One show that I always loved to watch was "I Love Lucy" featuring Desi Arnaz and the very talented Lucille O'Ball. Now imagining the humor of television shows in the 50's, none surpassed the wacky and fresh wit that was the "I Love Lucy" show, whose protagonist was a not only a woman, but a housewife. Lucille or Lucy in the show projected a role of the traditional American housewife with a husband and close neighbors and a clean house. However, Lucy goes above and beyond her call of duty, by implementing her creative and vivid imagination to her many schemes to get what she wants. From scaling a New York building in a Superman costume to stuffing 5 pounds of chocolate down her shirt, this lady of comedy gave a new name to " the bored housewife", and she never ceases to impress, even to viewers today. I am 52 years old and I am able to remember many of the wonderful TV shows I watched growing up. Shows such as; Highway Patrol, Tarzan, Gunsmoke, Lawman, Laramie, Daniel Boone, Combat, Lassie, Fury, Batman, Superman and many,many more.

I loved to watch when the different stations (we only had three, ABC, NBC and CBS) would start showing the new fall line ups for night time viewing and the Saturday morning cartoons. I remember when they first showed the new series Daniel Boone on the fall season commericals. Man, I got so excited. I watched that station all day long just to see ole Daniel!

When the day came for the season to start it was on a Saturday morning. You tried to watch all of the new cartoons and find out which ones were the best and then set up your schedule as to whom you would watch and at what time. After this was over then you had to wait until Saturday night and on this night you usually had the best shows. When it was time for Daniel Boone to come on I...

No one out there can compair with Tyler Perry's Madea. That is the character that I love the most. Not only do you learn something from the shows that she is in but you laugh so much that the shows stick with you long after you have returned the movie or have watch it on T.V.

If you list to madea she will tell you something important, while making it seem ok to talk about the situation.

I have never seen another character like her, she is the best. I never did like watching anything that had a religious thyme to it, but with the Tylor Perry show, as long as Madea is in them, does make me feel too uneasy. These shows I can do bad all by myself, class reunion, madea goes to jail, Mades's family reunion, and the Diary of a mad black woman get's you to thinking about the subject line.

The subject line changes over and over again to different topics, so if you go out and watch one of these shows make sure that you pay attention or you will miss something that might be important to you or...

HE PLAYS THE PART OF THE MAIN CHARACTER IN THIS SHOW REALLY WELL.HE'S A FORMER DRUG ADDICT WHO MADE A "DEAL" WITH GOD THAT IF HE HELPED HIM TO BEAT HIS ADDICTION HE WOULD GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ADDICTS FIND THEIR WAY TO RECOVERY.IT IS A TRUE STORY(DOCUMENTARY?) Greatest Characters on TV
According to Me Anyway :)

Fraiser Crane - This character, played so very well by Kelsey Grammer, is so good that he was the only character in the classic sit-com Cheers to have his own sucessful spinoff show. I loved watching him in both shows. HIs own show, Fraiser, was under head writer Christopher Lloyd who is hilarious himself. He's the classic shrink who's almost as crazy as his patients. The chemistry among his costars on that show is just fun to watch too, especially with Niles who sometimes steals the scenes he's in with his contrastingly subdued but very funny acting.

Kramer - Of all the crazy characters on the most famous show about nothing, Seinfield, Kramer takes the cake. I'm surprised Richards hasn't parlayed his Kramer into his own show. He's the nutty neighbor every apartment dweller hopes he doesn't have. A trainwreck waiting to happen, but we can't keep from watching to see what happens next. My favorite was when he made the coffee......

George Costanza is the greatest TV character of all time and I I highly recommend you get the Seinfeld box set. Not only is his sense of humor amazing, but he is so immature that basically everything he does is hilarious.

Take for instance the time he tries to fake out the unemployment service by using a fake company name. I mean come on, that is so damn funny. So anyway I think you should rent these dvds....

I happen to believe that Scooby Doo is the greatest television character ever. I grew up watching Scooby Doo and now my 4 year old son watches it. Normally, I do not allow him to watch anything except for educational shows, but who could say no to Scooby Doo. I am an adult and I can still sit and watch Scooby Doo with my son and I don't get bored. Scooby Doo is a classic and he has been around for ages. He is and always will be my favorite television character....

they say dora and spongebob are one of the best cartoons out there today
well i guess they did not grow up watching cartoons of the 1970's those were cartoons
thank goodness for the boomerang channel or kids would not know what real cartoons were
sure todays cartoons are action packed learning adventure but thats all that is on
kids are so involved with cartoons that they dont get out and go outside
there is a endless array of cartoons, they never end
and they are way to commercialized they have everything from music to clothes to just anything imaginable with the cartoon chararcter on it
give me a break, i dont need to show my status or how popular my kids need to be all because of who or what is on their clothes

I am not certain what or who I am to review here, but I will throw a big shout out to a somewhat unkown and often overlooked character of Lowell Mathers from the NBC sitcom "Wings." He was always good for a laugh with whimsical and distorted perspectives on life, and when he left the show I think that the show suffered a great deal until it finally got cancelled. I know he is a miniscual character amongst the better known, but I still feel as though he has something to offer if you should happen to catch an old rerun at 3:00 in the morning....

Great show! It was a real representation of what TV should be. There isn't a lot of TV I care to watch these days, but I could watch this over and over again. My entire family enjoyed this show. I wonder when it comes on again...

We are lovers of classic TV shows and this brought back lots of memories from when we were kids....
