kadz1 says "love this site..but" about Television Without Pity

Television Without Pity: I love going to this site but I think at times the posters can be wayy to anyatical. It's like they think alot of these TV shows are real. I like to read a short synopsis on whether a particular TV show was good or not, not read long dissertations about the mental state of a fictional character....

asia745 says "For everyone who can"t sit still" about Television Without Pity

I am always missing my favorite shows and even though i don't have a way to record them. I ran across this website when i was trying to catch up on one of my shows. the website is easy to navigate and the reviews are funny and informative. I can usually read the review and leave the site feeling like i have seen the show. It also keeps up with whether a show is off the air or not. recently, I went on the site and was lucky enough to read about a show that was off the air. I got to find out what happened on it without having to download it....

Raychraych says "When you don't have time for TV" about Television Without Pity

Ok, so sometimes I don't have time to sit down and watch a half-hour show, let alone be present and active at the same time each week. And some shows, let's face it, are a waste of time. This is where Television Without Pity comes in. Read synopses of your favorite shows, spiced with an acerbic wit and a shot of hilarity. I find myself logging on to check out an episode I missed, only to plow through dozens of shows that I don't even like, just because the reviews are so perfect. This site just slays me....

sjbhrrs2003 says "Christian shows are the best!" about Television Without Pity

I believe television shows today are more on giving into violence and sex. This is not how it should be! God wants us to enjoy ourselves but not to that extent. I do not want Christian shows taken off the air, and wish there were more Christian shows for my family to watch....

LoveisJoy says ""Snark" Served Daily: Cold, Fresh, and Salty" about Television Without Pity

I reluctantly admit that I am guilty of the occasional "snark." Defined by urbandictionary.com as a combination of the words "snide" and "remark," we all know someone with the uncanny ability to serve lethal doses of witty and sarcastic comments that we wished we'd thought of. Now, all of the snarky people--and their admirers--have a place where they can gather online to thoroughly trash and overanalyze mindless television programming: Television Without Pity (TWOP).
I had never heard of TWOP when I first came across it while searching for information on a favorite TV show (America's Next Top Model - another guilty pleasure). TWOP is best known for its "recaps" of television shows, which are written by seriously snarky writers who provide often-hilarious play-by-play analysis of what happened on the show. After reading the recaps, you can go to the forums and discuss the shows with other users.

Ironically, even though the snark can get a little mean-spirited (hence my guilt...
...

iwunderu says "Warning: This is an addictive website." about Television Without Pity

Just as my title states, this is addictive! I found the site while looking for a forum that was related to a TV show I was really into. I found myself going in daily to read the latest people had to say about it.

So far the best forums are related to the reality shows. I love the speculation and conspiracy theories.

If you are at all interested in what people are saying about a TV show, this is the place for you.
...

NikiTaylor says "If you like to laugh at TV shows, this is the site for you!" about Television Without Pity

The website televisionwithoutpity.com is a hoot. The title says it all since the site makes fun of television shows. There are writers who write hilarious synopses of certain shows, but thanks to the forums, everyone can get in on the fun of raking shows over the coals. The forums cover every show past and present. The people in the forums can be so funny I want to watch the shows just to see what their responses are. They are particularly hilarious when discussing reality shows especially those train wrecks on VH1. Besides participating in forums and reading synopses, visitors can vote in irreverent polls and buy television without pity merchandise. The only drawback is you can suffer withdrawal if a show is in repeats, and there is nothing new to talk about. However, any devoted TV watcher can find enough shows to be snarky about. After all the site's motto is "Spare the snark, spoil the network".
...
