I am thrilled with my purchase and am happy to post a positive review! I've worked out for 10 years, have been in Oxygen magazine, and have tried every stability and balance routine under the sun. Never before, have I felt so strongly about a product. My abs literally shook as I completed the exercises! They were 100% engaged. I knew I would definitely be sore in the morning, but, to my great surprise, I was sore the very same day. (I work my abs 2-3 times a week with a 15 lb medicine ball, and I run; my abs have not been sore in years.) The workout wasn't painful because of the support the Bender Ball provides to your back. I am very happy with this product. Let's give this thing another chance!! It works, and I've got the 6-pack to prove it! :-)

I looked at the reviews and was suprised to see such a low rating. It seems to be mostly because of problems purchasing the ball. I got mine at a sports authority for $20. When I opened up the product, I looked at the ball and was like I may have gotten hosed here. But after using it, its really well made. The workouts are really hard and effective, not to mention short. I really like this product and glad that i purchased it.

When i saw this on TV I just had to have it. I have a very bad back and keeping the stomach muscle built up is a must, so The Bender Ball looked like the perfect thing for both my back and stomach. I now wished I had never saw it, The bender Ball nearly broke my back there is no real support for it and I was not able to do anything with it that I could not have done with any other ball the some size, without the price!!!

You will not experience any billing problems if you buy it directly from Target. I read the reviews about people purchasing it on-line or over the phone and getting charged for additional items and additional monthly charges. I avoided all of that by purchasing it from Target for $19.99. The ball works great and it is fast and easy - also easy to store!

The Bender Ball is a good product. I will strongly advise you NOT to purchase directly from the company. BUY IT AT TARGET for 19.99 + tax. I also found it at Sports Authority. You get the Ball and DVD's. Save the gimmick and hassel. Good Luck.

I was also overcharged by approx. $46.00. I noticed through online banking the day after ordering.

I too wanted to hangup during the order process but was affraid i would be sold much more.

I havn't even received the product yet and can't get this company to admit they made a mistake. Everytime I call it takes about 20 minutes to get through and I get some lame excuse that they are researching my compaint. What research... just look at the friggin order for one ball and one video and give me my money!!! Thay always tell me they will call back.. I have yet to recieve a call back after one week. meanwhile, i'll still call everyday till i get my money back. I hope they dont try to charge me next month.

I'm sure the ball is ok for what they say... but I'm getting a better workout fighting this company!

DON'T BOTHER ORDERING!!! Total Scammers

Get one of those kids multi-colored ball for $.99 and save yourself a bundle!!

For those of you that have ever watched the TV infomercial for The Bender Ball and thought , "OK, it looks kinda cool but like all that other TV stuff, it probably doesn't do what it says it will." YOU'RE WRONG! If you've ordered this product and not gotten it as quickly as you'd like, well, anything you order off TV takes 4-6 weeks usually. Order off the internet site and you will get quicker shipping and don't have to deal with a crappy customer service company that was hired to answer the phone and take orders (not by Leslee herself, mind you). Sometimes you'll even get a better deal off the internet. Anyways, anyone that HAS bought the product and complained about it on this forum probably isn't using it correctly and are trying to do advanced moves right from the get go. We all do it. Even me, a fitness instructor with years of experience. Her concept and product are pretty darn good. Used correctly, The Bender Ball will do what it says. For any of you that have...

I used the bender ball with a personal trainer at the gym and wanted one for home. My local sports store did not carry it, so I ordered over the internet. I either did not notice or forgot about the subsequent DVD shipments automatically charged to my credit card. I kept the first set of DVDs and cancelled. I do actually use the DVDs and am frankly glad to have them, but I prefer to buy DVDs when and if I want them, and not have them automatically sent and billed to me just because I bought a product....

Bender ball scam!!! I ordered Bender Ball online, and a month later got charged another $26.98. Called their customer service line, no one spoke English, and told me supposedly I had signed up some kind of program with them, once I received the Bender Ball. No where on the website mentions this disclaimer. This $26.98 charge was going to be charged onto my account on a monthly basis, and I would get DVD's in return. They would not refund my money, I had to ship the product back, and had to pay for shipping. No one was helpful at the customer service line. ...

I love it. My favorite thing is that she has a little roll on her belly- just like me. It was an easy thing to use. Just dont inflate the ball all the way. It was much easier to use that way. THey will keep sending you videos unless you cancel them thought. You have to call and talk to the support people and they aren't very nice. It was a hassel to send the videos back. Just cancel the subscription right away. I bet they make a lot of money by people being too lazy to send the first video back. Other than that it is an easy to use product. It is too earlt to see about results so I cant help there...

This ball is cute and my dog loves it. It does work for your abs. However It is in no way worth the hassle of trying to get your money back which they steal from you by automatically signing you up for their monthly dvd program. MONTHLY DVDS???? To learn new ways to exercise with a little rubber ball???????
If you do get sucked in and buy it be sure to return your unwanted shipments after requesting a proof of refusal from fed ex and be sure to check back with the company to be sure they are processing your refund. I changed my debit card as well so they couldnt make any more charges.

I ran across the tv commercial for this product advertising $19.99 with freebies added and thought it would be worth it only to realize when calling it was ONLY a automated system getting you to buy other products such as videos,vitamins and monthly memberships etc. I immediately hung up as i was highly aggravated and assumed that would automatically cancel my order, well i thought WRONG! About 4 weeks later it showed up at my door as i had not thought once about it since the day of ordering and noticed that they charged my credit card $55 and some change. I immediately called and was given a return auth. number and advised would be credited back to credit card! It was NEVER opened at all! My credit card status showed only $25.96 was credited and called them and was told $15 and change was a shipping charge that they KEPT! That was never disclosed during conversation for return! ..........ALL IM SAYING IS NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING BY PHONE UNLESS YOU SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON THAT HAS A ID...

I really enjoy using the bender ball because its quick and to the point. I have read other reviews and I dont think they are giving the product a fair chance, because they cant get pass the problems they had with purchasing the item. I personally had no problems purchasing the bender ball. I find the bender ball very helpfull and easy. The bender ball is so quick and to the point I use it 7 days a week when my baby goes to sleep or before I goto work, that's how easy it is. I would recommend the bender ball because I think its a great product and it's not very time consuming. I will continue using the bender ball because it is working great for me.

I have had the run around too, ordered one charged for two, no refund , and was assured on the phone i would not be getting more products every month, received one ball, not two and the invoice said i was on the continuing program and would receive next shipment in a month? what ??? I am seriously considering getting an attorney for a class action suit to get money back and stop this madness that is seems everone else is getting also.. Bender Ball is a rip off company and the better business bureau will be notified of this....

First of all, it takes them more than a month and a half to ship the product to you. When the product does arrive, it comes with a straw to inflate the ball that is too small for the inflation hole so it is next to impossible to completely inflate the ball. The ball also does not hold shape when you use it - it becomes more of an oval than a sphere.

Worst of all, they continue to send you products and charge your account without your permission. I called to let them know they do not have permission to charge my account, and a month later they charged me again! I finally had to speak to a supervisor in order to get a refund, but it is not even a full refund since they will not refund $12 of shipping and handling for a DVD I never ordered.

Please tell everyone you know not to purchase from bender ball! The product quality and customer service is TERRIBLE!
