I am a busy mother of three beautiful healthy children ages 7, 5 and 2. As most new Moms, when my oldest was born, I was given the "designer" brand baby formula samples from the hospital and the pediatrician had recommended it as well. So without question, I purchased and used Similac for several months with no problem, other than the sticker shock! It was my husband who came home one day with the Target brand infant formula. He had compared the ingredients on the label and found them to be almost identical. Being a cautious new mom I checked with the nurse practitioner at my pediatricians office and she was happy to inform me that it would be fine to use the Target brand. She only cautioned that if my baby showed signs of increased fussiness etc... that it may be the switch in formula. Well, it went off without a hitch. I used it for baby number two and even when my youngest required a soy based formula, target had their own brand for that as well. The savings are incredible. ...

I found the store named formula is just as good as the name brands and saves you a lot more money. I definitely recommend this product. Why pay more just for a name.

I started out using Enfimil with Iron when my first daughter was born only when I was waiting for my milk to come in. It was the samples they give you at the hospital. After about 3 months I go sick and stop producing milk. I had to switch to formula and as everybody knows that means spending money. My sister (mother of 3) told me about the Target Brand Milk Based Formula when she saw me trying to arrange my budget. I had told her I wanted the next best thing to breast milk. My pediatrician had recommended to go back on Enfimil. She ended up making me go with her to Target to show me both cans of formula. I was amazed...they were exactly the same! They both contained Lipil and Iron and DHA. I still was skeptical because the Target Brand was more of a yellow color then Emfimil was. But when I looked at the price I was sold! Target Milk Based Formula was literally half the price of Enfimil. It saved me around 15 dollars that I used towards diapers! Plus, my daughter was fine with it. She...

My baby loves this formula and he is growing like a weed on it. He never had a tummy problems with this brand. I love that it is only half of the price as the name brands. I would recommend this formula to all of my friends who are more aware of their budget limitations.

I picked up a can of this formula one day when we had run out of the Enfamil Iron formula that we were using. I was a bit scared at first that it would be too different and that my daughter would reject it, but she happily drank her bottle.

The only downside to this product that I noticed was that the formula clumped a bit when mixing, so I'd have to do a lot of shaking and then put it through a strainer to get and dissolve the clumps. A little extra work, but worth the money saved.

For the first 6 months of my son's life I either nursed or used Enfamil, because that is what the hospital and the pediatrician told us to use.

I feel that I really didn't know any better. We got Enfamil coupons in the mail all the time and we would also get free samples.

I started to hear a lot of people were using the Target brand formula and have not had any problems with it. I did some research on it and found that it was half the price of Enfamil. It had the exact same ingredients. But for $12.99 vs. @24.99! I looked up the company that makes the Target brand formula and it is a very upstanding company with no problems (that I could find!)

My son took to it with no problems at all. We gave him the Target brand from when he was 6 months old until he was 13 months old. I will most definitely be giving this to our second child, without even considering Enfamil. Sometimes the most expensive doesn't always mean the best!

My doctor told me to try the store brand formula as it is cheaper and they are usually good at making the formula taste the same as the brand name. Not the case. The milk looked different, smelled funny (they all do, but worse than the others), and my child instantly noticed the difference. Had to throw the can away.

Target formula is awesome. it runs about 11.85 a can and is EXACTLY the same thing as Enfamil. Seriously look at the back of the can and you will see there is not one thing that is different from enfamil and it is also very similar to similac too. i switched my daughter to it from similac when she was 3 months old and she actually liked the taste of it better. I mean if you like to spend an extra 13.00 on formula then buy the brand, but i strongly recommend store brand.

My daughter is my first child and I did everything by the "book" she had the best formula and the best diapers, until I got laid off of work. In efforts to save money I shopped around. I found the target brand formula and compared it too the name brands. My daughter had to have the gentleease formula, I seen the ratings on the target can to compare but just to be sure I picked up the name brand and double compared them. I bought one can to see how she would handle the formula and it was perfect! I actually liked the target brand better because it was more fine and easier to mix during the shaking process. She never noticed the difference between the two and I couldnt have been more happy! The formula from name brand in my area is 25.00 a can and I bought the target brand for 14.00!!! What a savings!! I could buy two cans for what one can cost!! I continued to use this up until her first birthday and will use again with any of my future children!

So glad I found Target brand powder formula and had the sense to try it. It has almost exactly the same ingredients as Similac but half the price. I was using Similac because I got free samples and had coupons. When those ran out I couldn't afford it anylonger so I tried the traget brand no difference. Sometimes when I would get a Similac coupon I would purchase similac and mix them. My son did not know the difference and responded the same way. I can't believe I was spending so much money on the name brand powder formula becuase I thought it was better. I realized when I compared the ingredients that I was just paying for the name. I won't do that again. I know now to always check to see if there is a store brand of something before I go for the name brand. I have applied to many things in my shopping now. Especially now that my son is eating normal food, target has some good name brand foods too.

I gave my son Enfamil when I was done breastfeeding him. Once I ran out of coupons, it became tough to pay the price each time with the increasing needs of a growing baby. I compared the ingredients of Enfamil and Target brand infant formula and found that they were completely the same. I was impressed! I could give my child the nutrients of the brand name formula for only half the price.

When my Daughter was born it was nothing but the best for her...name brand everything...I know i sound like the pampers commercial...but it was so true 1st child you kind of tend to be that way...It was Enfamil and that was it...I had done so many comparisons on all formulas during my pregnancy and compared the ingredients...and none of them where exactly like amount for amount. Then I stopped by target for Avent nipples and i Noticed they put out there own brand of Enfamil Gentlease Lipil...and the ingredients were exactly the same i said "what the heck for $16.00 for the big can lets try it......The best move I ever made I saved so much money and I didn't get mad if it went to waste...I hope you make the switch and try it...!!!!
