one.
...

From the first time I saw this movie I couldn't help but fall in love with it; Jack Nicholson plays this rich guy who ends up with cancer. Morgan Freeman is this mechanic who also could tell you trivial facts at the drop of a hat. He finds out he has cancer too and ends up in the same room as Nicholson. At first, it's not a marriage made in heaven, but with the camaraderie of them in the same boat, going through the same things and Nicholson discovering the list Freeman made, aptly called a Bucket List, he decides to go on the adventure of a lifetime around the world. Of course, Freeman has some reservations, and has to talk to his wife(Beverly Todd)about it, who is none too pleased about her husband going around the world with some rich guy, but they do, and what an adventure they have. sky diving, driving around in the car of Freeman's dreams. sitting on top of the Sphinx in Egypt, dining on the French Rivera, hitting the Himalayas briefly, going to Hong Kong, hitting an African safari,...
...

Durkin says "Not that funny" about The Bucket List

The Bucket List was a real disappointment to me. I saw the trailers and I thought the movie would be hilarious, it was not. For the two main actors in this movie it was a real let down. I think they did a good job, but the script was diffidently lacking. I do not know what I would put on my list to do, if I knew I would be dead in a year or six months. But I have known a few people who have been given that option and some of them went crazy for a couple of weeks but really got serious and than really got sick. I guess in reality this movie just did not work. I have seen other movies with this theme and they have been much better. One of the movies I remember being better, was the one Meryl Strep, Gold Hawn and the x-moonlighting/x-die hard guy starred in where the two women became immortal and had to take care of there bodies because they had to last a while, because their immortality did not give the ability to regenerate there bodies. Now that was funny. I believe...
...

think this movie didnt need the big names to be good. makes you ask what would i do. a touching story that makes you smill at death. jack makes the perfict rich jerk that warms up to the terminal blue colar guy. had a good mix of the difrent thing people would want to do in there lifetime. the bucketlist is a good movie for the person who thinks they have done everything. showes your never to old to chase your dreams no mater how far feched they might be. would watch this movie agian, would pass up a movie i haven't seen to watch this one agian. think the way jack treated the assistant was the funniest parts of the movie. freeman was great like allways. them two together instant classic. hope they make more films together in the future....

If you could make a list of everything you wanted to do before you died and actually do it. . . wow. The Bucket List wanted me to live everyday as if it was my last. Not everyone is able to know when their time is almost over to choose to do all that they have ever wanted. This movie really makes you think. Jack Nicholson is his usual cranky self and Morgan Freeman is his down to earth responsible self. The two of them match perfectly together. I couldn't stop watching this movie.
...

The Bucket list is a great little movie - you know, one of those - I laughed, I cried, etc. With the two main characters - Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, how could it not be good? We see a lot of teen-age angst - boy meets girl, boy loses girl - action-thriller type movies but, this one is an escape from the norm. Many of us, will not be able to complete our "bucket lists" - who has the money? or the time, most of us will work until we drop dead at our jobs - with no time left to pursue our dreams.

I would recommend this light-hearted movie, with a good message!
...

Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicolson match up for a "Heart Lifting, Tear Jerking, Knee Slapping" film that demonstrates how short life realy is! Friendship, no matter how short it may be, is sooo valuable. True riches are friends, family and relationship with GOD!! This movie reminds us to "LIVE LIFE TOO IT'S fullest" but don't forget the most important things life has to offer....

I thought The Bucket List, was really well done. It brought out the best not only in both actors but it showed that everyone has a choice in what to do in his/her life. You DON'T have to sit on the sidelines and just die....live your life to the fullest! Never hold back, and love with all your heart....
