I am an animal lover and really strive to give them the best food and products available. I don't spend top dollar but try to get the most for my money. Tetra Reptomin is an inexpensive food for turtles that floats and is highly visible so you can see if your animal has eaten. I have two turtles in an aquarium with goldfish and they are thriving each day. One has really grown more than the other and I think its because he has a bigger appetite. They love the food and come up to the tank as soon as they see me waiting to eat. They eat immediately and seem to just love the food. The food is hard so I think it is good for there jaws since they have to bite down on it to chew. Tetra Reptomin seems to be what is keeping my Turtles healthy and growing.

I have had two red ear slider aquatic turtles. Both of these turtles have been picky eaters, as turtles go. I tried a few different types of food from PetSmart in an effort to find the perfect one. After trying other floating pellets, I bought a reasonably priced but large bottle of Tetra Reptomin Floating Food Sticks. The sticks were somewhat long, but I solved that by breaking them in half. My larger turtle had no problem with the original size sticks, and ate them quickly. My smaller turtle also enjoyed the smaller sticks.

These floated just until they were soggy. My turtles loved chasing these around the tank before gobbling them up one by one. I do wish these did not break apart after becoming soggy, but that is the nature of all floating pellets or sticks. Overall, these are a great value, have good nutritional content, and my turtles did not grow tired of them after eating them a few times. Great to use in additional to edible plants and feeder fish.

I have used this product for ten years and while I supplement with fresh fruits and vegetables too, our turtle is thriving. She is full grown and does not hesitate to eat this food. I like that it is easy to find in local stores, reasonably priced and has a balanced nutrient content.

My husband and I have two turtles. Their names are Frank and Bernard and they love the tetra reptomin floating foot sticks. They eat the other types of floating pellets but these are their favorite by far. When I pick up the container the turtles swim over to it and if I shake it the turtles shake and bob their heads to it. Then when I put the sticks in my hand they follow my fingers. My favorite part is when I put a stick in my hand and put it near the water and they eat the sticks right out of my hand. It made my turtles much easier to get used to me being near them and handling them for vet visits, tank cleaning and all the other things that go with owning pets!

Unfotunately the Tetra Reptomin Floating food sticks are not available at my local pet store anymore (as I have recently moved to a new city) so I have had to make do with other floating foods like pellets, fruits and vegetables. But I can absolutely tell the difference between the food sticks and the pellets and...

I currently have 4 turtles and they all LOVE the Tetr Reptomin Floatin Sticks!! I especially love the container that has the floating sticks along with krill and shrimp. It's soooo convenient!...

We have two red eared sliders, which are awesome pets, but the really seem to like this turtle food. It doesn't seem to be messy like the other foods that are required in their daily diet! I really enjoy the reptomin that have the longer pieces because it makes the hand feeding easier and saves fingers from bites. This food is great so far!...

my mother uses tetre reptomin floating food sticks. i love to feed the to her turtle. he chases you around and allow you to hand feed him. it is a great product in my view because you can hand feed them and they are long enough to do so.

tetra reptomin floating foodsticks are just that floating! this is extremely important when you have aquatic animals. i have tried other brands and they just sink to the bottom. and if you do not have bottom feeding animals this does you no good. this product is exactly what you need, if you have aquatic animals, i made the switch you should too!...

We always have Tetra Reptomin Floating food stickson hand ....This is our turtle (Shell-don)'s favorite food next to night crawlers and feeder fish.. He gets so excited when someone picks up the container and shakes it in front of him...We have tried other brands but only to find them floating in the tank hours later and clogging up the filter...For the health and well being of our beloved little friend please don't ever discontinue Tetra Reptomin Floating food sticks .Thanks again pattycakes21959

My kids have all types of animals but my favourite is the turtles.They are easy to maintain and dont make any annoying sounds like some of the others.I have found this to be the best turtle food on the market yet.It creates no mess and will not cloudy up the water like some of the others do and it has very little smell so therefore your turtle tank will remain clean for about a week at a time.This really works out well for me & my family.
