The Body Shop Mango Body Butter was one of the first body butters I ever used and I loved it then and it's still a favorite of mine. This rich, great smelling body butter hydrates my skin and leaves me smelling tropical!

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter

This body butter is sold in two sizes - 1.7 ounces and 6.9 ounces. It's much more economical to buy the larger size since the smaller one is $10.00 and the larger is $20.00. This body butter comes in an orange tub and is a buttery, light orange color. It's very thick and rich and smells sweet and like real mango. It doesn't have an artificial scent like many body products I have tried.

A little goes a long way. I usually scoop about a teaspoonful out and apply it to my legs and then another teaspoonful covers the rest of me. It is rich and takes a few minutes to fully absorb so I usually apply The Body Shop Mango Body Butter after my shower, throw on a robe, and do my hair while it absorbs. Then I can get dressed with no fear of oil stains....

The Body Shop's Mango Butter is one of my favorite scents in their body butter line. The fragrance is great and soothing while applying to my entire body after my shower. But the scent is not overpowering throughout the day. It leaves a nice quiet scent. I can still wear perfume and they are not competing. My skin simple loves this body butter. My skin drinks in all of the moisture and stays soft and supple all day. Since my skin is dry and itchy, I usually apply baby oil while my skin is still damp. Then I apply body lotion. However, on days when I use my body butter, I can skin the use of baby oil and only apply the butter. My skin doesn't get dry at all. Definitely try it. You will not be disappointed....

I've tried dozens upon dozens of products for my dry skin and the ones I find that work well on relieving the dry part, usually smell medicinal or try to cover up that medicinal smell with overpowering fragrance. I've used Body Shop products for over 20 years and always come back to them because they WORK. The mango body bhutter smells delicious as does their vitamin E line, which smells like roses, but again, not overpowering. They are not greasy, they absorb nicely and the fragrance lasts a long time. Yum!...

I love the smell of this stuff! It's also very, very moisturizing and works wonders on dry feet at night. I use it all winter long on the dryest parts of my body. It does tend to be a little greasy though, so I have to wash my hands after I have applied it so that I don't end up with it on my face or in my hair. Also, it tends to separate a little after time or if it's kept someplace warm...i.e. in a steamy bathroom all the time....

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter is one of my favorite body products. It has a fresh mango scent and the body butter does wonders for dry skin. The rich body butter replenishes skin’s moisture and leaves skin soft and smooth, as well as leaving a light scent of mango behind.

The Body Shop uses natural ingredients in their products. The ingredients are all high quality and the main ingredients all come from other countries that have a community trade agreement with The Body Shop. This helps underdeveloped countries prosper and the public gets a good quality product. They also do not test ingredients on animals.

My ViewPoint

I have naturally dry skin. It doesn’t matter if it is winter or summer, my skin is always dry, dry, dry. I have always been able to rely on body butters from The Body Shop to help restore some moisture to my skin. One of my favorite scents is the Mango Body Butter.
